I would honestly not recommend ordering from this website. I purchased a casket display for my grandpa's funeral. The company took the money out of my account, and the flowers were delivered to the funeral home and displayed on his casket during the visitation. However, they forgot to include the banner that said "Beloved Grandpa." They told me they would bring the banner the next morning before the funeral. When I arrived for my grandpa's funeral the next morning, the flowers were gone. I later found out that someone from the company had come back and taken the casket spray because they claimed they had not been paid, even though the money had already been withdrawn from my account. This happened on one of the hardest days of my family's life. No family should have to experience something like this during a funeral. Ten years ago I got my mom some mother's day tulips from 1800 flowers. Crushed, wilted, sad, and embarrassing to give to my mother as a gift. Here we are, ten years later and 1800 flowers still sends embarrassingly sad looking arrangements, if you can even call it that. This may have been the worst experience I have ever had with a nationally recognized organization. I understand how busy a company can be during peak holiday, but this was and has been handled completely wrong. Ordering $150 worth of flowers and accepting the price, the extra shipping costs, for a special occasion. My flowers were supposed to be for my wife and delivered to her workplace. Received a message saying they would be delivered between 11-1pm. After 1pm, received a message saying between 11-3pm... after 3pm received a message that now says "by the end of the day". The business closed at 5pm and my wife's Valentine's Day gift was not delivered. That's not the end. Next was the customer service for both 1800Flowers and their delivery service FedEx. Not only could neither business locate where the flowers were, after 5pm, but the window now was "we deliver up until 8pm". I sat at the business from 530pm, in the parking lot, until 8pm, where no flowers were delivered. Again, still not done. I spoke with a representative from 1800Flowers, that at least offered some type of compensation. She said a 50% refund, delivery tomorrow, and a $10 credit somewhere else. To at least have flowers that I paid for, be delivered next day, I accepted the offer. Also requested for the existing flowers that were just not delivered, to be dropped off at a local location to potentially get something. It gets better. Not only were the flowers not delivered to our house today, Saturday, but the shipping now says 2/18, almost a week after Valentine's Day and the flowers that were on the delivery truck, have somehow magically disappeared or are still in the FedEx truck. I will never use 1800Flowers again, I will not tell others to not, that is their choice, but this experience has been absolutely miserable. When I was 13 years old, I came home from school on my birthday and a beautiful flower arrangement had been delivered for me. The card said, "I just wanted to be the first guy to ever send you flowers. Love, Dad" I still have the card tucked in an album with a couple of the dried flowers. Placed an order online and selected the Apple Pay option. When I selected Apple Pay, the computer automatically finalized my order without giving me any opportunity to verify/change delivery address. It automatically assumed delivery to my personal address when this order needed to be delivered to my mother's address for mother's day. The website immediately gave me not options to adjust or modify my order. I called customer support and they were unable to change the delivery address on my order as well, and this was 1 week in advance and 10 min after placing the order. This simple request and their inability to help me became very suspicious. They decided to ask me to provide another credit card number over the phone after I had been speaking to them for 40 minutes already and put on hold numerous times. After the conversation ended I check my bank account, and it shows they attempted to charge me a 2nd time while I was on the phone with them. Luckily my Bank of America automatically declined it. None of the service team seemed to be from the United States as well. All if this was very suspicious activity and I do not recommend this company to anyone. Very Unsatisfied: The delivery associate was not gentle with the items to be delivered and the quality of the roses delivered was below par - photos are provided of the products delivered. It is comparable with ordering a fake product on wish.com, with out the deep discounts. Beautiful flower arrangements!! But not worth the headache. Long story short. The check out process was confusing and customer service really messed up. Long story.. I used Apple Pay which may have been the problem. I believe because of the Apple Pay check out, I was not able to specify any of the details. It used my billing address as the delivery address and I believe they used the next nearest date of delivery as the delivery date. I wrote a note in the note section and it was not processed. Contacted customer service to fix the delivery address and date immediately after the payment processed because I saw everything was wrong when I viewed my receipt..despite the fact the website told me that I could make changes within 15 minutes of ordering without customer service. I then contacted the Apple business chat that will text you you for assistance. I successfully changed the date of delivery and tried changing the delivery address. Come to find out on the day of delivery, the flowers Came to the billing address instead of the address I requested over the chat. I then contacted the customer service again to ask if they could deliver the flowers to the right address. I got extremely close to fixing the mix up.. but I had mistyped one letter in the address I gave.. i though I was done but the assistant came back asking about it.. I did not respond until 6 minutes later but it was too late because they had already signed off. I then quickly got ahold of another assistant and they tried helping me but couldn't because I guess the other assistant had my file open still or something. I have now just got on the chat with another assistant and I believe everything is fixed now BUT I will say that it took me 2 minutes to respond to them at one point and they asked if I was still there and hinted that they were going to sign off the chat soon if I didn't respond. I understand they need to sign off if someone doesn't respond but I think it would Have provided me with a better customer service experience if they let me take a little more time to let me respond at some points in the conversation. No one in my family will be using them again. We had used them in the past and ordered extra-large arrangements. We never checked with the recipients to see if that is what they got and it appears that it isn't. Due to a 4 day late delivery this year, my brother sent me a picture of what I should have gotten (an extra large bouquet with 12 white roses and other lavender colored flowers). What I got was a small with 4 white roses and a few lavendered color stems. If he hadn't sent me the picture of what I should have gotten, we never would have realized that they were short changing (stealing) from us as I've always told my brother how pretty the arrangements are each year when I get them. We contacted them, they were supposed to send me replacement flowers and reimburse him. My replacement flowers were still not the extra-large that was ordered.
