It has the most gorgeous wood flooring and it has.. wait for it-- A FIREPLACE! *swoon* Y'all.. the sunset is breathtaking. You can look over to the west and see the mountains just being cloaked in the golden hour of sunset, not a single thing disrupting the ambiance, with a soundtrack of a trillion peepers all around. The property and house are beautiful, clean and well maintained. Every morning we were able to start our day off right with a great breakfast. You can get a gluten free option if you like. Matt and Lynn were so nice during our stay. Lynn had so many great recommendations of places to eat and things to do. Even when I asked where can I see a moose! We enjoyed all of our time at the inn. There's ample room to sit outside with a drink, a book and relax in nature. We are looking forward to our next visit and exploring more of what Maine has to offer!

My uncle who was in a wheelchair was told to his son in law to park downtown because there was no handicap parking was a disgrace! The woman screamed at our guest to sit down when there was no chairs available was blatantly rude . This is an excellent museum which highlights Bath's proud history of shipbuilding in Maine…read more Although the admission fee is high ($20 or $22), it helps to support the volunteers and activities of the museum. We only had 2 hours available, so we focused largely on the exhibits. The museum includes various buildings which highlight different aspect of shipbuilding from caulking, blacksmithing, and building skiffs (modern day boats used to travel on Maine's coastal waterways). We loved the exhibit on lobstering in Maine - with superb displays that showed why Maine's lobsters are prized worldwide (they have the best claw meat), and a colorful display of buoys and traps. Talking with volunteers about the art of woodcarving and building skiffs was very interesting. It was cool to see the flagpoles (representing the Wyoming schooner) and Bath Iron Works in the distance (a current shipyard for the U.S. Navy). Since we only had 2 hours available from 10am-12pm, we could not join the afternoon lighthouse cruises (which looked like fun). Overall, we enjoyed our visit to the Maine Maritime Museum! You'll learn a lot about Bath's proud history of shipbuilding and the tradition of lobstering in Maine.

The venue is a splurge but it was totally worth it for us. We did the whole weekend (Fri/Sat/Sun) and made the most of it with a welcome dinner Friday, Saturday wedding, and Sunday brunch. The venue is really beautiful with tons of greenery and flowers, it cuts down on the money and effort you need to put into decor. We got so many compliments on the venue from our guests. We primarily worked with the owner Deb and as it got close to the wedding, also with her new hire Abby. Deb knows weddings and she knows her venue inside and out so she is very chill to work with and makes sure to account for all the details. Communication was very fast and clear. Underrated but one thing I appreciate a ton is all our communications were in a single email chain so it was really easy to find. Abby coordinated with us day-of to cue us to walk down the aisle and otherwise they were seamlessly in the background. The vendor list we got was a little out of date with some being out of business or not having websites, but we picked a few vendors off the list so it was helpful. Having onsite lodging was great. The master bedroom was very comfrotable and it was nice to have our own bathroom. Most of the rest of our guests got Airbnbs (we blocked hotel rooms and offered a shuttle to Conway but no one took us up on it). Overall I would highly recommend Locke Farms Farm as a wedding venue!
