My husband and I enjoy staying at different places when we travel. So, when we were looking at a trip to Maine, we discovered the Noble House Inn. It's truly a gem! The property and house are beautiful, clean and well maintained. Every morning we were able to start our day off right with a great breakfast. You can get a gluten free option if you like. Matt and Lynn were so nice during our stay. Lynn had so many great recommendations of places to eat and things to do. Even when I asked where can I see a moose! We enjoyed all of our time at the inn. There's ample room to sit outside with a drink, a book and relax in nature. We are looking forward to our next visit and exploring more of what Maine has to offer! read more

I find this couple the most unkind and unfriendly people! A family member hosted a wedding there , from the filthy bathrooms to the no parking for handicapped guests was disgusting . My uncle who was in a wheelchair was told to his son in law to park downtown because there was no handicap parking was a disgrace! The woman screamed at our guest to sit down when there was no chairs available was blatantly rude . In spite of how horrible these people were ,my family and friends made the best of it and celebrated a wonderful couple who really were hoping for a beautiful day.which we did to insure that! read more

What a fantastic stay! We loved our night in Bridgton it was a well appointed room and bathroom, amenities were exactly what you wanted them to be. Clean, quiet, peaceful, our hosts were lovely people and so welcoming :) I wanted to stay a few more days! We will for sure be back through to have a longer stay at the Noble House Inn. Breakfast was delightful as well an unexpected quiche with fresh berries on the side and delicious bacon. I travel a lot for work and tend to stay at higher end hotels catering to business travelers. My typical choices are Four Seasons, JW Marriott, etc. While in town for our son's graduation from Bridgton Academy we stayed at Noble House Inn and I am truly impressed. The room is nice, spacious, and included a comfortable bed (bad beds, pillows and sheets being personal pet peeves of mine). I approached the 8 am breakfast with some trepidation, expecting a Holiday Inn like spread of lousy pastries. Instead, breakfast was the highlight of our stay in Bridgton (excluding our kid of course). The new owners are super friendly, accommodating, and it turns out wonderful cooks. My husband and I spent Presidents Day weekend at the Noble House. It's a lovely, antique building. Super clean and comfortable, a short walk to the attractions of Bridgton center and public access to Highland lake. What really stood out was the warmth, graciousness and thoughtfulness of the inn keepers Matt and Lynn. They're friendly and make sure guests have everything they need. The breakfast included was incredible- waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon one morning (my husband and I split one because the serving was so generous) and poached pears with a sort of gourmet omelet with a mixture of bacon and vegetables on top (hard to describe but amazing) along with breakfast potatoes. These folks take pride in what they do and it shows. Just wonderful. read more

It's halfway between a nice golf course and downtown Bridgton with a beautiful lake across the street. The hospitality is top notch, the rooms are classic Maine rustic; clean, roomy and very comfy; and breakfast every morning is out of this world. It took me over two years to build my home in Bridgton and every time I came up from Boston to check on progress I would stay here, year-round, and I can't think of any people that are nicer or any better way to rest and wake in the morning than the Noble House Inn. We were leaf-peeping in Maine and New Hampshire and decided to stay in Bridgton for a couple of days of our stay. The inn keepers were fabulous! They were so nice and informative.. letting us know of the great restaurants and sights in the area. The rooms were quaint... ours had a separate sitting room apart from the bedroom, which was very nice. The breakfasts were fantastic and it was just a really nice, relaxing stay. Love Noble House!!! The owners are a delight, super friendly, extremely helpful, and think of everything. Noble House has a balcony overlooking the front yard that you will love to sit on. We enjoyed it after sunset when you can quietly listen to the local wildlife and just relax. The rooms are well-appointed and the house itself is beautiful. Side note: There is an area in the house where two fireplaces meet each other from different rooms which are really cool and feel very old school New England. I have to mention that I also had probably the most perfectly cooked brussel sprout of my life while in Noble House. I know that might seem like a weird reason to stay here in itself, but I think it shows their loving focus on the small details and overall high quality. We will be staying here again for sure as we found a lot of things to do in and around Bridgton. Between hiking, shopping, it's close proximity to Portland, and all of the restaurants it was a great location to start from. read more

