The items were mainly consolidated into main areas, anticipating that it would make it easier for the moving crew to quickly pack and move the items to the trailer. They were here for over 9 hours, packed the truck half full vertically, but filled the 28 foot horizontally. This is something I would expect from college kids who have zero experience as you get charged every foot horizontally you take up in cross country moves. So now, not only are we out $2300 for these movers, we are out an extra 3k because they used twice the amount of space that was actually needed if they had done it correctly. Military and families and federal employees- go anywhere else. This was an absolute disaster.

I met Yohay, who very patiently listen to my ideas about what I was trying to accomplish. This guys is my hero's!! I have had problem with my Lenovo dysfunctional DC jack (power jack) for a while. Problems with charging the battery and turn it on was unstable, Before I called Chevy Chase Geeks, I went to other place (aka B**tB**) to see if they can fix it, after few days diagnostic was wrong, said my motherboard need to be replaced, all I got was unaffordable quote and crazy amount of time to do the whole processes, which I don't have. I got a phonecall a few days later, in which he old me the data is not recoverable and I might as well toss the device, because it's useless. I picked up my device immediately, and shipped it off to a real company for accurate diagnostics. I will be disputing this with my credit card company, and going to the BBB if I have to.

My laptop would not charge. I called for them to fix it. As of today and every day since I called,…read moremy laptop doesn't charge! I am sorry. I wrote a review 3 weeks ago and I dont know how to edit or remove it, but my laptop does not work. Now I have money that isn't a problem, but good quality service is hard to find. I called tecky multiple times telling them my laptop was working for a few minutes and then died completely. I've used 2 different new chargers and it still doesn't work. They want to Charge me again, I already paid $200 for what they said was just plugging it in and it worked for them. When I first called back they didn't try to come and look at the laptop again. And today when I called they basically said it was my fault and hung up on me. They hung up on me. I gave them a chance, wasted $200 dollars and now they want me to pay more for the same problem. Unless you have a degree in computers, even if you do, don't waste your time with them. Unprofessional and a Waste of Time. I even gave them a $18 tip!! Don't waste your time!!!

For my most recent repair, they picked up my macbook from my home, replaced the battery, and delivered it back to me in, no exaggeration, 2 hours start to finish. (I didn't pay any extra rush charge or even say I was in a hurry or anything.) I don't think I've had a repair anywhere else that was faster than like 2-3 days before I got the computer back. Another time I asked about a very specialized problem that they don't deal with, and they were totally upfront about not doing it and directed me to someone who could help. Also a great sign. And both repairs are still working great, so good quality as well. I'm going to be sticking with Techy for any future repairs!
