They leave me on hold so long it's ridiculous. Pick up every few minutes and say "I'm sorry who are you holding for" then on hold again then same thing. Once you DO get the car in service people are very nice. They don't always get my car back when promised but it IS always done right. read more

Our 2019 Suburban lost the pully from the water pump on I-95 just outside Jacksonville. We we're headed to the mountains of NC (a 9 hr drive from Port Canaveral). The guys at Ron Andersons got us a tow, put 2 guys on the job (they about to close) and got us out the door safely in 3 hrs! They were already very busy for a saturday and were even working on another couples vehicle that broke down just b4 us. They really did a great job of making us a priority and giving that little bit extra to a couple of very nervous travelers (we've all heard of those horrible stories from other people breaking down on some road several states away from home)! Our truck broke down while on a trip in their area. They were accommodating getting us in and fixing our problem. We asked them to contact our extended warranty company to help with the service. They told us the extended warranty would not cover it and charged us the full amount for the service. We contacted our extended warranty ourselves only to discover they had never contacted them at that time. Later it was a battle between dealer and us and warranty company, it took over a month to resolve the issue. We had very difficult time getting responses from the service department management. We will not use this dealer in the future. read more

I attempted to have the tires replaced on my C8 corvette here as the wires were showing and it was unsafe to drive, as well as get an oil change and alignment. Once the dealer had the tires, I left my car on Wednesday at 9:00 am and never got an update, so I called at 5:00 and they reported the oil change was done, tires were not on and they would call back at 5:30. At 6:30 I got a text that the tires were not on. I had to work the next 2 days and they do not have loaner cars, but use enterprise which closes at 5:00. I was left with an unsafe car and no car to get to work in. They also left the car parked with the front lift up and didn't reset the oil life percentage. Fast forward to Saturday, despite my intuition I left my car again at 9:00 am. At 2:30 I get a text that my car has aftermarket rims and the ordered tires won't fit. They are stock wheels, so I pressed them further and they admitted they actually ordered the wrong tires and tried to cover up the error by blaming my rims. At this point I picked up my car and left, I will not be returning to this dealership for any future needs and strongly encourage others to go elsewhere. read more

