I was there a few weeks ago, and still have a bad taste in my mouth. good seafood was just battered and over fried. not the healthiest of choices. they do not have restroom, and the paint peeling off their benches will end up in your food on a windy day. Just not good. A while back, before the lockdown, we tried the fried seafood. It was just really oily frozen seafood and it felt like a rock in your stomach. Not good at all. Some time later tried some steamed seafood. It was not much better. And like others had mentioned, we had called the order in early and they didn't prepare it until we got there. I previously had purchased the cream of crab soup a couple times which my wife and I thought was good. So I recently ordered it again simply expecting the same or very similar. But when I got it home this time, it tasted substantially different and was not good. It wasn't just me, my wife agreed the taste was off as well. So when I called to explain the situation, I wasn't really trying to get a refund even though we had slightly more than half the soup left in the fridge except from what was thrown out. I was just trying to make them aware and maybe expecting someone to say something like "What can we do to make this up to you"? I woke up with crab on my brains. I decided to try this place because it was local. Not a bad establishment but a little expensive. 12crabs for 30 or so dollars. I bought large males for 130 for a buschell so you see what I mean. I tried some of their fried fish and shrimp and it was breaded but no seasoning. Got the fried oysters and fries. The worst meal ever! The oysters had so much fried batter that they were so crunchy you couldn't even bite into them and wouldn't even hold the oyster in it! They were laid on top of the fries and the grease from them made the fries all mushy. When I went back next day owner was very rude. Thought she should know so she could notify cook. This was a carry out and when I was waiting a man and his daughter had gotten their order and the fries were burned and he refused them. He said he did not want them and the same woman, who is the owner, started complaining that she just wasted 2 orders because they were cooking more. Never apologized to either of us.
