They also sell their ketchup in a bottle for take home. The restaurant looks small but they do have a patio area in the back. Plenty of free parking on the street or at the back.

Our waters were quickly dropped by the young lady who sat us, and we were then handed off to our server. We sort of got lost in the shuffle, and sat for a bit before she came by. We ordered our beverages and food at the same time, which we typically do not do. Our food came out before our beverages which I am never a fan of. My Togarashi Orange bowl was a big portion, but I got none of the Togarashi nor orange in it. It had a hint of heat which was great. The mango had no taste at all. K's Beef dip was ok, but lacked real flavour and the au jus was just alright. We also felt the fries were a little sparse. One of them pointed out where the rain jackets were so I could make a quick selection, returned back to the counter, only find nobody there. I waited almost 10 minutes, started saying hello to the back of the store to see if I could get one person to come back to the counter to make the purchase. An elderly lady made her way in the front, she had great difficulty walking so was agitated because I had asked her to come to the front to make the sale. She quickly said to me that, "what do you expect someone to sit in Mandy front counter all day" I said yes most shops have counter staff to prevent theft however , I just like some customer service. My boss is outside waiting on me , I'd like to purchase this this jacket. Then had a over weight Karen customer starts on me calling me an ass hole Repeatedly???, I could only say to her to mind her own business, wow, the old lady says how about we call the police on you...? And I said to wear for asking for customer service please do, why don't you call the police, if I had the time I'd call mysel,. I'm not sure if this is how you treat people of colour in your store, (maybe she was thinking are like the American police). 2 white privileged women wanting to call the police, while I did not raise my voice or use bad language, just ask for service to make a purchase. I asked for the manager to come over. She spoke to me in a precarious & Patronizing tone, Then, intentionally charge me full price when product was on for 25% off. I could see the direction of situation it was transparent so then decided to not make the purchase and leave the store. Marks work wear world is an excellent place to shop, just not at the sechelt location, especially if you're any other race, you'll be treated Like you should've never walked in the door.

Fours stars for a typically dull off-sales... Say what?…read more Well... I learned a valuable lesson over the weekend. That the little stores sometimes get stuck with "random" bottles of wine that they can't sell to their regulars. So there we were loading up from their limited selection of REAL ciders and we (OK, so it was Crystal H) noticed a 2005 Razer's Edge Shiraz sitting all alone on the shelf. Uh........ "Holy Sechelt", I yelped. The elusive '05 RE. That is an incredible bottle of wine that I searched out in Vancouver 4 years ago with very limited success. I miraculously found one in a BC liquor store and cellared it for three years. And when I finally opened it last year... well, lets just say there was some magic happening at the dinner table. Back to the lesson at Lighthouse. Of course I bought their lonely bottle. And it is likely that it's already peaked in taste. But who cares. What a find! Support the little guys, and you just never know what you may discover.
