I have a few questions... Why were my flowers delivered a day late? I picked the day of delivery for a REASON. ( I purposefully did NOT allow the 'Flexible Delivery'). Why did the delivery person not knock on the door to drop them off? I got home at 6:15 pm, no box on steps nothing. I go to leave my house at 6:45 pm (30 minutes later) and low and behold there is a big box on my front stoop. Interesting, i was home and no one knocked, called or made their presence known. I understand it was probably the end of the day, the last delivery and all but really? what if I hadnt HAPPENED to leave? would they have lasted over night on my porch? Why was the box so crammed with bubble wrap and packing paper that the 'Live Plant' flowers are smashed and smothered? you can actually SEE indentations in the greenery and the blossoms are crushed. Did you have a 12 yr old pack this because you certainly didnt have a florist do it! I do hope the OTHER order I made of the same item for my Aunt isnt in the same condition. Not up to standards of other florists I have used. I bought in-store a bouquet as a gift. I expected it to be wrapped in clear plastic with a lovely bow arrangement. No bow. And they cut the stems so short as to limit the size of vase the recipient could use. I was in a hurry so I had to take them but will not go back again. Conveniently located on Jericho Turnpike in Syosset, the people here are really friendly and helpful. I came in on short notice before Mother's Day needing to use a gift card . . . as a retail outlet they informed me that they don't usually take corporate cards (a little strange). I then had a nightmarish experience calling the hotline, which said that they couldn't deliver the bouquet that I wanted by Mother's Day, and that I could get a different bouquet in time for a $30 shipping fee. When I went back to tell them this, they were really helpful and offered to take my gift card even though they wouldn't be able to process it. That saved me a lot of time and hassle, and when I picked up the bouquet that I wanted on Mother's Day, it looked great. Very helpful staff! read more

I strongly suggest that no one go to this location and order flowers. They will not give you what you ordered and will refuse to fix it or give the money back in exchange for the flowers. This is a place that I would recommend picking up flowers in person. The ladies at the counter are very sweet but the process of ordering deliveries from them online can be anxiety inducing. They've done good work when I pick up flowers in person in the past but their online system is something of a mess. It's hard to get a hold of them, phone or email. Their delivery for the Mother's Day order I made did pull through, to my relief, but it was impossible to contact them via phone to double check. I think for the sake of security, it's better to go in person to 1-800 and pick something up yourself rather than opt for delivery, but as I mentioned before, so far in my experience, they've done their job well. It would be nice to get some confirmation of the flowers being sent out and delivered but I realize a small shop like this would have trouble dealing with tech notifications. I received flowers for mothers day from 1-800 flowers on Jericho turnpike, Syosset NY on 5/5/20. The arrangement looked as though it was put together by a child who didn't know how to arrange flowers. There was no obvious symmetry or abstract design in the vase in which it was placed. In the past I have received many flower arrangement none of which was in such a disarray. In addition they didn't send any preservative. When I called to ask about the missing preservative I was told that "because of the situation now, we are not sending any preservative but you can add a tsp. of sugar every 2 days when changing the water. I found this to be unacceptable. I would not recommend this florist again. read more

I placed an order for my mothers birthday. I paid extra for the deluxe bouquet which was supposed to include 20 roses. They sent her only 12. When I called and told them they said the delivery man could not get back to her until the end of the day. I told them she would be gone by then. lol.. so my boyfriend ordered me flowers for valentines day. they came, and like other reviews ive read, the flowers were basically all dead. customer service was super nice though and they sent a new batch of flowers- and even let me pick the exact date i wanted them to arrive, since i'd be traveling the week after valentines day. but he just sent me another (mistake) thing of flowers from 1-800.... they were supposed to be tulips. first, the shipping confirmation # that he was given was invalid, so he called customer service and they were no help and basically told him the flowers must have gotten lost in the mail & there was nothing they could do for him. the "tulips" finally arrived at my house but it's a mix of roses, lillies and -the majority of the arrangement- a bunch of little purple weeds. where are the tulips he ordered? this company needs to get their shit together. read more
