I wore sweatpants and a sweatshirt the next drive in 100 degree heat. I didn't tell my parents I was too scared. Then I saw a Desert Sun news report after where another girl was telling my same story. How is he still in operation? I hope someone else reports him. I can't believe he is still there. Itinerary: -1h classroom safety/racing fundamentals (lots of good info for the road, too) -Emergency mid-corner braking from highway speeds--M4 xdrive -Last-minute lane change, followed by emergency braking, from highway speeds--M2 -Skidpad (controlled initiation and recovery of oversteer/drifting)--M5 sedan -Lead/follow track laps at The Thermal Club raceway (real race track, adjacent to BMW's lower-speed "training oriented" facility) -Lunch (really a highlight. 2 salads, chicken breast, homemade meatballs. Driving was my biggest fear, and I was terrified of getting behind the wheel. From the very beginning, Georgette made me feel completely at ease. She never once made me feel embarrassed about my fears, instead, she lifted me up and encouraged me to push forward. What started as a student-instructor relationship quickly turned into a genuine friendship. I felt so comfortable with her that I was able to talk to her about personal things, and she was always there to listen and offer support. She made every single lesson feel like I was driving with a friend, all while teaching me everything I needed to know.
