What truly sets this market apart, though, is the people. The vendors are some of the best you'll ever meet -- kind, honest, hardworking, and genuinely passionate about what they do. I've met some truly wonderful people here, the kind who make you feel connected to the community the moment you arrive. From local organic produce to fresh flowers, honey, mushrooms, handmade jewelry, sourdough bread, and so much more, there's always something special to discover. They also have a few vendors with local crafts, jewelry, soaps etc. One of my favorites was the local peanut butter-- definitely recommend trying a sample from them! It is a dirt lot and can get a bit dusty. It also gets hotter later in the day- I def recommend trying to get in as early as possible for best selection and weather.

Cash accepted on site on Mondays 2-5. Also some produce is sold at the Sunset Beach Elementary Farmers' Market Saturday mornings. There were may food vendors, some crafts, and local produce available to peruse. The variety was nice and the prices reasonable. Everyone was very friendly and I had a great time shopping. My husband and I bought some honey and a number of apple bananas. There is a small seating area where you can enjoy your bounty or simply relax. We walked around the grounds and were entranced by a pair of peacocks hanging out in some very high branches. Due to recent rains, there was a swollen river to sit down by and watch the clouds roll by from under a fantastically large and beautiful tree. The day I came the Pipeline Masters Surfing Championship was also happening so not sure if that would have an effect on vendor attendance. On this particular day however, there were about 15 vendors. I was looking for food and that's all I cared about. One vendor specialized in coffee but I still had a cup in my hand. And one other vendor was serving food cooking it on the spot. Talk about cook to order. One other vendor was dishing out plate lunches. Didn't see anything I liked there. Another vendor specialized in teas like lemon ginger turmeric which I really liked. Didn't notice the other vendors. It's a small quaint market. If you happen to be in the area you may want to check it out. Refill on some of the supplies you may need. People were polite, friendly and nice. You can park inside the location, Sunset Elementary School. Good thing too because cops were giving tickets to everyone parked on the street.

We were greeted by a man, who was the owner and beekeeper. He told us all about his honey and his services. He had 2 sizes of honey, the small one which was about $15 (I forget) and the big one which was $42. He also offered us some fresh limes to take that came from his farm. His stand is so cute. They had a little doggy. They had 2 kitchen sets for kids to play with. There are signs that lead you to his stands. You won't miss it! We love supporting local businesses, especially farmers! Confused at first about how this establishment worked. the guy who was manning the roadside booth…read morethat day was late to open because he was busy with a bee removal. but he was super polite and friendly when he did show up. he did a great job of explaining everything and was very passionate about his work. its a small wood elevated "stand" and you can park right in front, just pull off the side of the road. theres no storefront or shop. and they only had the jarred pure honey on hand. none of the other things that i had seen or read about on other yelp reviews, and it didnt seem like the would ever have any of those things available. honey was super yummy. the do not have bee pollen as they do not "scrub" the bees legs as they go into the hive so no way to harvest that. they do have bee bread available upon request.
