I had gone to this salon before for a pedicure and decided to go again to have a full set of…read moreacrylic nails removed and get a gel manicure since I was in the area. Nancy was assigned to do my nails and did not speak one word of English. The only reason I bring this up is because typically, when you need to get your nails removed, they soak your fingernails for a few minutes to loosen the bond, then clip them off of your natural nails piece by piece. Well, an hour and a half later, they finally removed. It was not communicated to me clearly that they did a different process to preserve the nail by slowly filing it down then soaking your nails, then slowly filing it down then soaking your hands times 11! Literally, it took over an hour and a half to get them removed. Nancy was rough with my fingers. She had sharp nails and dug them into my fingers while she was rolling them from side to side to work on my nails. It was painful and I tried to explain to her not to grip my fingers so tightly. She also cut my one of my cuticles. I know I have thin cuticles - I tried to explain that to her but she didn't understand. The manager should have stepped in and explained the process better and communicated to Nancy my complaints. They had me soak my nails for over 25 minutes with foil wraps before switching me out to have John be my new nail technician. John was wonderful. We were able to have a nice conversation and he did a great job. However, I did have an appointment I needed to go to and I was late to it because when I walked into the salon at 12:30, I had no idea it wouldn't be until 2:00 pm before that process was done. I will not be returning.

We came just after opening on a Saturday and were able to sit immediately. There are so many color options and all the classic options for pedicure types. My only thing is that the services are a little on the pricier side. However, our technicians were both so friendly, listened to our individual requests, and did a fantastic job overall! The daughter even got me a glass of wine and talked with me about the messy reality show that was on the tv. I hate to do this update but i have to be honest because i left the shop this time feeling a bit differently than last time. I got more services, paying $100 (almost 3 times more than what I paid the first time); I wasn't as enthusiastic with what i walked out with. Particularly my toes. I got a manicure and a pedicure and while the manicure was AMAZING the pedicure was not done particularly well. When my little slippers were being put on she scraped my big toe. I asked if id moved (Even though i know i didn't i just didn't want her to feel bad because she was so nice!) She said it was fine. I thought she'd redo the nail but instead she just painted over the bald spot causing a kind of translucent dip and very thick paint. I didn't notice until i got home that several toes weren't painted properly. Also, i finished removing the dead skin because there were spots still left. Although, i must say, she did remove most of it and it was easy to get the patches left behind (I'm sure its easy to miss some and my feet weren't in the best shape). I'm going to repaint my toes tomorrow, and while I'm at it, I'll have to touch up my nails because the paint is already coming off the edges and there's a small chip on my left thumb. I understand these things can happen but i wouldn't imagine on the same day I've had them done. Also since i got the gel i thought it would last a bit longer. So overall not the way i saw this going but because its such a friendly welcoming environment id still come back.

Chrome nails usually have a base of either white or black. At first o thought they were going to be ok, but when she was done I got up and compared the to the nails in the display. Nothing like what I asked for. When I pointed this out to the tech, she actually yelled at me and said i shouldve said I didn't like it sooner. That it was too late. Why even display something you don't have available. Looking back, she was pushing me up go with something else, but why not just say it wasn't available? Why try to pass something else off as what I asked for? I might get passed out of the work was at least quality, but out was not. And for all this, I paid a $30 tip. My lashes were over-processed, with the ends looking fried and some curled in odd directions. I followed all aftercare instructions and did not expose them to steam or water for 24 hours. There was also wax left on my brows, which made the service feel rushed and carelessly done.