I enjoyed a few days at this lovely inn because I was visiting family close by. The breakfasts were great, even taking my allergies and preferences into consideration - very generous portions too. The hostess was gracious and knowledgeable about the area. I wasn't around to enjoy the inviting living area or take advantage of some of the special services but would recommend both. Traveling alone, I felt they took care that I felt secure. Each evening, I received a few homemade cookies which I hoarded for my trip home. They were delicious! It's located in the center of Bridgtown so you can walk to the little shops and the lake. I'm sure I'll return in the future. read more

Bridgton is such a beautiful place and our journey got better as we arrived to Nobel House Inn. A very warm welcome and house tour, followed by an insider tip for dinning out from Ken. Rooms are very nice and clean. We had a room with lake view and a small yard to enjoy the view. You can also use the living room and the room with fireplace while enjoying the music you choose. They also have a small storage room full of card games. Cindi prepares the best and the most exotic breakfast. I uploaded the photos of breakfast with pink grapefruit Creme brûlée and cherry granola pancakes. They are super tasty Cindi make you feel like you are visiting friends. Just got back from a 2 night stay in the treehouse suite. To say that this inn is amazing is an understatement. From our arrival and throughout our stay, our experience was nothing but perfect! The suite was nice and cozy making it perfect for our stay. The bed was so comfortable and we enjoyed the in suite fireplace and towel warmer! The owners Lynn and Matt truly thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable and relaxing! I can't say enough about Lynn and Matt and their dedication to their guests! Breakfast was amazing and with my dietary restrictions, Lynn went above and beyond to provide me with a delicious breakfast that I could enjoy! My wife and I stayed here for our ski vacation at Shawnee Peak and were very impressed. Check in was easy and the room very comfortable. We stayed in the Noble suite which had a big tub perfect for soaking after a long day skiing. The inn does a excellent job of balancing comfort with safety during the current Covid restrictions. Breakfast was amazing both days. The quiche Lorraine and granola berry pancakes were to die for. The owner Cindy is extremely knowledgeable of the surrounding area. She gave us great advice on places to snow shoe and cross country ski nearby. Besides being close to Shawnee, the Noble House is near some really amazing restaurants and shops to make the most of your trip. We highly recommend and will be back! read more

Went up to Bridgton last weekend for a TMJ Disorders class as stayed at the Noble House Inn. I wasn't able to arrive by their check in time and pulled up to the house at about 9:30pm. They left me an informative and sweet little letter letting me know where everything is and encouraged me to make myself at home. The breakfast the first morning was Maple pecan French toast with sausage patties, and a fruit and yogurt parfait with home made granola. I cannot consume too much sugar or carbs, so I was not able to enjoy everything personally, but it looked and smelled delicious! It was VERY tempting. By the time I got back from class, there was a fire going and I was offered tea and cookies. I took a nice hot bath and enjoyed the strong jets. My room was not outfitted with a television, but I didn't mind. I curled up with a book the first night, and watched a movie on my laptop the second night. Breakfast the second morning was a Carmelized onion quiche. I was told she rotates sweet and savory each day. Great idea! The rooms are very comfortable and the sheets are SO SOFT! I felt more than welcome and very taken care of without feeling pestered or bothered. They left me be in my room when I just wanted to hide out and be quiet, but once I came out to the world of the living, I felt catered to. I would highly recommend this place. I travel often and have stayed at B&B's, 5 star hotels, and everything in between. I was impressed with the service here and am looking forward to a return visit! read more

The hospitality is magnificent, the person that I came up there with had car trouble he went to get it fixed, because we were leaving the next day. So I was left at the Inn with no way of getting food, Cindi suggest it if I order the food she would pick it up for me. I thought that was so nice. Lovely B&B with exceptional management! My family of four stayed here for a night, in two cozy, clean, well appointed rooms. This wasn't a well planned trip on our part, but more of a happy accident (timing of a move, don't ask). I stayed here as part of a wedding - the groom's mother bought out the entire inn for the bridal party. I can say without reservation, if you are thinking of having a wedding here, don't. I don't know if the innkeeper just decided that she hated us before we arrived or what, but staying here was kind of like staying with your aunt (assuming your aunt is a retired schoolmarm who decided in 1978 that your father was a loser and still sort of holds it against you that you were ever born). The rooms were cutesy but nice, and the bottomless cookie jar was pretty good, but that was about it. She had a lot of rules and spoke to us in a very brusk and condescending way. She seemed like someone born without the customer service gene. As we were a small group of friends and family here to celebrate, we tried to make light of the situation - and that really only made things worse. It all came to a head on the last night when, some time between when we all went to bed and woke up in the morning, someone mysteriously took a small hatchet or very large knife to one of the sofas. Since Norman Bates'ing the furniture seems like not the best way to way to repay the groom's mother for her generosity in putting us all up, I can only surmise this mauling was done by a deft wild bear with crack lock-picking skills, a very hostile ghost, or perhaps someone who stood to collect a large sum of revenge money (500 freakin' dollars) for the damage! read more

