On the continued search for our go-to Chinese food spot, we may have found it. China One has online ordering and in-store pickup which is very convenient for us considering they're a short drive away. We ordered fried dumpling, wonton soup, egg drop wonton mix soup, Moo Goo Gai Pan, Vegetable Chow Mein, Beef and Broccoli, and Sweet and Sour Chicken. It wasn't quite ready upon pickup but we did order a lot. Everything was in the bag except they forgot the chow mein noodles, so it was just the brothy vegetables for that meal. The restaurant is very much what I remember in the 90's. The menu with pictures on the wall have lost their color, there are a few tables and chairs inside, and almost zero decor. It's nostalgic; all they need are almond cookies (where are the almond cookies around here?!) The food was delicious and gave us exactly what we were looking for...comfort. The fried dumplings were phenomenal and I'd honestly stop by just for those. China One is Americanized Chinese food, of course, but it's very good! The fried rice is subpar and needs seasoning, something all of the Chinese restaurants we've been to here in TN so far, have in common. If we don't find our go-to Chinese place, we are more than satisfied with China One being it! read more

My husband and I ate there Wednesday late afternoon and shared a bit with our 10 month old. We've had SEVERE food poisoning ever since. I wound up in the ER because of it and our little one was throwing up the whole time we were in there too. I tried to call them today, just to let them know (I'm not mad, just wanted to keep others from getting sick) and she hung up on me the first time and then just kept saying No! no! no! NO! when I called the second time. Tried to tell her we weren't mad, just didn't want others sick and that they need to check on whatever chicken they use for their teriyaki chicken and again she just kept saying no and then hung up on me again. Delicious and freshly made to order. Take out only. My egg roll was piping hot. My pork with mushroom was freshly made. The mushrooms still had plenty of tensile structure, and the snow peas were crunchy. Completely surprised by the quality. read more

My daughter and I have been looking forward to this place opening as it's very close to the house and we love enjoying Chinese food together. Tonight we were on our own for dinner so we decided to stop in. I ordered chicken egg foo young and some egg drop soup. Guess I was in the mood for eggs. My daughter decided on the sesame chicken. We then split an order of crab rangoons and shared an order of chicken lo mein. All of the dishes were served in generous portions and we both took home some leftovers to enjoy later. Each dish tasted very good and the crab rangoons stood out with light flavors of orange and maybe even a hint of coconut. Staff was very friendly. Warmly greeted us as w came in and each patron that came and left after us. If you like Chinese, definitely add this to your list of destinations to try. This is by far the best Chinese food we have in this town, hands down. I'm from the San Francisco Bay Area and am well versed in authentic Chinese food. Admittedly, there is a difference between NY authentic Chinese and SF authentic Chinese, but that usually comes down to minute details like a Lo Mein being finished off in a wok to create Chow Mein. Not a huge difference but a difference. Having said that, the flavors and cooking style of this restaurant is definitely authentic. I have tried every Chinese restaurant in this town and they are all what I consider to be absolute garbage Chinese food. Before this place opened I actually got my Chinese food from Panda Express because it was the best in town. I know, right?! Anyhow, this place isn't the best I've ever had, but it is by far the best I've had in Lebanon. read more

Just stopped in on a whim and decided to get something different I ordered one of the chef specialties (can't remember the name" it had shrimp beef and chicken. This was one of the best dishes I have had in a long time. They are always friendly in there . Definitely worth every penny I spent. Good job! read more

I gave them a third try and still no improvements. SAD I live walking distance to this place :-( Everything I ordered from Sweet and sour chicken to the boneless ribs where so over cooked they could be considered "Vulcanized" Seriously, The Boneless strips lacked the layer of fat that the "Pork Belly" meat is supposed to have. It was a leather chewing experience because I doubt they used the proper cut 'pork belly' to make the strips. The chicken in the Sweet and sour order? SAME THING!! My god people I know your worried about law suites but really Your wellness police is destroying your food. Look up the new Government stats on 145 being the new "safe" zone for pork. And the chicken? I was so hopeful for this Chinese restaurant, but was so disappointed. They advertise as NY style Chinese food and that is plain false advertisement. The rice is yellow with no soy sauce. The general Taos chicken was such a disappointment and on top of that the chicken wasn't even white meat. I am honestly not sure what it was. read more

Our experience here was extremely satisfying. My family and I went for dinner on Sunday. The staff was friendly and the food was amazing. I had the Sweet and Sour Chicken and my husband ordered the Happy Family. They tasted liked it was fresh and cooked to perfection. We also ordered it to go, but it started down pouring rain. The staff was nice to let us stay and eat until it quit raining. We highly recommend China One. read more

Sesame chicken was crunchy no chicken! Chicken lo mien worst in town. Had to try because it was new but we won't go back!!!

Food is pretty good considering but definitely get take out. Owners refuse to run AC and its like 85 degrees on a warm day.

I am a Bedstuy Brooklyn native, so I can attest this is authentic Chinese food even down to the French fries and chicken wings lol. Also the only edible Chinese food in the city. Very convenient and quick, very affordable. BEST OF ALL they have Singapore noodles (most Chinese places do not have) and will customize any of my orders based off our allergies. So in all actuality, they're as authentic, with better service than you'll get in NY trust me ;) I know it's a family with two small girls but hopefully they'll be able to hire delivery guy in the future! read more

To start the food was ok, having said that I ordered the roast pork lo main combo the only problem it had no meat in it.