I went in for a transmission shutter and they knew I wasn't going to buy a transmission for 8000 dollars. So they sold me a torque converter for 3000 and they said lucky you can in because we caught it soon enough it could have been a transmission repair. They knew that the torque converter was not the issue. Knowing this I will bring back the truck. Now this is where the dealership that wanted me along!!!. Now they want me to buy a transmission. For 8000 after they took me for 3000.. For a total of 11000.00 dollars. Go hit pavement!! And just think they wanted to charge me 200 for a diagnostic charge. Again I told they I wasn't paying another dime. They were so kind to knock it down to 75.00 dollars. And I asked Josh the ass. Service manager if he didn't hear me. I said I wasn't going to pay a dime. After about 30-45 minutes with the paperwork coming to the service desk. Then they hand me my keys!! Do go to this dealership!!! I have been to this dealership several times. Each time I have faced delays in scheduling and now I am staring at an incompetent repair. I came here for a simple tire rotation, balance, alignment and oil change. They aligned it wrong and failed to flash the computer control module such that I immediately got a dashboard warning that the tire monitors were not working. I am a business executive and attorney. I had to delay important meetings and clients in order to bring the vehicle back the next day for a multiple hours "redo" of what should have been done correctly the first time. No more. On April 14th I had an appointment at Ron Anderson Chevrolet at 1:30pm to have some issues with my truck diagnosed. When arriving to this appointment I was told that the time was just to show up but not the time my truck would be looked at. I sat there for 3 hours and my truck had not even been taken back. I then was told I could bring it back in the morning on Saturday. I brought my truck in at 8:30am and did not get in back until 5:30pm. In this time frame I received no answers. I had asked them to diagnose an issue with my brakes being spongey and not working properly and specifically requested that they bleed them. They told me that they bled them and that there are no issues with the brakes at all and that they drove it, which is alarming because these brakes do not feel like any other truck I have driven of the same make and model. I also asked that they diagnose an issue with my AC to which I was told that there is "probably a leak." I asked where the leak was and they said they didn't know. The last issue I requested to be inspected was for the air bag light being on. They told me that they didn't have the master mechanic in and that I would have to bring it back. I was very discouraged and disappointed because I received no real answers or diagnoses for my truck, especially the most concerning issue- the brakes. Throughout the week my brakes got worse and worse. The ABS was randomly coming on when trying to brake and then I lost all brake pressure and the fluid drained out on Monday April 24th which was scary. I was driving a truck with no brakes. I called them and they said that it wasn't their fault and that they didn't touch my truck with a wrench. I then asked how they bled the brakes without touching it with a wrench and they said that they have never bled them. I was told that they were bled and asked multiple times. I asked to speak to a manager to get some answers and they said he would call. I waited all day and did not receive a call so I called in. Josh was the manager that I was connected to and my experience just continued to decline. He started the conversation in a very sarcastic and demeaning tone and talked to me like I didn't know anything and was stupid. Being a single female, I understand maybe I don't know everything there is to know about trucks but I am educated and not naïve. I do not know if he would be speaking to a man that same way. He said there wasn't a wrench put on your truck and they didn't do anything wrong and was very defensive. All I was asking was why weren't the brakes bled when I was told they were and requested that specifically. He said well they were not bled and I don't know why you were told that and any real mechanic knows that they don't need to be bled and that there was nothing wrong with the brakes. I then explained again that they were mushy and I wanted them bled and he continued to belittle me and tell me nothing was there fault. All I wanted to know at this point, regardless of my recent brake failure, was why they were not bled as requested and told. He then began escalating the conversation and yelling at me saying that whoever else was working on my truck must not know what they are doing and screwed it up and I told him that no one has touched it since I left the dealership. My brakes were having issues during the time that they told me they were fine. At this point, I was almost in tears because of his aggressive and rude tone and the things he was saying. I asked to speak to someone above him because this clearly was not being resolved and he said in a very sarcastic tone that they wouldn't be available until Monday, which was a week from when I was calling. I am wondering if that message will even be relayed. I am not one to usually write reviews but I do not want anyone to have to endure what I did. I spent $146 to be told nothing was wrong only to have my brakes go out within a week and be yelled at and belittled. After taking it to another mechanic it turns out the master cylinder was bad which fixed the mushy brake problem and there was a leak in the line. Regardless if the leak was there before taking it there or not the master cylinder problem was there and should have been diagnosed. Hopefully this review saves some people the aggravation and frustration that I went through. Well I never received a call from the upper management. I have tried to take some time to reflect but I am still deeply disturbed by this and want to post this to warn others and try to save them from a terrible experience and financial loss, along with emotional distress. read more

First I want to brag on Cole P our salesperson. It was our first time visiting a Chevy lot and he made us feel welcomed. He gave us our space to look around and if needed he was there to assist. We wasn't commuted to purchase but we told him well be back. His attitude didn't change he said thank you and never pressured us in to anything. Well we returned the next day and only wanted to work with him. He was able to get us the car we wanted and even with possibility of walking away his attitude never changed. I have come to rely on Service Manager Josh Singh and Service Consultant Cam Williams who have sometimes gone above and beyond to make sure any service or repairs were done expeditiously so I could always get to work or enjoy the weekend. Recently, on the weekend of my birthday I purchased a NEW 2020 Chevy Traverse with some help from 'Duffy', salesman extraordinaire, and was thrilled to receive the deal I wanted. I HAD to have the FUEL PUMP MODULATOR replaced and this was the nearest place to get it done. After 6 weeks of waiting for the part, I emailed the CEO of GM about it and two days later the part was in. Now my truck isn't running right, and they want me to pay them to diagnose it AGAIN. I paid them once already knowing it was the fuel pump modulator because I paid $100 in Ky where it was first diagnosed. I waited 3 hours for them to tell me it was the FUEL PUMP MODULATOR. THEY put the pump in and now the truck is hesitating and they won't just take the truck in to see what is going on? I took it to St Augustine today to the place I bought it from and they wanted $250 to diagnose. AND this Chevy dealer is the worst. I felt Ron ANderson would do a better job. A LOT OF DRIVING on my part to get this thing fixed right and still, nothing. WTH is wrong with our world people? Unless I get a call directly from RON ANDERSON himself, this place needs to be avoided. You don't keep charging people when the mechanics are the problem. James was my customer service guy and he was awesome, but the place isn't run well at all. read more

