This was especially frustrating because I was previously shown another poodle and led to believe that was what my puppy's mom looked like, which turned out to be misleading. As a buyer who paid a significant amount for my puppy, I do not think it is unreasonable to ask for basic transparency about the dog's parents. When I first got her, she also had ear infections I had to get her treatment for. Now, she is loved and doing well, but my experience with communication and honesty after purchase was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this breeder to anyone who expects clear information, responsiveness, and transparency. Looking back, this place seems more like a puppy mill judging by how dirty the kennels were, and crowded their labs were in a single kennel with dirt/poo smears they were licking.

The kitten was 4 months old and weighed, 2.4 pounds. The vet asked how much I paid for the kitten, and when I told him that i had paid $1,650 for a full breed British Shorthair kitten, he replied, "the kitten you purchased was not a full breed British Shorthair and that I paid too much for a sick cat." Moral of this review, do not trust anyone who can't provide pedigree papers on any animal the breeder is selling as "full breed."

However, after Anna told me that one of the kittens was a female I still wanted to get them both because they were so cute. Today, I'm happy that it worked out this way because I got to experience both sides of personality in my kittens (male and female). I love them both equally and I can't be any happier. Also, I am glad that we got two siblings because they play so much together and they are so happy! I saw that a retired male ragdoll Beni was available and Jessica got right back to me when I inquired about him. So this cycle of irresponsibility continues, because new and unsuspecting pet owners look at only the positive reviews on this page) You can look in reddit for the MANY traumatized pet owners who've lost their pets from various diseases from this breeder. She lives in a gated community in Diamond Bar, and her communication is horrendous. She uses "Fairytale Ragdoll" to confuse people with another legit cattery in LA, who has in large red letters on her homepage that she is not affliated with Joy. For Joy's cat, you can see eye crusties in like every cat. If you don't, it's because she wiped them before taking pictures. You will more than likely bring home some disease that will affect your other cats. My other cat was pristine, and after got infected with FIP, now has eye crusties and infections chronically. Our second kitten that we brought home came back positive for a the rare parasite tritrichomoniasis, which is insane to deal with - it's a special order drug that you have to keep in the fridge and wear nitrile gloves to handle. Not to mention the possibility of YOU yourself getting infected by whatever parasite or mite it has. I let my husband talk me into getting another cat from Joy and to write a nice review three years ago. In fact, I remmeber the day we went, Joy tried to give us her sickest cat instead, who came up to us and sneezed, leaving a giant green snot trail on my husband's pants. She also cried and pretended to have a heart attack and feel pained for us. Literally the worst acting I've ever seen. We stuck to our guns and picked up the replacement cat we came for.
