Lexus oh Lexus I am a loyal customer why did you try to deceive me? Went to Lexus yesterday on Jonestown in Winston to get an oil change which is now 166.00. WHO KNEW! They called me and sent a video telling me I needed two filters one inside and out they were dirty. It was going to cost 200.00. I said wait I just had both changed last month. The guy basically said Jiffy Lube didn't change them and just left old ones in. I go to Jiffy Lube the tech pull out both filters they are clean and new. He looked at my receipt and matched up item numbers. I then call Lexus complain to the manager. He apologizes and refunds my 166.00. Thank ya but why yall playing? Now I don't trust ya!! read more

I purchased a CPO Lexus RX 350H in February 2024. When the vehicle was brought in for an oil change, I was told that it needed a four-wheel alignment and balancing was not included in rotation. This was 3 months after purchase and the car had been through the inspection regime to qualify as CPO. I was not happy and went to the GM. After some discussion, they agreed to cover the cost of realignment and balancing. Well, my car was back in the shop this week for regular service and guess what, they told me it needed a four-wheel realignment again. My trust in this dealership is lost. Lexus is a great brand and the building is immaculate. But they behave like any 3rd rate shop, trying to scare the customer into spending additional dollars. Flow Lexus of Winston Salem lures potential buyers to the dealership by advertising one vehicle at a certain price this time they are using a 2020 Cadillac Luxury SUV, The deceiving salesman is Kevin L. Doss Senior Certified Salesman which we interpret as a long term deceiver. Kevin said up front "they don't play games". We are sitting down to buy the Cadillac. Kevin Doss is taking information; at this point the prideful lying manger Scott Hunter walks in and say's "I hate to be the one to bring bad news the 2020 Cadillac has sold they forgot to take it off the lot". The Cadillac is still being advertised day's later! Kevin then tries to sell a different, more expensive vehicle 2022 Lexus RX 350 which is a complete downgrade compared to the Cadillac. My wife and I weren't sure if we wanted a new or gently used GX 460. JJ helped us to understand the differences and was really great to work with. We almost bought a new GX 460 and then changed our minds and purchased an L/Certified GX 460. JJ made the whole process really easy and didn't miss a beat when we changed our minds. My experience has been that Flow Lexus has the cleanest nicest selection of pre-owned Lexuses in the area. We looked around a lot and found that the cars on Flow's lot were very well cared for and hard to distinguish between new and pre-owned side by side inside and out. I also appreciated that the L/Certified warranty was only applied to cars that were closer to the end of the manufacturer warranty. That is a nice touch since the L/Certified warranty does add some cost to the sticker price. They gave us a great price on our trade-in too. Above trade in on KBB and Edmunds when I had looked it up. This was the easiest, lowest pressure experience I've ever had buying a car. Throughout the whole process we were presented our options and weren't pushed to do anything (including in the finance office). I can't recommend Flow Lexus highly enough and definitely ask to work with JJ as he has been with Flow Lexus for 15 years. Great experience here. read more

Quoted me $98 for cabin air filter change Tried to tell me I needed spark plugs (just changed Iridiums) they looked at nothing Said the belts were crack I inspected They weren't They just put on the sheet all the wear and tear items Whether you just drove out of another dealership the other day with all the same stuff Staff and salesman are friendly Appts are timely Car detailers are better for simple wash than other dealerships but still leave behind rim dust in the outside star inside is acceptable not outside Seem to turn wrenches the right way in what you hire them to do Had a thin complimentary snack bar for Lexus customers which included a few drinks a couple candy bars, trail mix, The Charlotte Lexus has a full blown area dedicated to customer's for snacks and drinks Full size candy cars, cappuccino machines a dozen different types of drinks Salted and sugary snacks Something that let's you know they care Their selection was extremely minimal compared to other Lexus dealers I poured a traditional coffee because that's all your getting here basically except a giant fridge with a 9 pack of coke and 9 pack of Mtn dew and a selection of coffee That's it They are charging $100 to change a $3 cabin air filter that takes 2 mins and they did away with their entire complementary snack bar They could sell one cabin air filter to pay product cost , labor and use the remainder to graciously stock the snack bar for 6 mos Just sad really Lexus is about service and the extra mile and that's why they charge more read more

I am very disappointed in the service department at Flow Lexus of Winston-Salem. I brought my car in for a recall and a yearly inspection and was greeted by a condescending woman named Susi Todd (who I have not met before). She noticed that my low tire light was on and I said "yes I think it may have come on with the new drop in temperature". She was very quick to inform me in a demeaning tone that if the tires were properly inflated they wouldn't get low in the cold otherwise everyone in the north would have that problem. She also commented in disgust that my car was clearly parked outside as opposed to in a garage when I asked if it could be washed. I decided to ignore her tone and move along. About 50 minutes after I dropped the car off she called me to tell me I needed 3 things fixed on the car. I said "ok well did it still pass inspection?" She told me "yes" and I told her I would wait on making a descion on further repairs. When I returned to pick up my car Susi seemed very flustered and proceeded to tell me they failed my car for the inspection because of the window tint. I was very surprised to hear this as I have owned the car since 2013 in the state of NC and it has passed inspection every year with the same window tint... even when inspected at Flow Lexus of Winston Salem. I told her I was very confused by this and she then began to develop a hostile tone. When I proceeded to say I was concerned that it had passed their inspection before she began to raise her voice at me. Susi then said she would have the mechanic explain to me why the tint failed. She got on the phone to call him and when he didn't answer she abruptly got up from her desk and exclaimed "why won't anyone answer the DAMN phone!" I sat there in shock at her unprofessionalism and waited for her to return. The mechanic came and showed me that the tint was an inch or two too low on the windshield. The only reason why this review is getting one star is because they were kind enough to refer me to a place where I can have it removed (and that place was very nice over the phone). read more

