I attempted to purchase flowers for my wife who just gave birth at this store. My only mistake was showing up at 4:50pm which was apparently too late for the owner of the store. She immediately tried to shoo me away by telling me I have to buy off the shelf because 5pm is closing time and she has places to be. When I strolled the isle she yelled it's cash only and that 12 roses is $120! The worker were so eager to help me in anyway possible they were great, but as a business owner myself. The flowers looked beautiful, but when I asked the lady how much they were, she told me they don't sell them individually and only offer them as a $65 arrangement. I didn't need an arrangement just a few sunflowers but there was no flexibility at all. They lost me as a customer right there. I ordered a arrangement from a telaflorist that was sent to Heavenly florist. The arrangement was to be in an antique tea cup full of large roses and spray roses with 2 balloons. My arrangement showed up in what looks like a dollar store mug with 6 roses just stuck in it and no balloons. When I called to question this I was told they had to substitute, I totally get that but it should be something of same value and when I questioned that and why no balloons I was told it was the day before mothers day & they were very busy and the manager can not check everything that goes out. Where do I start? With this Despicable Disgusting Inconsiderate and Unprofessional Nasty Rude "Owner" and her insultingly overpriced merchandise at Unheavenly nightmare floral shop. I endured a 20 minute Nightmare trying to order a corsage and boutonniere for my daughters prom. I definitely think something is mentally wrong with this woman who owns this flower shop because I couldn't believe how nasty and aggressive and condescending she was to me when all I wanted to do was come in and spend money in my neighborhood florist. After leaving I changed my mind about ever returning again let alone giving this woman any business because I really believe that the horrible energy would just filter into the corsage and ruin my daughters prom! Myself and several other mothers that were going to be getting corsages from this place will now happily be going elsewhere! ANYWHERE BUT HERE! For starters I was so floored when I saw the price she sells a Rose in a Globe for $49.50. you can buy the exact same thing at ShopRite in Gateway mall for $14.99. Even though I had my mask on when I walked in for some reason as soon as she saw me she had to tell me to make sure I put it up because she's not vaccinated. I don't know did she want me to cover my entire face with the mask? Her entire tone when I was there was so rude and mean. she spoke to me in a condescending patronizing way the entire time. She acted treated me like 1..I owed her money or 2... killed her dog but actually I was definitely just bothering her by coming into her store to spend money! I proceeded to tell her the corsage I wanted. 3 white roses and she then proceeded to brag several times on how she's famous for her corsages and embellishments. Since she was kind enough to go in the back and pull out one embellishment pin I looked at it and said I wasn't sure that was exactly what I wanted in the flowers. It was a big crystal surrounded by other crystals..(I had said I wanted beautiful & elegant) so I said let me show you a picture of her dress, she then says "Oh that's a very busy dress so of course you're going to need a very elaborate corsage to match it, just like if someone had a very plain dress they would have a plain corsage..REALLY?? That sounded so absurd.. and I believe quite the opposite. She then went on to tell me about her impeccable fashion sense, And 3 times mentioned that she's been in this business 40 years. and basically she knows what she's doing and my opinion doesn't matter. She told me that she doesn't know if she can get the normal size roses so if she can't she'll give me "princess" roses which are smaller roses and of course she'll give me more than three if they're smaller, but if I wanted bigger roses I have to order two weeks in advance. (I never mentioned to her that I am also in the floral business and run the department of a major store and I know for a fact it doesn't take two weeks to order roses. and the princess roses she was talking about I sell for $4.69 for three bunches and she was going to charge me over $50.00 for one bunch. Then she told me she was going to be putting some crystals all over my daughters corsage and I said maybe some thing not as loud and she said OK I will do ribbon I can give you Metallic silver.. Metallic silver..OMG! At this point I'm borderline anxiety attack with nausea. A really big turn off was instead of asking me my name she just called me mom. Why is this lady calling me mom? So apparently she wasn't going to ask so I told her my name. I found that absolutely bizarre that some lady in a flower shop taking my order for my teenage daughter's flowers calls me mom instead of asking me my name. So then after all was said and done I had such a disgusting feeling in my stomach but my daughters prom is only a few days away she then said it was $50 and I said I have to pay now? and she said Loudly well yes of course! this is a pre-order everything is paid in advance! I said OK and because she wouldn't be open over the weekend I said I'll come in on Monday to pay for my order and then she Barked.. "Well we only take so many orders I'm gonna be very busy with pick ups on Tuesday so we might be having a cutting off point where we take no more orders!"... It's nice the Witch tried to throw a little scare tactic in there To try and cop a sale. I also forgot to mention when I first walked in there was a sign in big bold letters that said Cash Only! unless you order online, which I would like you to note that it's more expensive to order online than in the store. that $4 dollar rose in a globe that it cost her is $59 on her website. Please do yourself a favor and avoid being angry, frustrated with empty pockets and disappointed. AVOID THIS PLACE!!! I have no idea how this woman stays in business between those high prices and her Horrible Insidious behavior!!! read more

This florist been around for years and I have never been. I decided for my best friends 30th birthday to go with a local spot over one of the online florists. Boy am I glad I did! First off the pricing for an online floral arrangement and shipping would have been the same if not more for what I actual got at Heavenly. Also the online arrangement would have been a lot smaller. I didn't call and order ahead I went in person so I did have to wait about 15-20 minutes for it to be ready but it was definitely worth it. What I liked about in person was I told them what my price range was and what sort of colors and flowers I wanted and didn't want. Something you can't necessarily do with an online order. I don't know if it was included or I was charged extra but there was a mini balloon and these glittery spiral things, which come in a variety for colors (don't know what they are, they're just cute). They also added glitter spray and diamonds to some of the flowers. Super cute and girly. My best friend was surprised and loved them! Highly recommend!! read more

