    I came in here in hopes to find an accessory for my iPad. I had no idea where to look in this store…read moreand wandered for a bit. I literally went to the back of the store towards because it felt like the right area to go. No luck with that train of thought because there was nothing in this area. Surprisingly the area I needed to look in was exactly right inside the entrance to this store. After finally figuring this out, I stood in front of the items and tried to figure out which item would fit the model of iPad I had. It didn't help that they had the items in bulky theft deterring cases. I know why they had to put them in these, but it made it hard to figure out if each one of them would fit my iPad. It was quite the ordeal to pick up each one, attempt to read the backs of each and then switch up. It didn't help that I had a bag with me with items in it and I didn't want to put it down. What made matters worse here was the noise level. It was so loud that it was hard to concentrate. It was like I was in a frat house during a party. The music was so loud in here that you could hardly hear a thing. In fact, when I was asked if I needed help, I declined instead of having to yell my answers/questions to the store employee. When you thought the music was finally being turned down, the volume shot back up. I had enough of this and decided to leave. I ended up picking up my item elsewhere. A place that I wasn't in the middle of the rave.

    I will not be shopping at this Best Buy again. While I fully understand and respect the importance…read moreof loss prevention, being closely monitored by a police officer while shopping and having my receipt aggressively checked at the exit, when not all customers appeared to receive the same treatment, left me feeling uncomfortable and singled out rather than welcomed. A customer's skin color should not determine how they are treated. I made a legitimate purchase of Apple AirPods, yet the experience made me feel unfairly scrutinized. As a result, the product is being returned, and I will not be spending any more money at this location. To make matters worse, after escalating my concerns to Best Buy's executive team, I received a follow-up call that felt dismissive and failed to meaningfully address the issue. Customer service at this location has clearly declined. If this behavior continues, it is not surprising that customers will take their business elsewhere. Treatment like this does not belong in Silver Spring or anywhere else.

So when my mom needed a new laptop, I dreaded coming to this location with the expectation that it must have been awful by now. To my surprise, we actually had a very positive experience! We dropped by on a Saturday afternoon so I was anticipating crowds and difficulty finding someone to answer any questions my mom might have. But we experienced the exact opposite. The store felt almost empty aside from folks working and just a handful of customers shopping. We were able to find someone immediately to answer my mom's questions and we were able to buy her a new laptop quickly with confidence and excitement that she found the perfect one for her needs. It was also so easy to find parking here which is always a bonus. Overall, the store was clean, organized and everyone we interacted with that worked here was friendly and helpful so I'll definitely be open minded about returning here in the future.

    Found this business from a Yelp search. My computer hinge came apart. Winstonn communicated well,…read morevia text & call. And was flexible with me to be able to meet at his house & drop off my laptop. The issue was the left side hinge that someone came undone. He left me know he needed to order some screws and the updated price. Once he had the hinge "fixed" he didn't like the way the laptop screen now "stuck out". So he brought a new screen/backing for my laptop. Since he was not personally happy with the way it looked, he offered to buy me a new/used latop. I never saw it with the "poked out" screen but I would have rather kept my laptop. He said he would take some time and research for laptops of my specified specs. So, I said okay. Please let me know what you find before making any purchases. A few days later he calls and tell me that he opened up my laptop, saw water damage, and now miraculousy my laptop NO LONGER WORKS. The screen does not appear - even with external monitors, just black. This was very disappointing and frustrating. Laptop worked fine before I dropped it off, with the exception of the hinge that came undone. Not sure why he didn't check everything (atleast turning it on/off) in the beginning. I even asked if he wanted the power charging cord when I dropped off the laptop. Still dont understand why he would offer a new laptop and then a few days later say my laptop doesnt work and he's not going to replace my laptop. I paid $170 for the service & to get my laptop back, that is NO LONGER works now. Ultimately, I had to purchase a new laptop. I personally would not recommend Added for owners comment : I would not drive nearly an hour back and forth and pay to get the hinge fixed on a broken laptop.. Please, let's be serious here. laptop worked perfectly fine before and when I dropped it off to you. I even sent you pics during our texting. And I offered to leave my charging cord so you could keep it charged etc. as needed. Also, I am not a "computer tech" why didn't/don't you ask questions before anyone drops equipment off to you to make sure you are not wasting yours or anyone's time? I am not being dishonest here or with my review- and I greatly don't appreciate you calling me a liar. Think my review is still fair and told you in person I was disappointed in your service. I waiting patiently for the fix, which you already ordered both parts - and then you asked me WEEKS after the purchase of parts & from when I dropped it off, you asked about water damage for which I said yes- water may have gotten into like two years ago - however it still worked fine for an almost 4 year old computer, so why would I think to mention that? Also, if there was water damage and the laptop was inoperable I would have gotten a new laptop years ago and not went to you to fix a hinge. Perhaps ask questions of customers and their equipment before you take on their project and for you to educate them, for all parties to agree or decline for you to take on their project upfront? That would be a recommendation for my honest, fair review here There is nothing more to say here, I don't generally go back and forth with people but you're trying to defame my character and I don't appreciate that.
