The workers there is very rude and unprofessional. The drinks was waters down. They lied to my sister that they don't sell food ,but I bough pizza from them an hour before she got there. And there a sign at the bathroom door say pizza for $8.00. We all had requested songs on the karaoke,but they had there employee perform. And the owner yelled to get the fuck out his establishment. I felt like they didn't want us there because of our skin color and I was there trying to enjoy my birthday. No wonder why they don't have customers. This was my first time going there. read more

They took my other 2 reviews down so I'm going to keep putting it back up. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. THEY WILL SPIKE YOUR DRINKS, STEAL FROM YOU, AND SHOUT OBSCENITIES IN YOUR FACE. I went here with my husband and a friend of ours for a night of karaoke and drinks. At first glance when we walked in the older blonde bartender greeted us rude and aggressively but still asked what we were drinking. I asked for drinks with top shelf liquor and I know she gave us something else. I'm a bartender. This was annoying but drinks in hand, we headed for the DJ booth to pick songs and I sat my drink and bag on our table. After shutting it down on stage with one of the employees there the blonde bartender then got on stage and seemed angry that she didn't receive the same response from the crowd. We hadn't even taken the shots yet and we decided to leave at that point because she was giving off a vibe like she didn't care for people of color. I went back to our table to grab my things and they were gone. When I asked the staff about it nobody seemed to care and basically all the friendliness went out the window. I noticed behind the bar a lot of purses under a sign that said "for sale". Yeah. Then meth barbie AND the regulars started screaming at us at the top of her lungs to get the f*ck out. I only asked if she had seen my bag. Long story short, we had to call the cops to run the cameras back and they said that the area we were in wasn't visible. Avoid this racist cesspool of an establishment. Needs to be shut tf down. read more

A cool dive bar kind of vibe. Come with an open mind and pull the stick out of your a**. The place has a lot more to offer than the outside seems to present. Cheap drinks and friendly staff makes it a good place to come to have a stress-free kind of night. For the 21-29 year olds that go, just watch out for the old folks that have had a little too much to drink read more

First time at 1 nite stand and it was very nice, laid back and the owner and bartender are very engaged and nice. Great drinks and atmosphere. Pool tables, DJ, and a dance pole. Must see, check it out if you are in St. Louis. read more

This place is a real throwback. Smoking inside is still permitted and the staff smokes nonstop. They accept credit cards, but somewhat grudgingly and offer only bottled beer and hard liquor. On Fri and Sat, they do karaoke and that is when the scene gets awesome. Good song selection (though good luck navigating the song books- better to just ask DJ if he has your song). Service is very friendly and attentive. There is a stage for singing as well as - wait for it - a stripper pole on another side stage. Patrons will get up and pole dance, which is entertaining. If you don't mind smelling like smoke, this place has to be seen to be believed. read more

- was all fun and great when i was there saturday night (1-22-22) before close. my friends and i sang karaoke all night & shut the bar down. as soon as they closed, they rushed us out like we were criminals. i realized i left my wallet inside but they were closed until 3pm on wednesday. i come back as soon as they reopen to retrieve it & the old blonde bartender opens the door. she was extremely rude & not helpful whatsoever. i told her i was here saturday night and left my wallet. she accused me of never being there saturday and that it was no one in the establishment that night, that it was "dead". i assured her i was for a fact there and i have video proof.! i asked to come in and look around which she was extremely annoyed about, even tho they were suppose to already be open a hr ago. i asked if there was anyone who would've grabbed it and put it behind the bar for me, she said she was the only one working behind the bar. when we were here the saturday, there was in fact a waitress, a dj, the bartender & even the owner. she rushed me out again. i go to the back of the building to see if maybe it was dropped outside. she comes out and says "you again.?!" I told her i was just looking for my wallet. she then goes to tell me i need to put my wallet up my ass. shocked i asked her what did she say.? and she repeated herself & i said whys that .? & she said so i won't lose it. lost for words i call my fiancé and tell him the situation. i told him to get the owner's number and ask them to watch the video surveillance. he goes to the bar and the owner is actually there. the owner says it would take them way too long to run back the cameras and that the only way he's doing that is if the cops are here. so we get the cops involved to go through some footage. whole time that rude bartender is sitting there talking mad s***. also she got into it with a customer while we were there, screaming at the top of her lungs at a customer who got shorted a beer. they only had 2 minutes of video for saturday. SO go here if you wanna get punked, and disrespected. it's very upsetting trying to go into a neighborhood establishment trying to support the community and dishonest, sketchy stuff like this happen. the brunette waitress, amy i believe, is a sweetheart but she don't even belong there. they're lucky to have someone in there like her. she deserves to work somewhere wayy better than that shady place. the bartender needs to have a whole attitude adjustment & possibly check into a rehab. karmas a :) tho. read more

I live in the city and I go by this place at least once every other day. I have always wanted to go stop in, but with many dives it sometimes feels like you need a membership because the regulars are so close. I came to meet a friend at this place. The street is a typical south side state street. If you know what that means then you won't be worried of the street otherwise this might deter you. I wish that it had scared me more. I walked in and it was big inside. If you look past the dark bar there appeared to be pool tables in an elevated part of the bar. Bartender was friendly but almost too friendly. You know kind of like that sleazy car salesman friendly. Its offensive but you realize they are trying to be nice. Its cash only but if you leave your tab open they can use the plastic. He owner stood in the corner and held court. This is where I hated it. He was rude to women and frankly not nice at all. The staff had plenty of drama and were part of the bar fight. Ok I like dive bars. All you have to do to see this is look at the many reviews that I have offered for many different dive bars. With that said, I do not like this place. As a woman I didn't even feel safe to be standing there. read more

I love humble dives. I love karaoke bars. I love gritty neighborhood joints with salty characters. This place seems like it should fit the bill but the staff is so flat-out rude that's hard to focus on anything else. For one thing St. Louis has a smoking ban. The staff at this bar smoke like chimneys. If you mention anything about it, they don't flat out kick you out, but they certainly stop serving you. Also, for three beers they tried charging $40. I'm sure that was retribution for the smoking comment. St. Louis is chock-full of great dives. This one isn't one of them. read more

It was my first time at this bar and unfortunately my last. We walked in that bar sober and good thing we did. The bartenders drank enough for all 3 of us. Basically the bar is ran poorly. The drunk owners wife argued with us about basic math. 6 drinks between 3 people is not $50. It is $36. We left and we were so infuriated one of the employees actually suggested instead of going back in, just cancel our card. (What?!). We refused then went to go back in to talk to the owner himself, he was yelled at by his wife the whole time calling us liars and the discussion of the inquired bar tab which clearly said one name, then another which was added together. After much discussion with much of the drunk staff we got cash, in hand, out of the owners pocket only because the wife told us no to our refund. He offered us a round of shots while she yelled us to leave and never come back. We declined his offer and escaped the premises. read more

Went there with a big group of friends. The bartender who is the owner´s wife is CLEARLY on some sort of drug. (Like Meth.) We ordered 3 shots. She asked me to buy her one. Really? Doesn´t your husband own the bar??? She told me she would give me a discount. $28.00 for 4 shots. Some discount. I told a guy next to me what happened and he said that happens a lot there.
