Run from this guy. Zwernemann did our shower in 2018. Now the shower pan that his inexperienced crew cut to fix their off center drain has leaked under slab, and we have a $12k foundation repair bill that is NOT covered by insurance. We also have to completely rebuild our shower. We trusted him as a professional. We got burned. I would not let him or his crew near my home knowing what we know now. When he came by recently to inspect, he denied his crew cut the shower pan. The proof is in the pics. He lied to my face with ease. Not smart to deny in the day of cell phones. read more

This flooring company was recommended but it was a nightmare from the start of the project. First, there is no communication about delays which happened three times. Second, they ordered more than was needed for the job and they didn't inform me that after they removed my sink, I would have to hire a plumber to reinstall. Had to replace the carpet in our bedrooms with laminate. The CDC said there was some unknown bacteria growing in my kids rooms.. I bought the laminate from a website because I was matching the existing. They came out and quoted a price and were able to install 3 bedrooms and closet in a day and a half. They probably could have done it all in a day if I didn't have to move furniture back and forth. Scott R. was the salesman I worked with and it was an easy transaction. We built our house about 21/2 years ago. After moving in, we noticed they'd left absolutely no left over tiles for floors and kitchen and bathroom backsplash so, etc. nor had they left us any left over wood flooring. That pretty much eliminates our ability to have any repairs done. We notified our sales rep, Leah, and her first reaction was to blame builder cleanup crew. This went back and forth and she said they'd get us the extras, but we never got them. We did finally have to have tiles that cracked replaced in the bathroom and after a long search they found a match. The installer left extra and kept telling us they knew we were to get extras for all other tiles and wood flooring and would be bringing it to us. Several trips for repair, always an excuse for not having them. Then job was done and no other materials. We kept calling our Leah, and kept being told we'd get it. Never happened. Now she won't even return our calls. I'd NEVER use them again. BTW, I think our sales lady may now be the manager. read more

I have looked at many floor stores in the BCS area for a particular floor tile to repair a few broken ones. When I went in to Zwernemann's, one of the ladies knew the name right off (I did not catch her name). Unfortunately, my tile was discontinued but Jud was able to go on line and find me something very similar and not too far away. Each of the 3 ladies and Jud went out of their way to help me trouble shoot ways to fix the broken tiles. Never was there any pressure to replace and buy from them. I am a property manager for a large management company here in town. I have used several flooring companies during the "turn" when these poor companies are absolutely FLOODED with work orders and I will be the first to admit I had several disasters working with some other unnamed companies....tenants moving in on concrete as they ordered more materials to the store. That could be understandable if I had not turned in the work orders for the new flooring two months beforehand.