Our water pump went out on our Yukon. Traveling from PA to Naples, FL. We stopped @ a pilot gas station, and our hood was smoking with a grinding noise. We stopped at two auto zones, to put coolant in the car. Went to Ron Anderson Chevrolet, and they were very receptive. Since we did not have an appointment, we had to wait, but they were able to accommodate us. Everyone was professional, polite, and gave us updates continuously. This has been my service experience. I emailed several area Chevrolet dealers to check prices on a specific routine service. All of them responded, except Ron Anderson. What I did get immediately from Ron Anderson was someone hounding me via email to buy a car. I also got put on their mailing list to purchase a car. No response about my service question. This should have been the first red flag. I called Ron Anderson service dept. The receptionist answers, transfers me to service, where it rings and rings. Then it rings some more. This happened several times over the course of a couple weeks on different days and at different times- no answer. Once it rang for over 15 minutes with no answer. Once I got through, asked for my advisor, waited ten minutes before being told he was away and transferred to his voicemail. I left a voicemail and wasn't called back. I finally got through to someone, miraculously, and got a quote. I specifically asked for an "out the door" quote for the service. It was slightly lower than the others so I made the appointment. I had the service done, only to find that they had tacked on exorbitant shop and miscellaneous fees they didn't mention when they quoted me making it more than another dealerships quote. Whatever. For my latest service appointment, it is for a lifetime warranty item that needs to be replaced again. I called to be sure of the details and again, played phone roulette. More calls, more holds with no answer, more unreturned calls over a couple weeks. Another unreturned voicemail. So I made an appointment online. On the day of my appointment, it was a day before a hurricane was possibly coming (which ended up not coming). I drove the 50 minutes to get there to find the dealership sandbagged and closed. The dealership next door was open, it looked busy, but here I was at Ron Anderson where nobody bothered to call and say they would be closed and sandbagged. I drove an hour and a half round trip for absolutely nothing because nobody at Ron Anderson could pick up a phone to let customers know they would be closed. Like an idiot, I tried to reschedule, and here I am again playing the phone game, waiting on hold for service. I tried to get an email for the service manager to relay all this, or an email for the general manager. They apparently have walled themselves off from contact with customers. An online search, or a search of their website lists nothing unless you want to call and listen to the phone ring. But if you want to BUY a car, there is PLENTY of contact info. They will call and email the **** out of you if you are buying a car. So I'll post it here, so they can give a canned response to say how "sorry they are that I had this experience" with an audience behind me, since that is the only way you can get any kind of response or interaction from their service department. I can't imagine if I left my car there for service and I wanted to get an update or status on it. Go ahead, try to call service right now and see what you get. What a mess. Took my truck for oil change and battery replacement. I dropped off truck the afternoon before my 7:30am appointment. The truck was supposed to get a tire rotation with the oil change. The tire were not rotated so at this point I am not confident that they even changed my oil. I will be taking it to another dealer to make sure the oil is changed at my expense. I was also billed incorrectly for the service I was not provided( except the battery, it was replaced) however to there credit they called the next day to get my card number to issue my a refund on the additional money I was charged. I have yet to see any refund. This is not a trustworthy service department. My experience with car dealers is if the have a quality service department the rest of the dealership will also be on point. I will not be purchasing anything from Ron Anderson Chevrolet. read more

