We enjoyed this. We thought it would be a maze but instead it was a scary walk through a cornfield. Definitely had some jump scares and good set up of the different areas. Didn't care for other patrons bunching up next to us - don't know why people want to do a haunted attraction, rush through, and cramp other groups....but that is not the fault of the attraction. This was the worst haunted attraction I have ever visited. It is a complete waste of time and money. Just a long walk through the corn with like 5 scare actors that literally did nothing and a couple animatronics that didn't trigger until after we were well past them. The only person that seemed to be interested in participating was the clown with the chainsaw that was chasing people as they exited. Otherwise, this attraction is just plain lame. The field of screams is one of the best in Arizona, food trucks, local concessions also, free parking available. Pricing is fair. Get there early tho. Lines are about 1+ in duration as it gets later. This is my second haunted house in Arizona, the other one I went to last year was 13 floors, and this in my opinion far better. The corn maze was super fun to go through, they had some pretty convincing actors and the animals were such a cool addition that I have not seen at other haunted houses I've been to. After starting to attend haunted houses in 2012, I feel like I'm pretty much a connoisseur of the damned by now. We hit FOS opening night 2014 and it was a blast. I was initially hesitant because of how few days the attraction is open -- only twice a week for a month -- and how reasonable the price was ($16 but you can get a $2 off coupon on their website). We drove past the parking lot once but, once inside, checked out the pumpkins for sale and petting zoo set up. There were a lot of people congregated at the trampoline/race track and a handful of families entering the fun maze but it was nothing like the never-ending queues that seem to make up certain haunted houses. There is no fast pass option here so plan accordingly -- can't just throw money at a long wait here. There were about three groups ahead of us when we got to the haunted maze entrance. They stagger your entrance time and, for us, it worked. We never came close to the group ahead of us, keeping the spooks fresh and unexpected. Don't know what their max group size is -- we had 4. Not going to drop any specifics about the haunt but it was very well done. Going through the corn is a whole other experience from the conventional haunted house. Yes -- it is a single path, not a maze -- but there are so many turns on the path that you are constantly "in the moment" rather than the conventional walk-into-room-get-spooked-walk-out-of-the-room format. All in all, it wasn't the biggest (no fair attractions or food booths) but it was the best haunted house experience I've had in Phoenix. I'd recommend shoes since I wore flip flops and, though it says no running, you will get some startles that will have you almost pushing Jenny over in hopes of saving yourself (or, at least, I did). read more

I really wanted to enjoy this. I had tried a few times to get a group together to go; eventually tonight (Halloween) I convinced my wife to go even tho she hates these things and was tired. Long story short: 1. they have too many people coming. The line we were in moved about 100 feet in one hour. There must have been over 1000 people in line. I don't know how many they let in at a time, but it wasn't enough. 2. The wait was boring. Twice I saw a very well done Freddie Krueger walk down the line (assuming he was counting people, because he wasn't trying to scare them). I also saw some drunks get kicked out. That was entertaining. 3. The line was boring. How about setting up some concession stands with hot drinks while everyone waits for over an hour to get to the front. Or bring the scare out of the cornfield also. Play a harmonica. ANYTHING. At least they refunded my money. Advice to management: Move line as fast as possible. Make line not boring. read more

This is based on the lack of care for having an outdoor event without the slightest care for COVID-19 pandemic. Our family visits yearly and we looked forward to this year, as it is outdoors in a large space. However, they did not enforce 6' distance, people were not required to wear masks (and plenty of workers did not wear masks or had them below the nose), no crowd control, and it seemed like any other year. We are in a pandemic and I expected some care and dilligence expected by the AZ State mandates. As a result, we turned back, two weekends in a row and we know other families who did the same. I understand the need to maintain normalcy during these times and Halloween being a family event, but it means little if people are getting sick as a result and the organizers have no care for creating opportunities to spread COVID. read more

My fiancé and I have been here twice now and we love it. I specially really love the staff there. We had taken our friends 5-year-old into the haunted corn maze with us while she waited on the outside. When we were in there the scarers were really good with him and nice. However, he got really scared by one of the animatronics. So when we got to the man behind the glass at the butcher shop and told him that he wanted to go out to his mom he immediately took off part of his costume and came out to walk us back to the exit so that we could get him to his mom. The actor was so nice and talked to him the whole time. We really appreciated how he helped us and didn't want to make him anymore scared than he already was. After we got him to his mom we were able to go back to where we were and complete the maze. 10/10 customer service! read more

