As a loyal Ford customer, retired Ford employee, and Medallion Elite Alumni, encountering someone like this is a deterrent. It wasn't until after I mentioned my resume that she called someone to get further advice. I had had enough of the encounter and departed the service department. I jumped in my car and found another Ford dealership, which was super helpful in providing me with the much-needed Battery.

I found another dealer with a newer truck for 200 dollars more, so obviously I went there. They low balled my trade, added thousands of dollars to the deal and I left. Called Brandon from the parking lot and told him if he could give me a certain amount for my trade and tell me the fees, i would come buy the truck right then. He called me back in 10 minutes, said he could do the price I asked. He did not tell me the truck was an XLT which is the top trim level. We were in and out in 2 hours. The guys at Ron Andersons got us a tow, put 2 guys on the job (they about to close) and got us out the door safely in 3 hrs! They were already very busy for a saturday and were even working on another couples vehicle that broke down just b4 us. They really did a great job of making us a priority and giving that little bit extra to a couple of very nervous travelers (we've all heard of those horrible stories from other people breaking down on some road several states away from home)! Amelia Auto Mart (Brandon) went above and beyond today. I bought a 2005 Lexus from them a few weeks…read moreago. Today, my son called me from the side of the road and told me that the car started smoking through the vents and all of the lights on the dash were on. He opened the hood, and there wasn't any kind of smoke, but the car would not start. I instructed him to call the tow truck that came with our warranty that I purchased through my credit union. Then, I called Amelia Auto Mart to let them know the tow would be coming there so they weren't surprised. The surprise was on me! Brandon went TO my son (about 10 miles away--something like that), drove my son to school so he wouldn't be any later, checked the car and noticed some hoses had come out of place, fixed them, test drove the car, and parked it in a safe parking lot close by for my son to get later. He then called me to tell me all was well. I am beyond grateful that he went above the call of duty and ensured my son's safety. My guess is that the hoses came out of place on a very Dukes of Hazzard like jump that you have to go over when you cross the main road (A1A). Dang construction... I thought nothing could surprise me about this wonderful company until today.
