Stopped here on the way home from Salem when we heard the music at the stop light! Order at the little shed with a friendly server and it takes no time for it to come out. Had some of the best strawberry shortcake we've had this summer. In house cake and local strawberries with a pile of whip cream. Sat outside in the shade under a tree and listed to the band. Went inside to the market and bought some really fresh ripe peaches to eat the next day. Might be worth a trip down by itself next time. read more

Loved this charming place to have a relaxing lunch outdoors and enjoy the weather. They don't serve savory food, but there's a mini market inside with fresh produce and fruit, and I eat country store full of unique beautiful knickknack, and kitchen items. They're probably most known for their desserts so try the freshly made donuts which are served in the minimart, or try a fresh fruit smoothie, fresh made milkshake, or strawberry shortcake from the strawberry shortcake shack outside. read more

Unprofessional service and poor quality products I bought tomatoes here, but they turned out to be completely hollow inside, tasteless, and poorly preserved. After eating just one, we experienced digestive discomfort. I brought the remaining tomatoes back with the original receipt, but the store refused to give a full refund and only offered a partial return. Extremely disappointed with both the product quality and the customer service. I do not recommend this farm store. read more

This is a really good spot. The people are helpful, the produce is super fresh, mostly local and well priced. They are often the first to have seasonal produce. Good dairy case, some alcohol - don't resist the fresh donuts they are also fresh, well priced and super tasty. Three things I was looking for for fall: Local apple varieties Apple cider Donuts The donuts are pipping hot when you walk through the door. I was going for apple cider but they also had pumpkin. I couldn't decide and got both. I'm glad I did but almost wish I would have bought more of the pumpkin as they were my favorite. So so good. The store itself is wonderfully decorated with fall theme items and was well laid out. The prices on the pantry items were a bit high but understandable. My wife once lived in Salem and as we drove south on Interstate 5 she thought about the fact that she could get apple doughnuts at EZ orchards. Since she hasn't lived in the area in quite a few years we called to ensure they were open on a Thursday afternoon and to also verify they had fresh doughnuts. We were told they did have both fresh apple and pumpkin doughnuts, it was our lucky day! We arrived about 2pm and the parking lot was busy with activity. In addition to the market they also have an exterior area for fall which my wife didn't remember. We were on a mission so we did not explore the outdoor area. We proceeded to step into the market and I quickly saw they offer much more than doughnuts. In addition to various produce, they offer regional products such as frozen pies, dairy related items and shelf stable items which all appear to be sourced from the Willamette Valley. There was a line of about 25 people in the doughnut line and the smell of warm doughnuts filled the air. We traded off standing in line so the other could explore the store and my wife returned with a pint of EZ Orchards cider which she drank while standing in line. I'm not a big cider fan but I agreed it was very refreshing. The line moved at a steady pace and we decided on a dozen of the apple and dozen of the pumpkin doughnuts to take to family. We also ordered a half dozen to enjoy warm. They were hot, sugary and delicious. I can see why people come out to enjoy them fresh out of the small kitchen. We highly recommend if in the Salem area. Even if you are just passing through. read more

I love this little market! Fresh produce, great local products and a wonderful place to pick up a unique gift. Their fresh made doughnuts are delicious! Outside you'll find the shortcake stand. Today we had a large strawberry shortcake with 1/2 shortcake and 1/2 biscuit. The ice cream they use is Cascade Glacier. You cannot buy this ice cream in any stores. It's only available at businesses, such as this, that they will sell to. The ice cream seems creamier than most and very fresh. There are picnic tables to sit at and a small playground for kids. We spent an amazing afternoon at EZ Orchards for their annual HarvestFest today. EZ packs a LOT of activities and services into a small area, which is great because visitors don't have to cover acres and acres of farmland to experience the pumpkin patch and hayrides. Everything is conveniently located. We experienced gold panning, cattle lassoing, slides, hayrides, a corn maze, live music and so many other kid-friendly activities in the main area just west of the parking lot. The farm offers lots of pumpkins in differing shapes, sizes and colors, as well as other seasonal items like corn stalks, gourds and apple cider. Pumpkins are 0.47 a pound in 2023, and specialty pumpkins are individually marked. Though it was a gorgeous day, the farm was very muddy due to rain the last several days. I feel the farm could have done a better job laying down wood chips or hay to provide better traction... for both cars and people. I was not prepared with appropriate footwear, so I'll keep that in mind next time I visit. The weekend crowds were a little intense, and parking was problematic due to backups that occurred near the entrance. The farm does a great job of employing flaggers to direct traffic to parking spots in the field, but many drivers seemed hesitant to travel through the muddy lot. This resulted in traffic backing up onto the main highway. The farm opened at 9AM and the parking lot filled to capacity within two hours. There wasn't sufficient signage at the entrance to divert traffic elsewhere. My advice for visitors is to sport proper footwear, arrive early, and to visit during the week if you can. This is a lovely farm with lots to offer families. read more

We got some pumpkin donuts and the people working on the donuts were very good at their job

We were heading up to Marryhill to do some camping and decided to stop here on our way up. We are beyond glad we did. My gf and I are both UGE (ny accent) Strawberry shortcake fiends. We are also quite partial to peaches and EZ Orchards also offers a peach shortcake. You can opt for either angel food cake or biscuit and we both opted for angel food cakes. The strawberries were fresh from the field and they also serve the dessert with homemade icecream. There is a smile waiting to be unlocked in every single spoonful of these amazing desserts. I am almost positive that the whip cream is also homemade as it had the june se qua aboit that conjures pure decadence. We love hitting up Pat's Acres to go kart racing and now this will be our after racing treat. There is also a farmer's market that we happened to score an super juicy and sweet watermelon at. They also make fudge here but we didn't try any but boy did it look delicious. I highly recommend you stop here to treat yourself to some culinary magic. read more

I went to the shortcake stand with my family yesterday. We got in line at 4:30. We made it to the not guaranteed sign in the line at 5pm, a worker asked us if the sign was there the whole time, we replied yes. She moved the sign up about 6 more customers and told us we won't be served since it's 5pm but we can still go in the store to purchase the items to make our own shortcake. Very bad customer service. I would understand if we got in the line at 5 but we have been standing there 30 min prior to the store and stand being closed. I know no body cares but will not be going there again. read more

Was in the Salem area and just happened to stumble upon this market and the only way I can describe it is absolutely darling! They have an awesome outdoor seating area with picnic tables under large trees providing shade coverage. There also was a busy shortcake stand separate from the market itself that I didn't get to try but it looked like they offered shortcakes, smoothies, and other various treats. The market itself is on the smallish side inside but they do well with the space. Full of seasonal produce, kitchen gadgets/accessories, local products and treats. I walked away from here with a couple of bottles of cider and their fresh donuts which they have rotating flavors on a daily basis. I definitely plan on coming back to shop their market again and to enjoy the shortcake stand and outdoor picnic area! read more

They have a playground that is well kept and good for toddler age and up. The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful! We went to their harvest festival this year. So delightful. The petting area had cute cuddly animals. My son had a blast going down the slide, and playing with the duck races. They also had a corn maze and many photo opportunities.
