We were stranded on a long road trip when things went sideways with our van, and they were willing to work with us to get us back on the road in record time. Every other shop I called grumbled and complained, but these guys were different - instead of complaints, they worked with us to find a solution. I can't thank them enough for their gracious flexibility and family-like nature with their customers. This is what a good mechanic is all about, someone who cares at a personal level, takes the time to do the work right the first time, and does it with a smile no less. If you're looking for someone who you can trust with your vehicles, these guys are the answer, hands down. I wish we lived in the area so we could use them as our go-to mechanic for all of our vehicles.

I needed a new wiring harness installed on my truck for my camper and my neighbor recommended Titan. I called and they got me in two days later (faster than I have seen). They are very busy BUT made time to rap with me and told me it would take 1.5 hours to finish if I wanted to wait. At exactly that time it was done. There is a nice waiting area with Keruig and water, tv, and good seating. When I went to pay, I was expecting to pay around $300 and the bill was $250. I will be using Titan again! He responded to my emails in a timely fashion, admitted there was room for U-Haul to improve and made things right with us. Any company can have a bad day,. In my book, what counts is whether there is sufficient character to admit it and go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. Mr Decker did that and we will return as U-Haul customers with a restored level of confidence in the local manager and the company.

Took wife's 2011 Tahoe in for Check engine light and Stabilitrack and Traction control lights on…read morethe dash. OBD reader at home indicated cylinder 1 misfire with rough engine idling and lower power. I figured I'd give them a shot since it's right down the street from my house. After $130 diagnostic charge, I was told the vehicle had a lifter problem with possibly damaged camshaft and needed significant engine repairs up to complete replacement with an estimated $8000+ cost for the job. Thank God I didn't have the money laying around and got a second opinion. I'm not even sure they did anything for the diagnostic charge of $130 because a second opinion at True North Automotive in post falls discovered a fouled plug. After several other regular maintenance fixes it saved me over $7000 to fix the wife's vehicle. Would not recommend this shop to anyone. Always get a second opinion.

KO is the way to go…read more I first read about Kris Osheim when I was researching my Toyota MR2. Enthusiasts wrote about him glowingly in their online sales ads. When I called KO Racing I was asked who I had purchased the car from--a sign that this shop was a primary hub of the local MR2 scene. I'd acquired mine out of state and desired an evaluation. Kris looked at every last detail during his inspection, took it for a shakedown and put it up on the dynamometer, adjusting the spark a bit so it ran a lot smoother. He graciously demonstrated what he could do to the car to enhance its performance and we discussed some modifications before I decided to keep it stock for the time being. At another juncture Kris kindly helped another shop diagnose an intake problem that I was having. Some time later I needed to replace my turbocharger and after going over the options he installed one of his own units after testing the engine, replaced some other components which are known to fail, replaced my exhaust system and tuned my car for a serious increase in horsepower. An already magnificent vehicle seemed twice as capable as before. At all times Mr. Osheim has been knowledgeable and fair-minded, generous of his time and expertise and extremely patient and professional. His shop is marvelously well-equipped. His brother is an ace mechanic as well. But Kris is The Master. His services are sought by owners of high performance vehicles all over the country and internationally. One would be hard-pressed to attend a meetup of MR2 owners without finding his products in their cars or his name or that of his business on their lips. This expertise means that he is not always as available as everyone would like due to scheduling, and the impatient don't always realize this. But I do, and I rejoice that he's local. If you have a high-performance vehicle and particularly if it's a Toyota MR2, look no further than KO Racing. The prices are fair and everything is done right the first time. You have to pay to play--but this is one place where you won't get played.

It is quite a luxury to feel confident in the guys who fix my cars. I noticed they always show me what they pulled out of there, which is nice because it helps me understand what went on with the mechanical failure. One time, I pulled the tranny out of my truck and replaced the clutch. I couldn't get the tranny back in, so I put all the parts in the back of the truck, had it towed to Autodoc, and Cory and them put it back together for me! LOL
