The car ended up having major issues with the EGR cooler and cooling system, which caused misfires, rough starts, and concerns about possible head gasket damage. These were not small maintenance items--they were expensive and stressful repairs that made the car unreliable right after purchase. I had to spend additional time and money just to get the vehicle running properly. What makes this more frustrating is that after looking into the dealership further, I found multiple similar reviews from other customers describing the same kind of experience--hidden problems, lack of transparency, and being left to deal with costly repairs after the sale. I understand buying a used car "as-is" comes with responsibility, but dealerships should still be honest and upfront about known major issues. I'm leaving this review so others can be cautious and do a very thorough inspection before buying from Auto Triad Group. I would strongly advise future buyers to be careful and possibly pick a different dealer, considering this isnt the first time. I included pictures of just some of the things I had to do, I didn't get pictures of the worst part, but the EGR cooler was completely clogged with little to no airflow. On the technical side, I am not a mechanic by any means but I like to tinker with cars and I've repaired some simple parts on some other vehicles we've had; given this background, I was very pleased to see that the owners actually knew about these hybrid vehicles very well, not only that, they also offer very convenient services for refurbishing or replacing the batteries and other preventive maintenance and they are very open about what any particular car requires in order to keep them in good conditions. So, in other words, this is a place where the owners like and know what they sell, believe in a pressure free are very proud of their service and are prepared to provide some basic maintenance and repairs for a very reasonable price. My girlfriend and I are very happy to have found this place and we strongly recommend it.