It doesn't thrill me to post this business review, I don't like to bad mouth businesses, but I had an experience that, although it may have been the policy of the business it was lousy and rather underhanded. The business in question is Ron Anderson Chevrolet in Yulee. I've been in the market for a Jeep and my daughter and I made a special trip to Yulee yesterday to see the vehicle. After driving it, I committed to purchasing it. I already secured the financing on my own. I had to get my daughter back to Jax Beach for a class so I offered to pay the dealer $500 dollars to hold it for a few hours while I took my daughter to her class and picked up the check. My wife is ill and I didn't want her to drive me to Yulee. As my Uber was pulling in front of my house to pick me up the dealer called me to tell me someone was looking at the Jeep and in no uncertain terms if the other person bought it I was put of luck. I explained to them I have a 25K check in my hand and am on my way to purchase the vehicle. Their answer to me, "I told you 'bro", it's first come first serve. Quite professional. Now, had I not committed to purchase or hadn't tried to give them $500 to hold the Jeep for a few hours I would have completely understood. What they did was simply rotten, unethical, and just shitty business practices. Thankfully, Beaver Toyota is St Augustine is helping me out and so far I'm thrilled with the experience with Beaver Toyota. As for Ron Anderson, beware. Their actions show they do not care about real customer service, loyalty, or simply being a "good person". They lost me as a customer. read more

I have a 2015 Impala in pristine condition. I've taken my car into a Chevy dealer for all maintenance. My car had some paint damage during the hurricane that insurance covered and I took it to Ron Anderson to get the work done. They did a great job! I'm coming up on the 36,000 warranty end so I took it into Ron Anderson for what I considered warranty work. All other contacts there had always been professional and courteous. The representative that I saw this time,Lincoln, was dismissive and condescending. Finally, after 2 months of follow-ups with no return calls, I contacted GM. I'll continue to work with them until this is resolved. In the meantime...stay away from Ron Anderson. (Particularly Lincoln) read more

Sister-n-law's suv was towed in cause it stopped. come to find out it was a o2 sensor.. Service tech was very rude when we was told that he recommends this and that to total out of pockets more then 900.00. mind you suv has less then 70k miles on it and its not due for all this. He got butt hurt after she said no to fix the issues thats covered under the warranty that was paid for. Said suv would be fixed and ready in a few hrs.. Go to get it and of course now the check engine light is on... I'm not that smart but, if 1 o2 sensor goes shouldn't you replace them both??? I wouldn't trust these people with my kids... Trust take your Chevys to GA or Jax to get fixed and done right.. read more

I brought my car in twice for a check engine light which was not totally resolved after second visit. I called Josh the service Dept mgr the next day and he made everything right. He picked the vehicle up from my home, identified and fixed problem. He also was very courteous, cleaned my vehicle and filled it up with gas and a free oil change for next time. This is the way to treat your customers when they've had multiple issues not resolved. Great customer service. Way to go read more

I purchased some optional equipment for my Yukon XL through their parts department a week earlier and made an appointment to have it installed by the service department. When making the service appointment they asked if I would be waiting for the installation and I replied "yes." When I arrived 1/2 hour early for my appointment I was told I should not wait for my vehicle since they did not know when they might get my car in for service. I explained that I had no choice, since I came alone and only had one car there. I reminded them that I had the appointment and was told it would take no more than 1 and 1/2 hours to complete the work. They told me a second time not to wait and I repeated that I had no way of going anywhere. I had no choice at that point. I had to wait. They told me a third time not to wait and that they could not say when they might get to my vehicle. At that point, I decided to walk back to the parts department, pick up my order and go home to install the parts myself. Ron Anderson's Service Department apparently does not understand the definition of any of these words: 1) Appointment 2) Customer 3) Service I found the service rep to be rude and not at all concerned that they were not going to honor the appointment time that I had made earlier. How much they were about to inconvenience me was not their concern. This is the sorriest experience I have ever had at a GM dealer. I suppose there is a good reason that www.GMC.com did not list their dealership as one of my choices for parts installation. I will not return. read more

