I see the owner has replied to my review. I would like to point out that I have already spoken to someone over a year ago regarding my experience. I was apologized to and told that someone else would be in touch to offer me a refund or a credit or some kind of compensation. That phone call never came. So while I appreciate the owner reaching out upon their discovery of Yelp (a service that has been popular for many, many years), my opinion of this company has not and will not change, especially after having had discussions with other people who were burned by them as well. Hired them to empty my aunt's apartment. Estimate was for 4 truckloads. Ended up taking 2 days and 6 truckloads. I questioned why the estimate was so wrong and hoped for some resolution, but never heard back from anyone. Paid over $6,000!! A cleaning crew came today and found lots of small items on the floor (which I was charged extra to remove!), a large cabinet left in a bedroom, and multiple articles in a bathroom. I now have to arrange to have this all removed and the lease ends tomorrow! I am furious and will never use or recommend 1-800 got junk ever again! Extremely disappointing! read more

They moved 3 large furniture items okay, but a bit pricey and they broke a window doing so

Extremely expensive and felt misleading. They have extra charges for everything. They quoted me one price, but arrived with some of their prior visits junk inside their truck already. Basically it cost me almost 600 for less than 2/8 full of my stuff. Never again ! Many cheaper options out there! read more

We called 1-800-got-junk to get help clearing out a house that had accumulated an unbelievable amount of things over the years - broken (heavy) furniture, old electronics, construction waste, etc. Jeremy, Sebastien, and Jonathan came and took everything away. It was that simple. They were professional, super nice and easy going, and respectful of the house and possessions. They were careful to make sure they took away exactly the right things. We used 1-800-Got Junk for clearing out the demolition junk. We had a really bad experience. I called in advance and I was assured that they would come equipped to pick up the debris from the demo. All they had was a broom! They did not lift any bags, so they damaged the floors. When they left the street was full of junk. What a messy job they did! I called the company and they said they were sorry (that is all!). There are great alternatives to 1-800-Got Junk, so I would strongly recommend you use another company. read more
