I've taken my dogs Nemo and Bark Marley here plenty of times! And Bri always has them coming back looking like brand new doggies! Highly recommend anyone there! They're all so nice :)

    Look at that smile!!

I brought my Bentley here and was extremely happy with the service!! They did such a great job with him and even put a cute little bib on him when he was done. They offer add ons for a pretty decent price. This is the third dog groomer I've been to here in town, and they are by far the best!! And bonus! They are so good to Bentley!! Highly recommend for anyone looking to find a permanent groomer for your dog!!

Nikita is showing off her painted nails

Jayd and Sonia are amazing. Jayd was the only one in the central Valley that could groom Nikita. She had cage fright. We went through 4 other places and none of then were successful. They always make sure my puppies feel relaxed and they cater to their specific needs. The dogs always look great and more importantly are treated like family. We will always take any puppy we have to 100% fancy grooms. You guys are the best!

Idid this cut!! What she's normally looks like!

DON'T do it......YOUR DOG WILL BE JACKED UP!!! If I could give a ZERO I WOULD... Set an appointment up to get a "facial trim"... This a schnauzer... they have lashes and brows.... Well at least she did until they said they would trim her up... they took them off!!! And did not touch her beard... but yet when I call they tell me... we don't do trims it's either full cut or nothing, well if that's the case why did you do it???? It's apparent, you don't know how?? The pictures the one in the grass is how she's supposed to look., via me cutting her hair.... The one with the shirt is the one they did!!!!! The others Re what she looked like right before she went in!!!!

Jayd (one of the owners) on the left and our groomer, Jackie, on the right. Great service here!

Wonderful service in a friendly yet laid back atmosphere. My folks have been getting their dog groomed here for the last couple of years or so. It's actually fun to bring your dog here and see all the dogs getting worked on. In various states of being transformed, six stations keep these special clients moving. Our girl, Baby, comes back so clean and fresh. Her makeover comes out so good that she is now exploring her dating options! Staff is super friendly, accommodating and on the ball. One of the owners, Jayd, glues the hospitality together putting a shine on the business. Jackie, our groomer is great is checking with us on specific requests we may have. Recently, we had Baby cut more closely for the season and we wanted the area around her mouth really cut back to keep her from dripping water on the floor when she drinks. I appreciated that Jackie asked me again just how far to cut her back and didn't simply interpret what I'd meant, herself. It's good to ask! The one suggestion I'd have for this business is to get the front/outside of this location cleaned up. The windows and ledges are grody and look unkempt (inside and out). Being the first thing that the customer sees, it should be more closely attended to. That includes the door and the front counter (dust and debris). You'll only appreciate this observation IF you're thinking about it from the customer perspective (like a new client coming in for the first time who may be particular). The front of the house is important in welcoming business and assuring folks that detail is attended to. Get those baseboards, too. Do this and it will add an additional positive impression that will speak to the health and detail of your services. Don't underestimate its subtle value... Keep up the good work and service, 100% Fancy Grooms, we are grateful for your service and dedication to caring for our little girl! -G

I took my dog for more than a year here with no issues except in April 2023 we had a scary situation that I would not wish on anyone's fur baby. They hurt my dogs eye severely without an apology from Sonia. All she said is well you know your dogs pretty hyper. So this must be why they nearly took my dogs eye out. Never again. Terrible service.

DON'T TAKE YOUR PETS HERE! Let me just say first and foremost, the owner is 100% unprofessional and will be reported to the better BBB. I took my dog to this place over 4 years ago and they were horrific. They poorly groomed my dog then told me "just come pick her up". After moving out of Fresno my sister convinced me to give Jackie a chance. I figured I would take my long haired Maltese to Jackie being my normal Fresno groomer was booked. Upon arrival Jackie said it looks like my dogs hind legs were matted. I told her well typically her normal groomer can easily brush those out so it should be fine. I gave Jackie specific instructions to CALL ME prior to doing anything to my dog if my dogs "matts" were too much for her to handle.( Let me just say my dog is an inside dog and her feet were wet from a walk in the morning. I brush my dogs hair twice to three times a week so there was no matting.) about an hour or so goes by and I get a call from Jackie. Stating my dogs matts were really back and they wanted to shave her completely down to her skin! This was a shock being I pet my dog daily and her "matts" were not that bad at all. Jackie then told me she didn't dematt my dog prior to giving her a BATH! This is basic grooming 101 you never put a "matted" dog in water as the hair will soak up the water making the matts incredibly difficult to brush/comb out resulting in shaving the dog. I then asked Jackie if her bathing the dog is what made the matts worse, of course she declined I asked why would you bathe my dog prior to brushing her out, her response was "that's how we do things here" but your way of doing things is going to cost my dog all of her fur? Wrong! Trying to work with these losers, I asked her if I could send her a picture of a short haircut that my dog once received to get an accurate idea of how short the cut would be. She refused and asked the "owner". The owner told her that if I wouldn't allow them to give my dog a summer cut I need to "just come pick her up" the statement was used in a threatening/intimidating manner which was unprofessional. I asked to speak with the "owner" she got on the phone with an unprofessional tone and condescending attitude. I asked how many inches would be taken off these people are so untrained that she couldn't give me an answer in inches! Long story short upon arrival to pick up my dog I asked the owner to show me where the matts were located she didn't bother and told me just feel under her arms and on her face I felt damp fur and a huge Matt that was not on my dog prior to being dropped of. This place tried to charge me $25 for a bath, nails and fanny clean up. Needless to say I refused to pay! You buzzed cut my dogs fanny area making it look horrific and sent her home with massive matts! The owner started yelling in my face! (literally yelling) Waved me off and stated shouting "You're ridiculous, get outta here and that she would let every groomer in Fresno know about me") so your going to damage my character because of what your employee did or couldn't do? I informed the manager of what was instructed to Jackie (to call me prior to anything being done to my dog!) She choose to bathe her to come up on the money this place is a SCAM! Another woman who was in the back when I was speaking to the owner outside came out of the door while I was at my car shouting across the parking lot she was going to report me! report me for what? for your owner handing me my dog, waving her hands in my face aggressively, and telling me to just leave and get outta here? Try again sweetie. Needless to say I took my dog somewhere else please see the photo. No '"summer cut" was needed. Beware of groomers whom see shaving your dog as a solution!