Terrible service dept. They don't perform the service you request when you bring your car in. Requested an alignment on a new Buick Cascada multiple times because it was pulling to the right. Service dept. stated that GM does not allow them to perform an alignment on that car for the first 12,000 miles. At 14,000 miles they agreed to do an alignment at my expense however at that point the tires were worn irregularly with flat spots i.e. cupping, ~ and as a result all 4 tires need to be replaced. Dearership's statement to us was "you didn't buy your car here, and we didn't make any money on it - so take it back to where you bought it for service". End of story... Have registered a complaint with GM Corporate and we have been speaking to Mary Bara's office regarding our problem. We need 4 replacement tires which are going to cost $1500.00. **Someone from Ron Anderson responded to this post** - whoever you are - I suggest you review your records regarding our Buick Cascada issues as you will know exactly who we are. We chose to use your service department even though we didn't purchase the car at your dealership - that doesn't matter - warranty issues are honored at any GM / Buick dealership when you purchase a new vehicle. You have serious problems with your service team...our car was not aligned properly which destroyed all 4 tires . Please step up and do the right thing.... read more

Would not recommend. We bought a 2014 GMC Terrain 3 days ago, 10 minutes after getting it home, sitting in the driveway activating the OnStar we notice a 1 inch crack in the windshield (slightly hidden by the sun visor.) When I called the following morning and spoke with our salesman (who we really liked), first thing he said was "Oh wow, that wasn't there the other day".....well I can assure you, it didn't happen on the 3 mile drive home. He called me back after speaking with his Sales Manager, and said his manager suggests we claim it on our insurance. Hmmmmm, bad business guys, bad business. That same evening when we got the vehicle home, I went online and spent $60.00 to order a key Fob so the rear lift gate would work. (Our salesman suggested it the day we test drove, saying, "this key Fob here, doesn't have it, but it's real easy to order online. So I did. Tonight, going through the 180 page manual, I discover this vehicle doesn't have an automatic rear lift gate! Again, Bad Business guys! It is Saturday night, and I can't contact them until Monday morning regarding the NON EXISTANT lift gate, but I'm pretty sure I know what the answer will be........ I will update this post if they make it right, but I'm not holding my breath. I would shop elsewhere. read more

THEY CHOOSE TO NOT DO THEIR JOB PROFESSIONALLY AND CORRECTLY. DO NOT GO HERE FOR MAINTENANCE ON A VEHICLE YOU REMOTELY CARE ABOUT. Went here for some repairs on my headlights/signal lights. Replaced them with cheaper after market parts, fine. BUT: For some reason, the guys installing the lights though it was ok to have them point to a spot about 7 feet ahead of the car. And they didn't bother to ensure that the lights were all properly aligned and secured firmly. So, this is like... their job, right? I spent a really fun 20 mile drive on I-95 unable to see anything farther than 10 feet ahead of the car one night, because I didn't couldn't detect this mistake until I was already driving home. Quite literally, they could have gotten me killed. BECAUSE THEY DECIDED NOT TO DO THEIR JOB PROPERLY. I'm a nice guy, so I didn't go in yelling and screaming, but I was unhappy that they decided to not properly ensure the lights were installed correctly. Also, they charged me for the "courtesy car." I'm not sure where they get off doing that, but it seems that if you are taking my car for repairs that you failed to do right the first time, maybe you should absorb that cost. They also tell you that the car is free. read more

I recently bought a new GMC Sierra 1500 from Ron Anderson Chevy, Buick, GMC and could not be happier with my experience. I live in Pensacola and happened to be in Yule on business. I passed the dealership and saw a truck that I really liked so I turned around and went into the dealership to see the vehicle. I had no intention of buying that day but I fell in love and got a great price. I told the sales manager Doug that I had to be done in an hour and he said that would be no problem. He was true to his word and had me on my way in just under an hour. Great people and great service!! I highly recommend them. read more
