Their birria tacos were quite good. The meat was so tender and flavorful (subtle), and the tortillas were perfectly cooked. The broth was rich and satisfying, and the overall experience was top-notch. If you're in the area, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

Love the food the people the price for an amazing meal especially being downtown. Just a great place for great Mexican food. It's a very casual restaurant. Walk up and order at the counter then take your seat. Then someone will bring you your order.

Mex Tex type of restaurant. It wasn't busy at all for a Thursday lunch at 12:00pm. Everything we had was pretty good. The pastor and cod wasn't as tender as the shrimp. But still great flavor. We went with no salt except for the pastor. They all had flavor already. We didn't see super burrito option but the lady said they could do it. Free salsa station. 1 restroom. Plenty of street parking all around. Alaskan Cod taco- tiny portion of cod but a lot of cabbage, cod could be more tender Al Pastor super burrito- pastor was a bit dry Shrimp super burrito- very good

This is my go to lunch spot every time I visit Paso. The food is delicious, filling, comes out quickly, and is reasonably priced. I've ordered a few different burritos from the menu and the enchiladas. My favorite burrito so far has been the surf and turf with shrimp and steak! You can also never go wrong with the chicken enchiladas. There is ample seating inside and out front, especially now with the parklets. Even without them though, there is a nice covered seating area outside. This spot has a great location in the center of downtown right across the street from the park. Plenty of parking in the area, though you may have a little walk if it's a busy afternoon. Pro-tip: if you have a long day of wine tasting ahead of you, the burrito saves very nicely and makes a great in-between winery snack if you don't finish the whole thing at lunch!

The good hit the spot. I had the taco salad and added chicken. I really liked that the salad was topped with sour cream and avocado. I topped it with salsa that was available in the salsa bar. Rudy liked the carne asada, he was surprised how much meat it had.

Great food and customer service. We ordered a chicken quesadilla, chicken taquito combination plate, chicken burrito and carne asada street taco combination. Big portions and great tasting food. Give it a try!

I was craving nachos and Orale Taqueria was one of the places in downtown Paso Robles that has nachos including sour cream and guacamole for under $10. If you wanted around the restaurants in the downtown area, you'll notice that the majority serve food options $15+, so if you want cheaper eats.. just know those are harder to come by. Nachos || $9 Chips topped with refried beans, grilled red bell peppers, grilled onions, cheese, sour cream, and guacamole. The nachos were ok. Nothing too special - don't think this was worth the $9 price tag. Chips tasted a bit stale. Wish there was more cheese or at least a more even distribution of cheese between the chip layers. Taquitos || $10.50 Beef or chicken taquitos plate that comes with rice and beans. Comes with sour cream and guacamole. This dish was on the mediocre as well - good but not memorable. The taquitos were served cut in half, which I thought strange.

Are their rice and beans vegan?

Hi Maddy! Our beans are vegan! The rice contains chicken stock and is not vegan. Hope that helps.

    Do they have margaritas?

Beer and wine only I think. A hard liquor license is hard to get in SLO County.

We found this place on Yelp in Paso Robles, fresh salsa and the taquitos were good nur the carnitas were excellent.

We had the opportunity to do a tasting pre-contract, which I would highly recommend! Tasting the dishes we were thinking of having for our wedding was a leading factor to securing their services. The top 3 reasons why I would hire TVC for catering any event is: communication, flavor, and experience. Sara is a rockstar and we would not have had such a spectacular wedding if it wasn't for her. She goes out of her way to keep the couple informed, responds almost immediately to any and all questions/requests, and is just a wonderful person to be around! From quoting to executing the onsite catering, she is there every step of the way and knows all the important details. For our wedding we selected the below items: Passed apps: ahi poke tacos, mini arancini balls with tomato bisque, and pulled pork cornbread cakes. Given that we were having an outdoor wedding in November, we wanted to have something warm for our guests. Sara provided the creative idea to mix their fabulous arancini balls with a warm soup. It was a huge hit! Salad: Pear salad fit the fall theme perfectly! Mains: Syrah braised short rib and chicken piccata. Both were delicious (short rib was more popular) and we decided to serve family style instead of plated or buffet. This was a great option for us as our guests were able to converse and pass plates around. Food came out hot, which was a critical care about for us! Sides: Potato leek gratin and charred broccolini. The gratin is one of the best potato dishes I've ever tasted. I seriously wish I had this recipe! If I were to change one item, it would have been to sub in something more popular for the charred broccolini. In addition to the great food, TVC provided pie cutting, a water station, and tableside wine services. The package they offer is perfect for your wedding and they are able to take care of any and all needs! Thank you Sara, chef, and team!

I am so upset because I was extremely excited to book this company for my wedding I had been…read moretalking to the owner since January, came up with an entire menu that I am supposed to try next week (planned a whole trip around coming to try it) had a tasting date set, I wrote her now to confirm the tasting and she tells me they are actually booked for my wedding day and another staff member booked the other wedding and didn't tell her.... Mind you we've been talking for 5 months and you didn't realize this? If I didn't reach out I wouldn't have known. How do you have that bad of communication for something like this to happen?! Completely unprofessional. They totally set me back and wasted my time. Work on your organization and communication! Probably a blessing they aren't doing my wedding!!! PS- Even though there was no contract signed yet you guys should have reached out for me and asked for the deposit to hold the date before completely booking someone else especially with a tasting booked and a menu already written up with the proposal. No one asked for a deposit yet. If someone else was interested you should have let me know and then asked for deposit. it was wrong, regardless.
