HBI Auto: These are in the know "race car guys" servicing and selling Bad A.. exotic cars!…read more As a lifelong Porsche enthusiast and former owner of two Carreras I "happened" upon HBI in my car search. While the website inventory listing is very impressive, I was "blown away" when I arrived at the business. The inventory is expansive and exceptional- the Carrera selection is impressive! The sales team was knowledgeable, honest, and straightforward. The same can be said for the service/transport/detailing teams. The lines of communication and follow up are excellent. After several discussions w the owner he explained his current and future vision of his business, coupled with my dealings with his team, validated my decision to do business w HBI. Additionally, HBI will pick up and service my car. I am extremely happy that I purchased my 991.1 C4S from HBI Auto. You would be remiss if you do not consider HBI Auto when considering to purchase a Porsche or other exotic car. Jan 15, 2026 ...16 Months and 20,000 miles later, combined with my 991.1 C4S service obsession ( (2) oil changes, 60 K Full Service, (2) alignments, Expel Protection), allows me to comment on HBI experiences from multiple perspectives i.e. Sales, Service, Detailing, Transportation. I reside 150 miles from HBI yet they treat me like a local customer. It's comforting to know that if the car should "lay down" HBI is on the way; it's happened to me ! They pick up and return without charge. What Porsche dealer does these things? My initial purchase review of HBI stated " you would be remiss if you don't consider HBI ". Today, I still stand by that review; but, with stronger and positive first hand opinions of the HBI team !

I purchased a Ferrari 488 from HBI Auto and had the vehicle shipped to me out of state…read more After delivery, I noticed that the mileage on the car was higher than the mileage listed in the odometer disclosure provided during the transaction. The disclosure stated 23,937 miles, while the vehicle arrived showing 26,378 miles. I contacted the dealership to discuss the discrepancy but we have not been able to resolve the issue so far. Because of this, I submitted complaints with the appropriate regulatory agencies for review. I recommend that buyers carefully confirm vehicle details, especially when purchasing remotely.

I purchased a Vehicle from Auto Triad Group and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience…read more I bought the vehicle "as-is," trusting that the dealership had been honest about its condition, but the very next day after purchasing it, I discovered serious problems that should have been disclosed upfront. The car ended up having major issues with the EGR cooler and cooling system, which caused misfires, rough starts, and concerns about possible head gasket damage. These were not small maintenance items--they were expensive and stressful repairs that made the car unreliable right after purchase. I had to spend additional time and money just to get the vehicle running properly. What makes this more frustrating is that after looking into the dealership further, I found multiple similar reviews from other customers describing the same kind of experience--hidden problems, lack of transparency, and being left to deal with costly repairs after the sale. I understand buying a used car "as-is" comes with responsibility, but dealerships should still be honest and upfront about known major issues. I'm leaving this review so others can be cautious and do a very thorough inspection before buying from Auto Triad Group. I would strongly advise future buyers to be careful and possibly pick a different dealer, considering this isnt the first time. I included pictures of just some of the things I had to do, I didn't get pictures of the worst part, but the EGR cooler was completely clogged with little to no airflow. I tried cleaning it, but it was too solidified, so I had to purchase a new part costing me $600. and totaling out at just about $800 in repairs. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere.

The vehicle was very clean and in great shape with no dents or scratches. I asked Ronnie if there had been any issues with the car in which he replied , "no" . I also asked when the oil had been changed and he said he actually had changed it himself recently for his friend . I had the oil changed 3 days after I purchased the car. A week and 1/2 later , the oil light came on showing a quart of oil was needed. I took it back to the mechanic who checked for oil leaks , however none were found and he put in a quart of oil. 2 weeks later the oil light came back on with the alert to add a quart of oil. I then took it to the Volvo dealership in Winston Salem NC who discovered the oil had been leaking into the engine which had been occurring for an extended amount of time . A new oil trap and hose was replaced however the mechanic said this was a temporary fix as the vehicle needs a new engine due to the amount of damage it has incurred . Ronnie had to know there was a problem with the oil . I was so disappointed in him when he didn't reveal this especially when I asked him if the oil had been changed recently . I know he sells 'as is' but he should had revealed that there may be a problem with the oil. I contacted him and informed him what the dealership had discovered and requested that I return the car and receive a refund . He offered a full trade and did send me the car fax on two similar vehicles. I asked if these two were in good condition and he answered yes but after researching the car fax reports , I discovered both vehicles had been involved in 2 accidents each. Ronnie and his son were very polite but I lost trust in Ronnie and was afraid of purchasing another vehicle with hidden issues . I am so disappointed in him not revealing there was a potential problem with the oil . If he had taken the car back and given me a refund , that would had at least shown integrity on his part as an businessman .

I am not a car expert but I asked the dealer if there was anything wrong with the car before buying it. I said no and after I bought it not even two weeks of having the car that it started to break down on me. Fist the breaks then the fuel line then the head gas caskets which they did offer to replace but really didn't, just kept my car for a whole week then gave it back without fixing it at all. And now the radiator... the car was a dude from the beginning. Not to mention that the they rode out my full tank of gas before giving it back to me after pretending to fix the gaskets. This is not a good dealer and I wouldn't trust them with a car battery. Let alone trust them to sale a decent car. Not to mention the car fab that they were supposed to order they never did. This place is trash and so is the cars. Don't go to them, you've been warned.
