They were actually really busy for a 3:00PM on a Friday. There were only two people working (one being the owner) and there were about 6 or 7 people in the store that were all purchasing something so we had to wait for them. We waited about 10-15 minutes. When they finally got to us, they were really kind. I think the girl working was new, because she didn't know a lot of the questions we were asking. The owner ended up coming over to help us. The prices are super reasonable, especially compared to other places I've seen. A small hookah was about $25. A medium sized was $50. We were looking at the medium sized, and ended up getting a medium one. It came in its own case and all, so you could break down the hookah and carry it in like a little suitcase. we bought charcoal and the tobacco, all for about $75. Which is crazy, because a lot of other stores would be way more expensive. Overall, I'd definitely come back here to purchase products. It's fairly priced and employees were really nice. Although, you may be a bit patient at times. I also ended up picking up some incense too, and they have SO MANY OPTIONS. After getting home and looking at the receipt, it had 14 carat ladies ring. And then looking inside the ring, it was marked 10 carat. The sales person should have told us that. Plus we paid the price for a 14k. Sales are final, so we are stuck with a cheaper one. The ring is beautiful. Maybe the sales person couldn't read the 10k inside of the ring. When I entered, the woman working was friendly, but the energy felt a bit off--something I wouldn't normally hold much weight against on its own. My main concern came at checkout. I came in specifically to purchase oracle decks and found a few decks I liked. One deck, in particular, had a handwritten sticker clearly marked at $17. The other decks had barcodes with prices printed directly on the boxes. When I checked out, the total was much higher than expected, but I was distracted at the register and didn't question it at the moment. Once I got home, I checked my receipt and realized that the deck marked $17 had been rung up as $42. When I checked the box, the price sticker was no longer there. This felt very intentional, especially since I've shopped here many times and know that nearly every item is clearly priced, either with a barcode or a handwritten sticker. The only reason I purchased that particular deck was because it was marked $17. I felt taken advantage of and honestly insulted. I came to this store not only for the products, but also for the sense of sanctuary and positive energy it usually provides. It's really unfortunate, because I've always had positive experiences here and it was even recommended to me by my therapist as part of my spiritual journey. I've enjoyed every purchase I've made in the past. However, this experience was enough to make me decide not to return. I would just encourage others to be mindful of the energy when entering spaces like this and to pay close attention at checkout to ensure items are rung up correctly.