I was here in October 2013 - the way Cindi and Julie run this place pretty much conformed to what I thought a New England B&B would be like. Cool old house near a lake with trees acquiescing to the stereotypical definition of "fall foliage". We weren't your typical B&B crowd, so even though we didn't really join in with the communal jigsaw puzzle etc., it was still a great place to stay. Easy walking distance of the small town for lunch or dinner (yes, the distance doesn't change based on the time of day, though a flashlight is handy once it has gone dark). I had a (the only) room with a balcony, so one night we did get take out and eat it on the balcony (no take out in the rooms - too smelly per Cindi and Julie and I support their stance on this - and we did get permission for the balcony feast). Breakfast was different every day - and while I'd have preferred a larger selection, everything that was on offer was very tasty - and our hosts were eager to accommodate any requests they could. Although this is the only example I've sampled, I don't think you'll find much better examples of the NE B&B than this place, and the location couldn't be beat either. read more

This is one of my new favorite places in Maine! I had to stay in Bridgton for work and usually enjoy a chain hotel. I saw this B&B, did some research and was completely in awe of this beautiful inn when I arrived. Julie and Rick did the most incredible job making me feel comfortable when I checked in. Their their warm personalities and their endless jar of cookies (which were amazing) and comfortable (and clean) rooms made me not want to leave the next morning. Julie and Rick went above and beyond and found out when I had to leave in the morning so breakfast would be ready for me when I woke up. FYI- Breakfast is INCREDIBLE. I had french toast with homemade (warm) maple syrup, sausages and fresh fruit. HEAVEN. You will not want to leave Noble. It is a truly a home-away-from home. read more

We were very excited to stay at the Noble House on our wedding night. The premises are absolutely beautiful and the rooms clean and cozy looking. As we were arriving after the short check-in window, we arranged to meet with the owner the day before after our ceremony rehearsal. When we arrived about 30-min. late because our rehearsal had run over, Julie, the owner was very brisk with us and rebuked us for not being right on time to get checked into our room. This is definitely a place where you have to work on their schedule. Since we hadn't had a chance to eat at our wedding reception, we brought two plates of food with us to eat at a later time during the weekend. There is no food allowed in the rooms (which is probably a good thing to keep the rooms clean), but there is a common refrigerator where anyone can keep food and beverages to enjoy in the common area. Of course, there is not a microwave to warm up any food or beverages you do bring. When we did want to eat our food, we asked the owners if there was a microwave we could use, and they told us that there was not one available to guests. They did warm our food up in the microwave they had in the kitchen, but not without making us feel like we put them out in some way. We only asked this when we saw them hanging out in the common area, so we weren't exactly putting anyone out. The room was very nice and the bed was quite comfortable, but we were there in early September, and anyone who has been to Maine knows that it gets very chilly at night in September. The bed only had a thin blanket on it, and we were unable to sleep because we were so cold. We got up in the middle of the night and tore apart the room looking for an extra blanket, but there was none to be found. They did give us an extra blanket when we asked, for our second night, but we felt that was a pretty basic thing to provide in Maine any time of year. I believe this is one of the most expensive inns in the entire state of Maine, and the hotel we stayed at near the airport the following night was a quarter the price and much more welcoming and comfortable than our two nights at The Noble House. I wish I could say we had a wonderful honeymoon at The Noble House, but unfortunately we had an experience we wouldn't want to repeat or recommend to anyone else. read more

