They were local and their website featured my exact bed and mattress so I called immediately. The man who answered was friendly and enthusiastic, said they accepted Medicare, and it'd take 2-3 days for a bed to arrive after receiving the paperwork. Following that, kept getting the runaround from various others who answered the phone (never that initial man), first saying my physician never sent the forms even though I called and they assured me the forms were sent twice, then a few more calls with no updates available. Finally, I received a call informing me that my insurance does not cover this bed and also told me their company does not carry that bed. Okay, so which is it - my insurance doesn't cover it or they don't have it? It's right there on their website. Why would they call my insurance, anyway, if Eagle doesn't carry it? Hm. I called my insurance. A claim was never initiated and I double-checked and, yes, the bed IS covered. Eagle Medical lied to me. This company is all over the place. Why would they lie? I don't know. Maybe they prefer to sell to those who pay out-of-pocket instead. I can't imagine any other reason.

I have been trying to get a portable oxygen machine for awhile and for some reason it is not going through on my insurance. I have Medicare/Aetna. Oxygen level at doctor was 89 and y'all said that was not low enough. It is all I can do to breathe with no oxygen and it is very hard to get to the appointment with what I have. So why can't you get me a portable concentrator. I know a lady that has one that never has had the walk to see what her level was. So if I have to I will go all the way to Medicare to get answers. Thank you.

All of the aggravating things I previously experienced have been eliminated - and reporting is easy thanks to AI technology and a much easier interface. We had a peaceful and informative hour together where she explained how to use, clean, and order CPAP supplies, and how to reach a sleep coach whenever I have a question. I left the appointment feeling quite knowledgeable about the damage sleep apnea can do to our bodies (and brain) - and anxious to start using my CPAP right away. I'm looking forward to seeing my results displayed on the CPAP machine screen tomorrow morning.
