Needed to schedule a spontaneous furniture haul on Saturday. Spoke to Claudette and got an opening within the next two hours. She sent a confirmation email, which triggered a call from Nick, who told me that they were going to drive to the house after disposing of an earlier junk haul. Nick called again when they were on the way and gave an ETA for arrival. On time, Nick and D'Angelo were very courteous and efficient in their work. An estimate was provided before they started. When everything was loaded, the actual volume amount was 1/8 less which meant a cheaper cost than quoted. The entire process was very professional and extremely customer friendly. I needed to get rid of stuff from my parent's condo (bed, desk, lazyboy, cabinetry). Made an appointment online. Got a call back to confirm the appointment. Got a call the day previous to the pickup day to confirm. On the day, got a call before they arrived. Mike and Cary arrived. They gave me the estimate based on volume it will take up in the truck (1/2 load, $560 including tax). Pricing wise, it is not cheap, but the convenience of having someone else do the removal can't be beat. This was especially true for my parent's condo which was built in the 1970s with no thought to moving. I have been working with Shawn for a few projects over the past few months: cleaning out a storage locker, clearing a few homes and lastly helping breakdown and remove a rusted old shed. On July 26, 2017 Got Junk came to our work faciity to give an estimate of how much it would cost us to get rid of the itmes we had. The price was steep for all the stuffs we had but we worked it out to just have them take the heavy items at a reasonable price. The 2 gentlemen who came were Andru and ? (Haole & a Polynesian young men). They were both so helpful and strong to lift that heavy cement filing cabinet we had. They came for an estimate but ended up removing our junk. We had a lot of moving materials to dispose of and needed it hauled away as soon as possible. Both Shawn & Alfred were very responsive, friendly, and honest. They took a look at what I needed hauled, gave me an estimate based on how much room it would take up in the truck and I agreed to the price. They got to work and were done in about 20 minutes. Yesterday, I asked them to help，to remove some junk . They arrived and then looked at it. Explain to me that the standard for their charges is calculated according to the space occupied by my items. I have a sofa, a small bed, and a dressing table. obviously on their phone, there are the price of their charges, and they have a random stroke. He told me more than four hundred from , my junk, only four pieces could take half space of their truck ?. It makes me feel very unprofessional, as if the price is arbitrarily adjusted by their employees, it has nothing to do with the space occupied by my items. And the short films I saw on their commercials, the staff on the ads obviously placed items, and many items took up very little space. Never recommend this company, because I don't really think there's standard how they supposed charge to a customer read more

Clearing out by parents' home was overwhelming and daunting. Over the last 50 years, they managed to accumulate so much stuff. I decided at 6:00 am to check online for available appointments. Perfect. There was an opening at 9:00 am. Lyle and Luke called to confirm and was on location at 8:50. They filled almost the entire truck with a piano, tables, file cabinets, dressers, bookshelves, entertainment centers, and a bunch of bags and boxes. Lyle and Luke were professional, respectful, and pleasant. Lyle even mentioned that he liked his job and enjoyed helping others. 1-800-GOT-JUNK was a godsend. Aloha! I can't say enough about Shawn and Matt. They were nothing short of amazing... in every way! We had a tenant issue and needed to have 2 1/2 dump trucks of true junk removed! His customer service skills are at its best. He was courteous and respectful. My appointment was at 2:30pm and he was already at the front door by 2pm. He was one man show. Way more expensive than quoted but nice service by the movers. My wife was originally quoted over the phone for $150 saying that it'd be a small load. She even specified what was being moved but they stuck to the $150 quote on the phone. Wound up being $500 which was way more than other local companies. Very polite and efficient movers, quick because everything was prepped. But ultimately the company lied over the phone and took my wife for a ride on the price because she was alone and desperate to move the stuff out. read more

I would not recommend this company to anyone. We hired 800 Got Junk to remove an upright piano from our condo unit. They did not know what they were doing and not only they damaged the wall of our unit, but also the hallway as well as some pavement in the parking lot of the condo. The resident manager of our condo contacted them and they said that they would come back to fix the damage but never did. It has been more than 2 years but the damage are still there. read more