Took my husband here for a little haunted date. In all his 50 years, he'd never been to a corn maze. I had so I have something to compare to. The price is steep. It's only worth 8~10$/person. Parking is tight. True, they only have a few scenes. If something is called a maze, you're supposed to be able to get lost in it, right? This is not a maze. You follow one pathway. I was confused about why I couldn't leave the trail and actually get confused! But my husband enjoyed having jokesters jump out at him. Ive been to lots of haunted mazes here in phoenix, l.a. , boston and i still pick az field of screams as my favorite haunted house i go to every year for the past 3 or 4 years. I really like it because of the animals that run around there. For 20$ price you get the haunted maze and get to pet animals. The thing about this maze is that its real dirty because its outside of course and there was a few times where you have to crawl on the ground in the dirt. Also there's the annoying sheet things that you have to squeeze thru and hope you don't suffocate. If you can handle stuff like that then you're good. A heads up for new people there is always atleast 1 or 2 evil clown actors. I personally want to work there as an actor. Ive gone through this maze by myself 2 times and im a woman. Loved this! We originally were headed over to Fear Farm but when we saw the masses, and I mean cars for miles we turned around and headed over to AZ Field of Screams instead. This place is family owned and operated and incredibly adorable! It's the perfect place for a haunted date with your significant other. They have pumpkin patch, farm animals and two options of either a haunted maze or a puzzle maze (geared towards kids). We did the haunted maze, it was just scary enough. There aren't a plethora of demons and monsters popping out at all times but the anxiety of walking through the maze anticipating them jumping out was scary enough. On a beautiful Friday night we visited the haunted corn maze. It was well done and a long walk at 1 mile, however the missing ingredient to anything haunted is to worry what is around the next corner. Because of the mile long walk it might have been too much for the owners to staff with ghouls, so it fell short of that. There are parts to the walk where you kind of sink into the ground so may not be suitable for certain individuals, but certainly an enjoyable time for young adults and big kids like us. read more

Got in line right away for Haunted Corn Field Maze. The line was not that long and we were not too far back but we still waited over an hour. Friendly actors that made it fun. Long walk through path with interesting scenes and several jump scares. Well done! Would go again. $20 when we walked out the line was 4X as long as it was when we got in. Terrible haunted attraction. Waited in line for 2 hours to get in, then there were only 5 scenes in the corn maze. There were hardly any actors, we just walked through corn with nothing jumping out at us. The very first scene we came to the actor was talking to another actor then he saw us and made a very sad attempt to scare us. It didn't work! I would defintely not recommend this place. Omg we had an amazing and screaming time. We went on Halloween night and enjoyed the petting areas before we entered the Field of Screams. We were about 8th in line and what I loved is they take you in by your group so the party before us went they a few minutes later my husband and I started. Once in there's no turning back and you spend the next 30-40 minutes walking thru a corn field where every few turns you risk encountering zombies, masked killers, ghouls and your worse nightmare. I was surprised how much they were able to pull off and all the hidden surprises thru out the maze. A few times what I thought was a prop ended up being a real person. So watch your back. Loved it! Adds to the experience that you walk through the maze in your small group or as a couple... the suspense of walking through the maze hearing screams in the distance of other people just waiting for that monster to pop out.... VERY well done. The maze leaves you disoriented (in a fun scary way) and the actors did a great job scaring you when you least expect it and when you did expect it! The props are awesome! Great job!!!! The best deal in town too! Plenty for adults and kids! There is a petting zoo with some cute farm animals and lots of activities that will keep your own little monsters busy for hours!! There is food and some really nice pumpkins you can purchase... as well as some farm produce and foods... we got some preserves we can't wait to try :) It's not just a place to go... it's an adventure! .. and the best part is supporting a local farmer/family. read more

Went with a couple of friends, who had to pick me up a few times. I am not afraid of chainsaws (Fear Farm), but people jumping out at me does scare the bejesus out of me. Even though I know it's coming, they got me every time. We did get off the path once and the dude with the chainsaw trapped us. But it was one dude, not 12. Rode the tricycle around the track afterwards and cracked up. Nothing like acting like a 10 year old on Halloween! read more

I went to AZ Field Of Screams on a Sat night with a group of 4. We had a fantastic time! The petting zoo and pumpkin patch were sweet, The parking was easy, and the line was only about 20 min. The best part was the lack of annoying teenagers. (my group was late 20's) The maze lasted about 30-40 min. They did a great job setting up the spooky scenes. If you do not scare easily it may not be the best choice for you, but I had a blast and suggest this venue to others. read more
