Generous Lunch Portion of General Chicken. All white meat.

When I originally relocated to TN from the west coast, one of my "give-ups" was Asian cuisine. In general, a lot of the Asian restaurants in TN are combo type that serve Thai/Laos/Chinese/Japanese, etc. for this reviews, my bar is the other Chinese only places we have in Lebanon. There are about three. Peking is the longest lasting establishment, over 30 years. I put their food quality a notch above the others but more importantly, you can go inside and actually sit at a proper table, get service, etc. the others are basically counter service and to-go. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor shows its age but that is part of its charm.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Lots of parking available and lunch specials on the back of the menu if that's what you're looking for. Support your town's local eateries!

Fast service and big portions. They made my Mongolian beef to order, not spicy and no mushrooms but it didn't have sauce. It did have tender flavorful beef and plenty of onions which I like. The egg drop soup came with plenty of crispies. My husband got the sweet and sour chicken, it looked delicious but was just ok. The eggroll was large and crispy. The meal was fine, but I probably wouldn't go back.

We finally made it back to try the Sunday buffet, and it was great. Although not as big as some other Chinese buffets, the food was fresh and hot. The staff were constantly replenishing empty dishes, and the food was very good. I highly recommend giving the buffet a try.

I can't believe I've lived in this town for so long and have not visited this place until now. I'm not the biggest fan of Chinese food, but I am a fan of Peking Chinese restaurant. The wife and I both ate soup, egg rolls, and entrees for $30, and we took home two boxes full of leftovers. Very good food and great service here for a very reasonable price. We will be back again soon!

Xiao's Hibachi is located on the corner of the shopping center shared with Walmart and Petsense. There's plenty of parking. We were greeted immediately and sat at a table. The restaurant is large but the buffet itself is very small. However, the food here is DELICIOUS. I honestly had low expectations due to the poor reviews but Xiao's proved me wrong. All of the food was hot and cooked perfectly, the sushi was cold and surprisingly good for a buffet. When we first arrived, the food was slim pickin's but by our second go-around, the buffet was filled to the brim and fresh. I enjoyed all of what I had except for the butter mushrooms and the honey chicken (it was overcooked). The champagne chicken was amazing and definitely one of my favorite dishes served. I also favored their chicken on a stick, too. The egg drop and wonton soup were nice. The service here is wonderful. Our waitress filled the cups three times before they were ever empty. Our used plates were promptly picked up, too. Our waitress was friendly and hard working. My husband and I came in expecting a low-star experience but we were truly blown away. Xiao's may be small but it is mighty! We will be back for sure!

It's cheap food at a low price. $13 for a buffet of never ending pizza, salad, pasta, and unlimited sodas in 2026?! It's unheard of these days and dang it, why talk trash on a place that is still serving mass quantities of food that won't hurt the bank account? The spinach pizza and bbq pizza were my favorites. The macaroni and cheese pizza was flavorless and definitely not worth the carb-load. I did like the salad station and they had beets! Their dessert pizza was delicious, too. The inside was very much cafeteria-style unlike the pizza shop vibes I so dearly remember when I'd go as a child back in California. There's no soul in this place, it's cold and empty. Even the arcade area feels depressing. For the amount of people that were there, it felt quiet, and not in a pleasant way. Sure, there's country music playing on the speakers, but the sadness was louder than the twangs of the guitar drifting through the building. Will I go back to Cici's Pizza? Sure! The feeling of loneliness in a busy room doesn't scare me. It's conveniently located right across from the movie theater so instead of filling up on expensive popcorn, I'm going to be eating my feelings at the salad bar and stuffing my face with more of that delicious spinach pizza.

I will have to admit a little bit of agreeance with several other comments: If you're going for Mongolian, expect the average, nothing special. The wife and I have been a couple times quite a while ago for Mongolian bowls and while we left full, weren't overly impressed either. However, we opted just recently to visit their Hibachi, and had a completely different experience! The waitstaff on that side seemed a bit more patient and willing to discuss options, etc. We got our drinks and appetizer (the fried green beans - pass on these, they're bland) and discussed what options we wanted for our entrees. When the Hibachi master came out, it was your typical hibachi show, but still very fun nonetheless. He was friendly, jovial, and seemed to enjoy what he was doing (the egg in the hat trick, the stacked onion flames, "butterfly" jokes and catch-the-food-in-your-mouth tricks). We had fun throughout the cooking process, tried the "Spicy Fried Rice," which was delicious and the only way to go, and watched as our meats and veggies were cooked. Their starting broth soup was actually very tasty, however the wife noted she did not enjoy her "salad" which amassed to only lettuce and few small carrots. Nothing else. The sauces they offered were plentiful and quite good. The teriyaki and spicy sauces were superb, while the yum-yum sauce was just ok. At the end of the day though, we opted for the filet mignon and chicken entree, which we split, and ordered extra rice and veggies. It was MORE than enough food to share, and the steak was extremely good! We will definitely go again and look forward to it until we do!
