When he came by and quoted the job, I felt reassured that I was making a good decision. But after signing his estimate, Alain never showed up. It was during COVID and an odd time so I let it go and reached back out to him the next summer. Alain came by again and updated his quote - increasing the price by ~50%. Again, it was COVID and labor and supplies were expensive. No problem, let's get it done. He dodged me for the summer as he was overloaded and it never got done. I've already run around - twice - getting the samples he recommended... all he needs to do is show up and knock it out.