When heading to see a friend at St. John's Cemetery, I came to realize that it's really hard to find a decent place to sell flowers and displays for the deceased. Although this place had some steep prices, I think my friend would have liked what I bought her. They can customize your arrangement with "beloved friend" if you'd like, and they do it up nice to ensure it'll survive the next rain. So unfortunately my mother has COVID and was unable to decorate her mother's grave for Christmas like she does every year, so naturally she asked me to go. I got this gorgeous gorgeous grave blanket from Heavenly Florist. Now at first my mother freaked out about the price ($100) as in Jersey where she goes it's $50 but when she saw this blanket she was amazed. She absolutely loved it. My mother said it was perfect (and she is hard to impress) and needed nothing else as the ones she gets she has to add more decorations to. Additionally the staff was so lovely on the phone and carried this out to my trunk for my husband. I have a feeling I will have to start decorating the graves from here on out! read more

We have been customers for years now, come to them for almost all occasions until today. I understand everyone is on edge b.c of the pandemic but this was no way to treat a paying customer. I placed a Mother's Day order on Friday for pick up today at 10 am, they were scheduling specific times so that we can social distance. When I arrived there at exactly 10 am there were two other people before me so I waited patiently once the person ahead of me left I approached the door and the lady pointed from inside to a sign that said to placed orders by 1230 and curbside pick up only, I paid no mind to it since I had a 10am pick up ( I was clearly told not to come earlier or later to interfere with others picking up) and was clearly picking outside. She opened the door and rudely told me to back up even more! So at this point I'm shouting so she can hear me " I am picking up my order for 10am"and told her my name, she proceeded by saying that they are handing out last nights orders and I have to call, I repeated that I was told to come in at 10 for a pick up that I placed on Friday for today, once again she pointed at the sign and closed the door. I am a very patient person so waited again and also b.c I had already paid for it which by the way was super over priced. She opened the door again and said I had to call in my order and pick up after 12:30.I asked to just cancel my order and process my return b.c I was not coming back later this is ridiculous, then I heard the employee from the counter say "is that Lucy?" and I shouted yes! Went here tonight to pick up a birthday bouquet for my mom and was very pleased with the bouquet they made. I asked the woman behind the counter for a bouquet with some roses and sunflowers and she put together a gorgeous arrangement! I love the diamonds on the roses! I even like the feathers and I'm usually not into that. She also put a beautiful decoration with small fresh flowers on the outside packaging where she tied it with straw. I've never seen anything like that before, it was very pretty and added a nice touch! A lot of thought and detail was put into it which I appreciated. This place is not so heavenly. Went in for what I thought was going to be beautiful bouquet of flowers since I was proposing that day. I'll admit I'm a guy so I didn't know to much about flowers. But I asked for some roses in a bouquet when they were done the final product was a very small $20 bouquet. I asked it if we could maybe add more flowers in it I didn't mind paying more for bigger bouquet. The lady said "no this is what you asked for". I was surprised who wouldn't want to take more money from a customer. As I was paying I was getting an attitude from her. So I simply said can I just have my money back. I've previously ordered from HF. I ordered again because they did a creative job on arrangements despite the unwelcoming, unauthentic and condescending attitude of the owners. I ordered a $250 arrangement for my future Mother-in-Law for mother's day May 13 & a birthday arrangement for my best friend May 14. I chose these particular arrangements from a selection of photos offered on their online website. Ordering online was easier than dealing with them on the phone. What was received was grossly misrepresentative of what I ordered. I expected a classy & simple arrangement of spring flowers including peonies and got gaudy and distasteful arrangement of roses and filler. I was mortified at what I saw! The arrangement came in cellophane with a gigantic white feather boa attached to it! I imagine feather boas at drag queen shows not Mother's Day flowers! I have zero confidence at what will arrive tomorrow. Tomorrow's arrangement is a hat box with peonies that is due to arrive to my best friends place of work. How embarrassing if another distasteful arrangement arrives. I would give this 0 stars if I could for the bait and switch tactic this website & local business provided. I was willing to pay the overly inflated holiday price but $400 for this? I advise customers to beware of what you're ordering. HF has lost a long time customer. I want to cancel tomorrow's order and there is no method for me to do this on their website or through the order confirmation. I've attached photos so fellow yelpers can make their own decision on whether I'm complaining or have a valid case against HF. Completely disappointed. Next time I'll go to Trader Joe's, purchase flowers and make my own arrangements which would be more cost effective and successful then what I received. I was unsure of what kind of flowers I wanted and they took the time to show me several different flower arrangements. I needed a centerpiece for an anniversary party and the end result was beyond my expectations!!! Every person at the party complemented me on the arrangement. I thought the price was great because my flowers look great. This shop is not your everyday flower shop the work they produce is over the top unique. First off my banker referred me to this place. I had some reservations when I walked in the door because it was not fancy at all. When I told the lady I was thinking about ordering flowers on-line she told me even if I didn't use her please don't order on-line. Anyway I order 3 different arrangements for my dads funeral.
