I had an appointment at 11 AM which I made days ago. When I arrived, the business was closed with the lights off and no one answered the phone at the Sunset Valley location or the Kyle location. There were no signs on the door about being closed for Memorial Day. Their website didn't mention anything either and it hasn't been updated since Christmas. I waited for 30 minutes since last time this happened they were just running a few minutes late. I was not notified that they would be closed. Their hours are listed as opening up at 9:30 AM which is false. I've come to this location several times and I usually enjoy my experience, but this is not the first time that I am locked out as a customer and all it takes is simple communication. If something came up and they had to close, that is completely understandable. However, no one told me. I came and wasted my time and now I have to find a new salon to get my service done for graduation. It is currently 1142 as I'm writing this post and they still have not shown up. read more

Went on a Tuesday morning. It was quiet and not busy. I had an appointment for 10 but the nail tech wasn't there yet. So they sat me down to look at colors. Started around 10:20. Went in to kill time and get a pedicure while my car was being detailed across the street. Receptionist was super attentive and the nail tech was sweet and the pedicure was great. I found myself here after eating at a pho restaurant in the same plaza. Something I immediately noticed was the diversity in the staff. I like that I could understand everyone and didn't feel confused or feel out of place. Everyone was mindful and explained everything I had questions about, even the fact that they not affiliated with the old nail shop that used to be there. I got the organic manicure and pedicure and really enjoyed the paraffin wax. Somethings I also noticed and thought was very nice was the fact that they did not file my nails too much. I have paper thin nails that rip easily so that is a major plus. The staff was really nice and gentle when filing down my trouble areas on my feet and trust me, they did a great job. Meticulous work on pedicure. Krissy is very welcoming, a good conversationalist and keeps the salon running smoothly. Plus, she'll give you a couple of adult beverages during your session. The Herbal Package was $62 but I feel that is totally reasonable given the quality of the work, attention to detail and the relaxing environment. It's been a week since my birthday mani-pedi and I haven't forgotten this experience. I had great service where the staff went above and beyond my expectations. My feet and hands felt nourished and healthy and I was super relaxed the entire time. My partner loved his pedicurist who worked diligently to soften up his feet. they even sang me happy birthday! And kept the wine coming for my partner during our services. The entire staff was super friendly and provided a calm relaxing atmosphere. So glad my partner surprised me with this place! read more

I so rarely write reviews, especially bad reviews. So I hope this spa will take this review as a call to do better, improve, retain customers. As a fellow business person, this is not to try to clown your business. I had so much hope for this place. I really wanted them to be good. I consider myself one of the most reasonable (though boundaried) customers any business will have to deal with. I got mani pedi with gel nails, and my first point of turn off was 2 girls who were working on me giggling while talking in Spanish while talking about me because I had asked about a service that didn't make sense to them, instead of checking with me. You do know people can understand other languages even if they might not speak it fluently, right? But I ignored that and let it go. My main beef here was that I got the mani with gel and my right thumb nail gel peeled off on one side literally 2 hours after I got back home. I took pictures immediately and texted them. No response. Next day I called, found a very rude girl who insisted the boss wasn't in and I should call back a few hours later, as she rushed me off the phone. Well, I actually have a life, so I couldn't call until next day. I spoke to the boss (I recognized his voice) and he rudely told me he was with another client. I asked him if he'd received my texts, he seemed lost. I hurriedly explained to him why I was calling, and am I able to come in for a repair (by this time, the left thumb had also started to crumble). Boss rudely said: yeah you can just come by any time. I didn't go by any time. I loathe bad customer service. I will tolerate something done badly as long as the person is nice and pleasant to me. I'm also in the service business, if you can't muster "the tone" for good customer service, then don't have a customer facing job. So not only do they have mediocre service, they are also rude and dismissive. I now understand why for the entire time I was getting my nails done, I was the only customer there. read more

Brandon the owner and nail tech did a horrible job on my nails 6 broke in 4 days .while continuously talking down to me and being horribly rude He refused to redo my nails and even threatened to call the police just because I dared to ask.I wouldn't send my worse enemy there! DO NOT waste your time and money. I never write reviews, but the service was so bad I felt compelled to warn others! Arrived a few mins after they opened, a (sort of rude) girl was there but said the technicians weren't in yet but theyd be there soon. Fine, no problem. They arrived 15 mins after they open. The woman who did my pedicure didn't speak a word of English, which is fine, until she tried to push products on me, and wouldn't take no for an answer. I was in a hurry so just wanted the basic pedicure ($28 for 30 mins it says in their brochure) She asked me over and over if I wanted "wak" I didn't understand but said no thanks at least 3 times. Then she gets up and comes back with a plastic bag filled with wax, showing me what she meant. Now this bag of wax would go to waste if I didn't agree to it....? That was annoying. Then I asked how much. She said $5. I said fine cuz was sick of going back and forth with her. She even wrote down on a piece of paper - $25 + $5. She had the price of the pedicure wrong but whatever. Then I got to checkout. The cashier from earlier asks the lady that did my pedicure what the $5 was for. I looked at the brochure and noticed that wax was supposed to be $12. So I don't know where the mixup. But instead of just charging me the $5 so I could leave (I had been there for OVER AN HOUR at this point), she goes back the other guy in the store and they argue for a minute. She comes back and says the wax will be $7. I MEAN.....!!!! I can't even deal. But ok whatever I pay it. And THEN, I can't believe there's more but there is :-0 She had JUST finished painting toes, so I sat down to let them dry for a few mins. There was NOBODY ELSE in the salon, just the 3 workers. They tell me they don't have drying machines, she picks up my shoes and starts to have me exit the salon. So so strange. I waited for 20 mins with their flimsy flip flop things on before changing into shoes/socks. But sure enough, the polish on 2 of the toes was smudged. Worst pedicure experience of my life. The owner was the only one working when I got there and was rushing the whole time he was doing my manicure and pedicure even though it was just the two of us in the building. He made three of my fingers bleed as well as my pinky toe and then blamed it on me. He never even put cuticle oil on any of my nails. I went in yesterday and he was rushing and I've gotten my nails done for years and MEVER had one of the glued nails just pop off WHILE we were barely starting and I should've seen the red flag there. I went home and not even 2 hours later, I simply laid in bed to relax, barely moved a throw blanket and 2 nails popped off. Overall, the salon was very nice and clean with a large color selection. There are only (2) people who work there so the service is very slow, though they are both very nice. The quality of my manicure was not good. Within a week, all of my nails have broken. Not just chipped polish but truly broken nails. Negative reviews are accurate. Beautiful modern place but... Nail technicians don't speak one word of English so you can't communicate your desires. They are not experienced & take forever. Skips many basic steps in the services. No toe or leg massage with pedicure. Super thick acrylic, filed top of nails with a file , no cuticle oil, no cleaning under the nails, no hand washing prior to polish (although I stopped her and went and washed hands), got out gel drying machine thinking she needed to use that until another tech told her no, no nail drying machines but owner says other shops don't have them. Not!!!! And the list goes on...No one was getting their nails done while I was there which should have been my first clue to not get my nails done there. Very underwhelming experience.
