Bought three new magazines for Ruger 10/22 not in stock had to order , upon opening one was defective ,they took in apart to find parts missing,then told me I'd have to take it up with Ruger they were not replacing it. so for a $25 dollar part there throwing away all my future business . I have owned and carried legally for over 50 years and do not need a tutorial on what gun I am looking to purchase. It's nice that they are well versed in the different weaponry but just show me what I ask for. Did not buy a gun just an accessory and had to stand around while two and then three salespersons fawned over a a young girl looking to by a gun. Finally got someone to take my payment while acting like I was interrupting him. Arrogance in a gun shop is almost expected anymore, but this was slightly over the top. I walked in at 11 a.m. on a Thursday and was treated to a knockout store manager with a holstered semi-auto handgun (rawr), a gorgeous boxer puppy and a helpful clerk. "I'd like some 38 Special practice rounds, preferably CCI in a 158 grain." "Blazer good?" "Yup." And $16 later, I had 50 rounds of my favorite clean-ignition ammunition in a bag with a promise of some .357 hollow points on my next visit. I shoot as often as I can. ZX is the best place to get ammo at reasonable prices. Normally have steel or brass in stock (limits on how many boxes each, but it's 2021, so that's expected). For example, just picked up a box of 9mm FMJ PMC Bronze for $14.99 (plus 3% credit card fee). Same ammo in Mishawaka is $44.99. Really appreciate the guys not trying to make it rich off the current ammo shortage. Great selection on handguns AND parts. In-stock BCM grips, Radian charging handles, extended base-pads, most streamlights (didn't have a TLR7A though), entire line-up of Magpul, etc... Really appreciate the selection of MRDS available, the locally produced lowers/uppers and complete rifles. Give them a stop. Well worth it. read more

We started off at the Ft. Wayne store, but they didn't have what we wanted in stock. The sales associate was helpful and called the Goshen store to inquire about the gun we were looking for. Thankfully the Goshen store had 1 left in stock and were kind enough to hold it while we made the hour + drive there. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I have guns from them on Gun Shows and this was first time in store. I was there for a transfer an online purchase. I am a collector and my purchase came spotless but salesman was cocky, careless and incompetent to handle firearms. And that resulted a nick on the stock right in front of my eyes. When I asked him to be more careful when handling firearms and pointed towards nick, he said it came from the factory and he didn't do it. Are you kidding me? I just saw it happening. He should rewind security footage and look at it himself how he did it. Rest of the process went normal but I left with a bitter experience. We write these reviews due to our own standards, and expectations of a business practice in good standing. I will not deal with this particular staff at this location (Fort Wayne) again but may consider them while at Gun shows. read more

Saturday 5/20, I went to their Fort Wayne IN. store with the intent of buying a Sig P320 Carry. While there one of their employees assisted me in comparing the Carry/Compact. While there is very little difference between guns there was a roughly $60 difference in price. I decided on the Carry, or so I thought I did. In the time their employee took the guns from in front of me, then completed all the paperwork then told me they was charging me an extra 3% for using my debit card (very irritating but posted so I paid it) alone with the price of the gun. Sunday 5/21, I was filing my paperwork when I noticed I paid roughly $60 more than the gun was posted. So I closed the case and planned to go into their store on Tuesday. (closed on Mondays) Tuesday 5/23, I went into the Fort Wayne store to explain my problem when we discovered their employee had actually charged me the correct price, but sold me the wrong gun. They sold me the Sip P320 Compact. While I do take some responsibility that I did not catch this in the store I did express to the manager that I feel we (ZX guns and myself) made this mistake. To my surprise the store manager actually tried to buy the brand new gun back at a $80 loss to me. Then he proceeded to tell me his owner had agreed to that. I explained that I fully understand both parties made a mistake that I would even be willing to take a "in store credit" to compensate for some of my $60 loss. He basically told me he didn't give a shit and there was nothing he was going to do about it. I will never set foot inside a ZX Guns store and will highly recommend one of the other 10+ stores in Fort Wayne to spend your money. (ZX- your NOT the only guns store in town) ZX owner Chad is supposed to call me, I hope I can update this post to say that their owner stood up and did the right thing. I am not asking for him to lose allot of money nor should I. But as a store owner he needs to meet me in the middle somewhere. Hope my opinion changes... ***UPDATE*** I have had a couple conversations with the owner since my ordeal. He has since made it right to me. We have both given and lost a little but I appreciate him taking the time to make me feel like he cares about it customers. read more

Don't go here, was going to buy a ruger sr9c from here. Called yesterday and got a better price on it from Clay. Rual king has this gun for $349.93 and Clay said the best he could do was $409.99. Went in there today to buy the gun and everybody behind the counter was talking about getting drunk and driving home last night and then they told me that they couldn't give me a better price on the gun.
