His email response time was quick and was able to meet via facetime. His pricing is affordable and he offered several services in addition to his DJing and MCing. We also included special lighting to make our venue look like a club by the time the open dance floor was open. Finally, we requested a custom gobo light on the blank wall in our reception venue space. (See photos) We spoke on the phone a few times before our wedding day to make sure he got our music down for our cocktail hour, grand entrance, open dance floor, and even pronunciation of our wedding entourage guests. The biggest disappointment was how impersonal the entire experience felt. Outside of one standard planning phone call, we never heard from him. We didn't feel like he cared about getting to know us or our vision for the wedding. Instead we felt like just another couple on his schedule, another job to get through because he was the venue's required DJ. We gave him a playlist of songs we wanted played and specifically asked that he stick to those instead of mixing in his own music. Somehow, that turned into him refusing guest song requests all night. Several guests told us they were turned away, which was frustrating because that wasn't what we had asked for. Looking back a year later, this was a part of our wedding that left us disappointed.

We needed up having my god daughter play the violin for us (the pre-processional/processional songs) during the wedding ceremony but he worked with her the day off to get the timing and sound right for the ceremony.
