Overall, it's a good addition to Evanston, and a unique introduction to something quite needed in the area: Korean Fried Chicken. The restaurant had a very nice ambiance/hospitality; minimalist, decent amount of space, and overall great interior. The wings were good and honestly included what you could ask for: crisp outside and moist chicken. I personally am not a huge fan of double breading/double frying (and this is how the wings seemed to be made), mainly because you run the risk of drying out the meat and having too tough of an exterior, but it was done relatively well here. The ice cream/soft serve was also very good, it's pretty hard to go wrong with matcha ice cream + a crushed oreo topping. The bowls were relatively disappointing; although they tasted fine, I found that my level of interest decreased pretty rapidly, until about when I was halfway done. From there, I didn't really want another bite. I think it's mainly because the rice was overcooked (grains were a bit mushy) and that the sauce to rice ratio was a bit underwhelming, especially for a Korean dish. I was a little apprehensive trying another new franchise so soon after opening in Evanston . However it was tempting and I went for it. I'm glade I did. The wing were very good not high in size but well done good sauces. Their bowls are also good I little short on veggies and heavy on rice but it is ample. Well, very thin fried skin but lack of flavor. Wings are OK but tenders are non-flavor at all!! Even no salt!

This dungeon of a restaurant had me on my knees in distress. First of all the color scheme was a no. The second thing was that their seemed to be a rendezvous for the little league kick ball association of America on the night I went because there were children everywhere. Well,sigh,someone has to be the first negative voice so here goes. Ordered the Classic Chicken sandwich with fries and couldn't wait for the juicy flavorful goodness,but that never came. Chicken wasn't horribly overcooked but was well past juicy. And the sandwich was just kind of bland--I had to add red pepper flakes to kick it up a notch. Fries were fine and everybody was really nice,so I may have even been a bit charitable with the 3 stars. Also I recognize that my expectations were perhaps unfairly high--after reading all the positive reviews I was so looking forward to being blown away. The staff was so welcoming and friendly, and the space was clean and inviting. We ordered a few things off the menu to share. We were blown away! High quality ingredients, using panko crumbs instead of flour, and some interesting sauces made this a memorable lunch experience. Awesome Korean style fried chicken place. Prices are reasonable, I was able to get a wing combo with fries and a drink for around ten dollars. They have a very neat menu on the wall when you come in so you can order easily at the counter. Small bottled drink selection and fountain drinks. Staff was very friendly,polite, and helpful. It takes a little bit to make because they cook everything fresh but you can really taste the difference. My son requested chicken for his 5th birthday dinner, and we picked 10Q based on Yelp reviews that said the food was delicious. 100% agree on that front. Tender, lightly breaded chicken, amazing sauces and fun sides. But the customer service was as good as the food! They gave my son free fries and ice cream for his birthday (which he loved), but in addition, everyone was polite, the self-service station was so well set up, and everything was so clean. I have been dining in Evanston since 1996 (shhh...don't tell anyone I am old), but this is among the best customer service we have had.
