I went on a Monday, and I was not disappointed! I was skeptical due to some negative reviews mentioning a lack of scare actors. However, that was not my experience at all. The scare actors were active and appropriately spaced, and the decorations were very well done. Definitely worth it. I'd also recommend the fast pass if you don't want to stand in line for too long.

We've gone the past few years and my kids enjoy it. I do buy the early bird tickets so they're a lot cheaper. This year it was in the same lot but different building. The wait was about an hour for general admission. This year even though they took us with our groups we were all lumped together once we got inside. There were still a few jump scares but you heard the people in front of you scream so knew to brace yourself for something coming lol Overall, I'll continue to come back as long as my kids want to come!

Amazing great experience overall will go again. Scare actors felt very real, every room had a different theme and made it feel non repetitive. Clean building, good people, 10/10 enjoyed

Would DEFINITELY go next year and recommend this haunted house! The fast passes are also worth it. Since you can pay to go to just one or all of the attractions, this seems fair. I'll base this review solely on my experience with The Crypt. The Crypt has nice props and F/X throughout and that's really about it. No scare factors for us hardcore Halloween & horror fans, and no thrills. It was kind of just like, oh wee... Look at the cool display. That's it. If you an 8 year old kid, or just an easily frightened person, you'll love it. However, if you're on a budget (or time schedule) and can't afford to do all of the attractions, so you're wondering which of the 3 you should pick, choose this one; it is by far the best of the 3. Located in the Fiesta Mall parking lot (which is typically a dead giveaway for impending lameness), right off of US-60 and Alma School Rd. Plenty of free parking. Go to their website for a $3 off coupon. Even if you have a Groupon, you must stand in the ticket line to get a physical ticket.

Parking was also an extra cost, but I think if you bought your parking online it was a little bit cheaper. There was a Fear Farm merch tent and a few other tents selling food and drinks. Since we came on Wednesday, I'd say the lines weren't as bad as it may have been on the weekend. However, there were definitely a lot of missed opportunities for jump scares. While everyone in our group did get scared at least once, I thought it would be more scarier. Some of the themes were better than others. I don't think I would come back to this one. There are other haunted places to check out in the valley. I will say that the music they had playing throughout the park that evening was awesome. Not sure if it's always the same, but it was hits from the 90's!

One lane all the way in to a parking lot took about 2 hours, no one directing traffic with the route going all the way around the complex. No bathroom facilities in the parking area so get ready for sitting in your vehicle for hours to make it to a dirt lot. Once you make it to the actual event security is about the same as the airport. You go through metal detectors like you are getting on a plane. The haunted maze was completely empty, just walls and no actors. The haunted houses are cheaply done, no detail, 2-3 actors per house that are just standing there like they are ready to scare a 5 year old, not very scary, the props and scenes are cheap. Probably the worse haunted house event I have ever attended. Nothing about this event was worth the money. Do not spend the extra money on anything. Even if you pay for the fast track parking you will be waiting until the end because there is no other way in!

A con is that the smaller kid activities is way on the other side from the bigger kid activities so if you have kids of different ages, you have one bored and just hanging until the other is done in their section. The food was decent for the most part. The funnel cake bites, turkey leg, and kettle corn were good. The elote corn was eh. The food was decently priced. To get in is $20 each which to me, is a little pricey. There should be kid pricing in my opinion. Parking is ok. They did let a car in front of us hold the line up to wait for a car to leave but when we tried to do it, they made us move. Understandable but rules should be the same for everyone. Most staff was nice. On the way out, they asked about taking a family photo. We declined. My son was on the props I guess (it wasn't labeled and no one was there taking pictures) and one staff was like "this is where we take our pictures just so you know." That was interesting. Maybe post a sign. Not my top pick, but it was a decent time.

So there we were, headed to Castles N' Coasters a wholesome amusement park in the desert... a place…read morefor families, laughter, and apparently, poor decision-making. Now my buddy this man reaches into his pocket and pulls out what I can only describe as a historical artifact. I'm talking a doobie so big it looked like Bob Marley himself rolled it during a greatest hits tour. I said, "Absolutely not. I am a grown man. I got responsibilities. I got a mortgage. I got snacks at home I haven't even finished yet." That didn't matter. Next thing I know, windows are up, car turns into a Dutch oven of bad decisions, and now I'm just along for the ride literally and spiritually. Somewhere between "this is a bad idea" and "why is everything funny," I lost control of the evening. We pull into the park around that magical time you know, that in-between hour... not quite day, not quite night... like God dimmed the lights and said, "Alright boys, let's see what happens." The whole place is glowing neon lights, arcade buzz, roller coasters rattling in the distance. Felt like walking into a carnival dream... or maybe a fever dream. Jury's still out. Now here's the thing about this place it's been around since the late '70s, sitting right there in Phoenix like a desert time capsule of fun. You got four roller coasters, including the Desert Storm, which sounds fun until you're on it reconsidering every life choice that led you there. Then there's the Patriot wooden, loud, and about as gentle as a bar fight. And somehow... SOMEHOW... we thought tequila beforehand was a good idea. So now we're buzzed, slightly baked against our will, and wandering this park like three philosophers who lost their notes. We're laughing at everything. Nothing's funny but everything's hilarious. A trash can? Comedy gold. A churro? Best thing I've ever eaten in my life. A child running past me? I'm emotionally invested in his journey. But I'll give credit where it's due the park itself? Clean. Staff's friendly. Nobody's judging three grown men giggling like idiots. It's got that old-school charm too arcades, mini golf, rides, the whole deal. You can bring a family here... or whatever version of a situation we were. Now the rides... oh, the rides. Let me tell you something nothing will make you rediscover fear like being slightly out of your mind on a roller coaster you thought you could handle. I got scared... not once... not twice... but a few times. The kind of scared where you start making promises to God you don't intend to keep. "I'll be a better man if I survive this drop..." Didn't mean a word of it. By the end of the night, we had the munchies, the laughs, and just enough dignity left to get back to the car without needing a group meeting. For a couple hours, though? We were kids again. No responsibilities. No stress. Just lights, noise, and pure, ridiculous fun. So yeah Castles N' Coasters might be a family amusement park... but under the right or completely wrong circumstances, it turns into one hell of a story. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Just... maybe crack a window on the way there.

So I'm always very careful when I come with my kids, especially on the bigger posters. None of the rides are super dangerous, but I would hate for somebody to fall out!
