Good store if you need snacks, okay customer service, good 99 cent drinks, overall pretty normal drug store.

I drove past Ray's Produce & Bodega one day and saw cars lined up to get in and was determined to…read moreloop back to check it out. Unfortunately, when I was able to stop back, I discovered that their hours are limited to Friday - Sunday. A few days later I returned with my bilingual sister-in-law in tow to educate me and translate. The space is a combination warehouse and grocery store with aisles filled with an array of spices and cultural foods not always stocked in big box grocery stores. There was a variety of fresh grown herbs at the entrance and a nice selection of fruits and vegetables at competitive prices. Local cheeses, jello treats and beverages filled the coolers. Their household goods included cleansers, cookware and disposable dinnerware. What stood out for me was the exotic fruits available that I'd never seen before. Sure, I've seen nopales (cactus), but some of the other prickly options looked like they came from another planet! I've heard of jackfruit, but could never imagine they grew to the size of a newborn! Sweet-tooth? They've got you covered! Just grab some pastries, cookies, candy, or hot spicy mango strips. Horchata, Juarito, and more. Depending upon the season you might find plants out front. Bring your bags because they don't have any, but they may have a box if you forget to bring them.

Hands downnnnnn my most favorite milkshake spot in Oregon!!!…read more My boyfriend is an Oregon local here and introduced me to this little shop 20 minutes away from his house. This place consists of everything locally made/grown honey, jams, fruits, vegetables, they even have frozen ice cream and meats on the go. Very cute farm vibe! We walked to the back of the store where they offer some pies, shortcakes, ice creams, sundaes, milkshakes, and hot/ice coffees. We were nicely greeted by the employees and we both ordered the strawberry milkshake. They directed us to go the back of the store where the seating area is located and someone will come out and announce our names. We waited about 5 to10 minutes and then they finally called our names. Took my first bite, my mind was blownnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!! Most milkshakes I've had in the past were always generic and when it melts it turns into watery milk. But with Aspinwall's milkshake, the consistency is soooooo creamy, soft, and smooth! Even if it melts, it turns into a milky froth! Superrrr delicious!! The next few weeks of my vacation here I kept ordering a different variety of their fresh fruit milkshakes to see which one I liked the most. I tried peach, blueberry, blackberry, strawberry blended with chocolate, and strawberry blended with blueberry. So which fresh fruit milkshake do I most recommend? STRAWBERRY BLENDED BLUBERRY MILKSHAKE!!! Separated they are delicious on their own so that's why decided to blend both together and enjoy all at the same time :) I recommend ordering this combo!!!! Least favorite fresh fruit milkshakes was the peach, it wasn't fresh and seemed they used a preserved peach from a long ago harvest. Vacation here in Oregon lasted 2 weeks so we went here at least 5-7x to get as much milkshakes as possible before we head back to my home in Hawaii. Surprisingly I never got tired of the milkshakes because I just love the fresh fruit! We will be back again!

We picked a watermelon and 1/2 bucket of apples. I feel like the apples were either under ripe or overripe. 1/2 bucket $8.50 full bucket $17. Watermelon upick is $6. They did have already picked buckets that you could just purchase a higher price. I didn't catch the price of the veggies or flowers. I will go back to check out the pears in a few weeks.

I was here for apples, and they had a ton of options. They were very friendly and patiently explained the process. You fill buckets and then pay at the end. They have pull carts so you can move multiple buckets around. There are so many varieties of apples! There is a chart at the entrance to the orchard with the names and what purpose is best for each kind of apple (eating, baking, applesauce). They also let you sample the apples to help with the selection process. The orchards extend farther than was apparently from the parking lot. It was peaceful at the far end of some of the rows, and we found plenty of apples. It can be muddy, so boots are probably a good idea. It was a lovely fall day, with blue skies. This was a fun way to connect with the season and to become more familiar with where some of our food comes from. Highly recommended.