While this place isn't cheap--I suspect very few vets are what we'd call "affordable," I've always appreciated how loving all staff are towards any pet we've brought in--whether they were easy to handle or a bit spicy. I appreciate that price estimates are offered on a scale of "low" and "high" estimates-accounting for different contingencies that might change how much any treatment or procedure might cost. I also appreciate that they offer different forms of pet insurance. This is not something I've looked into, but I am considering it. I can't speak to the dog side of things, but I'm grateful to find a place that doesn't return traumatized cats to me. While they will take a pet back without you for a quick vaccination or procedure, they almost always allow you to be present with your pet if you prefer that. As for specific staff, there isn't anyone that we request or would recommend....because everyone that we've worked with has shown this same level of kindness and compassion. During our time with this location, we have lost a few of our fur babies, including one to an aggressive form of cancer. While this broke our hearts, as we consider pets to be family, I am grateful for the staff who made our pet comfortable and gave us the space and time to say goodbye and to be with our pet until they crossed the rainbow bridge. The only negative that I have for this vet is that they are not open on the weekends or evenings, which means that I need to take time off work in order to schedule an appointment for my pets. This has on occasion resulted in a delay in their routine care, especially when work is busy and I can't get away during normal business hours. I understand that keeping the office staffed and opened extended hours is a business decision and has costs that may not justify such a change, but it sure would make this clinic more accessible for their customers.

We recently enrolled our dog in the Ruff Edges Program and I want to share our experience for other…read moredog owners who may be considering this program. For dogs dealing with fear and anxiety, they use extremely intense correction methods. We were initially open to these tools, but things went downhill very quickly. Day one involved towel rolls being thrown at our dog, loud air-canister interruptions, and immediate use of a prong collar. Rather than working at our dog's pace, trainer Mel dragged him along on the prong collar until he submitted. This is not an exaggeration, he was physically dragged while thrashing and panicking. It was shocking and honestly heartbreaking to witness. Right after this forced submission, she handed him to my fiancé, and shortly after our dog jumped up and bit him on the arm. For context: he is five years old and has never bitten anyone in his life. It was devastating. Dogs give plenty of warning signs before a bite (growling, lip raises, body posture) but all of those signals were suppressed as he was forced into submission. In his mind, the only option left was to bite to escape the fear. After the bite we were told, "Oh yeah, that can happen sometimes," and that if it happens again we should "hang him by the prong collar until he sees Jesus." Honestly, we should have walked out immediately, but we trusted the 'professional' and assumed this program was designed for dogs like ours, so it must work. The bite happened again at the next session, totaling three bites under Mel's supervision. We never "hung" our dog by the prong because that is abuse, plain and simple. Meanwhile, his anxiety skyrocketed. He began howling, shaking, and crying at any attempt to get in the car. He even bolted out the front door to avoid going, behaviors we had never seen before this program. By week three, our dog was losing trust in us. He stopped cuddling (which is completely unlike him), avoided closeness, and generally shut down. Heartbreaking, to say the least. After experiencing this firsthand, I truly believe these methods do nothing but force a dog into submission (when they "work") and when they don't, they create dangerous behavioral fallout. The techniques used here are unnecessarily harsh, rooted in impatience, and a blatant lack of respect for the animal. They claim the program is tailored to your dog, but when the methods failed, the only advice was to correct harder: hang him, use an e-collar, throw the towel harder. No alternatives, no adjustments, no real understanding of his behavior. That is not tailoring, that is pushing until the dog breaks. In researching modern training science, I've learned there is simply no justification for these outdated methods. They ignore what we now know about canine behavior and emotional wellbeing. These techniques appeal to owners who want fast control, not true behavior change. I love my dog. After this experience, I'm choosing the slow road, the one that builds trust, not fear. I don't want a dog who obeys because his spirit is broken. I want a companion. If you're considering the Ruff Edges Program, please understand the risks and research these methods thoroughly. I wish we had, and I regret staying as long as we did. "The dominance remedy is so out of proportion that entire schools of training are based on the premise that if you can just exert adequate dominance over the dog, everything else will fall into place. Not only does it mean that incredible amounts of abuse are going to be perpetrated against any given dog, probably exacerbating problems like unreliable recalls and biting, but the real issues, like well-executed conditioning and the provision of an adequate environment, are going to go unaddressed, resulting in a still-untrained dog, perpetuating the pointless dominance program." -- Excerpt from The Culture Clash by Jean Donaldson.

They were very professional and they truly care about your time, preferences, and your dog. They have you put down half of the cost up front which worried me at first because I've never done that before, but it's because they make REAL appointments for your pup. When they say 10am they mean 10am. That is your time slot. They don't stick them in a crate and get to them when they can. My Olive was only there for 1.5hr! The communication and care of my dog was positive and the staff is sweet. I've returned a second time and received the same consistent grooming result. I don't have any experience with the boarding aspect of this business but it looks like it's great. My only pause is that prices recently went up and now my small dogs groom will be $75 from $65.