I am still in disbelieve as to the service I received from this place, very different from the Greensboro location. I went to get my oil change, 2 1/2 hours later my car was finally ready. Invoice was over $200.00, I asked for a copy and was told that it was in my car. I'm driving down the road and noticed no invoice, I also noticed one of my tires was very low and loosing air. I had to go back to the dealer to get it fixed, apparently they " found a nail" in the tire which they fixed without prior authorization. No apology for not fixing it properly, I had to spend another hour at the dealer for them to put a spare on my car. When I finally demanded a copy of the bill I was told they made a mistake and over charged me to plug the tire. Now I have to wait 2-3 for a refund for being over charged which they said was a typo. I would never agree to get my good tire plugged, I would yet it patched. I also missed my work appointment in the afternoon due to the fact that I had to go back when my tire was flat. So many other things that went wrong that are not even worth mentioning. LEXUS DID FIX THE PROBLEM AND AGREED TO PAY FOR MY TIRE WHICH I'M GRATEFUL FOR. THANK YOU FOR MAKING IT RIGHT read more

We arrived this morning after driving 1.5 hours and the RX that we were wanting to look at was sold last night. We were told we would be notified if the vehicle sold. So we wouldnt waste a trip, but no one called, text or emailed. They proceeded show us a white 2013 RX350 that was priced $4,000 over what it should be listed for. Price was 23,998, kbb had it at most $21,000, thats if it was in perfect condition which it wasnt, their was very deep scratches in the paint on the rear gate, then they tried to give us only $20,000 on our trade which was a 2018 jaguar F-pace 3.0t prestige with technology package. He said he had took the 2013 RX350 in on trade for $21k and couldn't sell it for 20k. We were look at it like, so he means to tell us, he took a 10 year old blemished RX in on trade and gave that owner 21k, but only wanted to give us $20k on a 2018 jaguar in mint condition. We were getting screwed on the trade and the rx. It was an automatic deal killer. This ended up being a total waste of our time. read more

I called to see if this dealership offered a service to pick up my car from work to have its 70,000 mileage maintenance. I was extremely impressed, they came to my workplace and picked up my car and took it back to have it serviced and then brought it back to my workplace. I was very appreciative of this service. When they called for me to pay for the service, he told me that I could call any time that I needed and they would be happy to come to my workplace and get my car for any service. When I purchased my new Lexus IS from this dealership in April of this year, nothing could have prepared me for the what lay ahead of me.When I took my new car into this dealership April due to paint defects, I was assured by the Service Manager that any and all measures would be taken to insure the matter would be resolved to my complete satisfaction. Trusting them as I did purchase this new car there in April, and having Wally assure me along with several other employees, I would be completely satisfied with the work by the Service Dept. I agreed to leave my car there for several days. I was informed at first it was acid rain, then no it was tree sap,then no, we aren't sure what has happened to cause the numerous spots on your vehicle but rest assured, we will remove them. Upon being called to come pick my vehicle up and assured all of the blemishes were removed from the paint , I drove over to the dealership, well, it clear that my vehicle was worse for the wear. Now there was even more damage. Spider webs, buff marks, scratches on my car. And the red spots and blemishes were still present. I informed the Service Manager along with inside management that this was unacceptable. To date, since leaving that dealership not one person has contacted me. I have telephoned Mike Beck the salesman I purchased my vehicle from only to be informed he cannot assist me. Requested that the owner Vic Flow contact me and that the Management from the dealership contact me. NOT ONE PERSON HAS. I have contact Lexus Corporation and find them impossible to work with. Brenna is in charge of the case. She tells me that Wally is working with her, and no one within management other than he, has. Why? They buffed my car creating what is called Spiderwebs causing further damage to it. They have offered to repaint my entire car!!!! Are you kidding me??? That would lower the value of my car to say the least. And, my neighbor also had a black SUV she purchased at this same dealership whom, traded her even out of that into a grey SUV according to her due to defective paint. I would avoid this dealership at all costs!!!! So, why am I treated any differently than she was? Race? Age? Gender? Do any of these play a factor? read more

I have purchased 5 cars from this dealership. Three were purchase and 2 leases. In 2017 I was called upon by a salesperson and advised that I could trade my car in, same deal as the prior year, no down payment and same terms where I could trade it in after one or two years. I took the bait and later learned that they had received a $5000 rebate on my trade, had me locked in at a 4 year lease. So this week, I went in to purchase a vehicle with my trade in on the lease. I was told that I was $8,000 underwater on the trade and my payments would be $900 a month. I explained that I was told (yes, I was rushed thru financing and felt I could trust after 5 deals) that their financial guy (who had misrepresented the lease when ask multiple times) had been fired due to numerous mistakes. The manager didn't attempt to correct "their" issue. Google the dealership and you will see that I am not the only one with this exact issue. Go to a different Lexus dealership! read more
