Unfortunately, we had an issue a few months ago where the screen to our mac book went black. Apparently had we brought the computer in earlier, it would have been covered by warranty, but since we waited until it was fully broken, it no longer qualified. Sucky situation, but it is what it is so we paid the $500 for the fix and went on with our lives. A week or two after getting the laptop back, I noticed that the touch bar was no longer working. The touch bar had never had an issue so I thought maybe something happened during the screen fix. Life got in the way and I didn't get to calling MBS for a few more weeks. When I finally went in, they told me that it was pure "coincidence" that the touch screen stopped working and even though it was literally right after they pulled the computer apart, it definitely wasn't them and they would not fix it... except if we paid another $500. Now we have a touch bar that doesn't work and they've lost a customer and an advocate. Such a disappointment.

Yesterday, I contact Mr. Diaz by email to ask about potential repair of a Super Audio CD player. He responded promptly and advised that the machine is too old to repair because of a lack of parts. Instead of "blowing smoke," he HONESTLY suggested that, if I wanted to replace the player with the same model, that I look on eBay. He is an HONEST, ethical, businessman. He is knowledgeable and efficient. I would not hesitate to bring other equipment to him for repair.

The repair was $230 and a new printer would be in the range of $200 used to $1,718 (per Google shopping), so it is definitely worth repairing.