A quaint old inn in a great White Mountains area location with an excellent breakfast We had decided to try and use only non-chain hotels on this New England vacation. From the delicious homemade cookies to great accommodations, this little inn turned out to be a great choice. We got the smallest ( cheapest) room with a well-equipped bathroom that was roomy and comfortable enough for the two of us. We slept very well in the queen size bed that night. I got up early the next day and had a pleasant walk around the quaint old inn and neighborhood then came back to an unexpected pleasant surprise. We were served a vegetable frittata, with sauteed cabbage and sausage. We had never had cabbage for breakfast but it was so good that we had to get the recipe from Cindi. Speaking of Cindi Hopper (the owner), for being a former lawyer by trade, she has adapted to her new profession quite well. She consistently went out of her way to make sure all our needs were met and was very knowledgeable in the history of the house and the surrounding area. The added plus was the location was convenient to the local tourist hot spots, especially the White Mountain. read more

We recently stayed here overnight to go snowshoeing. The B&B is very cozy and clean, with a living room you can relax in and leather couches in front of the fire. Our room was well appointed with a porch and full bath, though it was a little cold to be on the porch. We had a fun time eating from the cookie jar and drinking tea. Breakfast was great! We had a fantastic french toast with fruit and sausage, and the owners make all of it themselves. The breakfast room has a wall of windows where you can look out over the lake behind the neighboring houses. The owners were great to talk to and gave us advice on where to snowshoe the next day. They also have a house dog who loves to play in the living room. The location is just outside of town, and it took us a few wrong turns to find the street in the dark - make sure to look for the boat put-in down the street. Parking was up the driveway. Overall, we had a very enjoyable time and plan on returning again. read more

You need not look any further in Bridgton - I promise you, you will not find a better place to stay. Julie and Rick have turned this B&B into a wonderful home-away-from-home. I honestly can say it is the nicest bed I have EVER slept in. The sheets must have been 1230338 thread count. The bathroom was nicely stocked, lots of hot water, and a scrumptious breakfast was made by Rick. They have a lovely, passive dog who quietly sits around the house - not rambunctious at all, and I'm sure if you asked her to be put upstairs, Rick and Julie would oblige. But she's SO sweet, how could you? I will go back every time I'm in Bridgton and I know a number of my colleagues have been/will go when they're back in the area as well. read more

I stayed here during the low season in Winter. Room was comfortable and clean, like the rest of the inn. Best of all, it's family-run. I fell ill after a very fun day of snow-tubing and helped to exhaust the nightly supply of hot water. Good range of Harney & Sons tea, free all day. There's also a bottomless cookie jar, if that interests you, and instant hot chocolate. Breakfast was very good. Too sweet for my tastes, but varied, homemade, and very good. Juice, hot beverage, fruit, baked goods, and main. Different every morning. If I were to visit the area again I'd want to stay here again. I'd want to see what it's like when it's warm outside. The hosts were wonderful. They also looked so...wholesome. Clean and fresh and glowing, and maybe it's Maine. Beautiful dog but I don't remember her name. She's playful if you want her to be. Staying at the Noble House is like staying with a friendly relative, albeit one who has great taste and major cooking skills! Our room (the Garden room) was large and nicely appointed with great attention to detail. There were doors that opened on to a patio and in the summer, it would offer a great view of the garden. The bathroom features an amazing two person Jacuzzi that is perfect for relaxing. There is a thermostat in the room so you can control the heat and the bed is SO comfy we could barely drag ourselves out of it to go ski! The inn has a cozy common area with a fireplace, bottomless cookie jar, free tea and coffee, and a lazy doggie named Daisy you can pet and play with. Breakfast in the morning was DELICIOUS and all homemade. It included homemade granola with yogurt and fresh fruit, freshly baked muffins, apple stuffed crepes, sausage, an egg dish, home fries, and more. Noble House makes you feel welcome and offers a special experience. One couple eloped the night we stayed there! If you're seeking a restful stay in a beautiful B&B, look no further. read more

Lovely inn, delicious home cooked breakfast, welcoming and relaxing ambience all in a fantastic location. An easy walk to great restaurants, lakefront beach access, cinema, lovely park with short trails and gorgeous views of the sunset. To be able to walk to restaurants was ideal; we got to soak in the natural beauty and not have to worry about enjoying an extra glass of wine at dinner. The inn is a refreshing mix of rustic, cozy and fresh. You don't feel like you're sleeping in your Great Aunt Harriet's spare bedroom! The neighborhood was quiet, the mattress was comfortable and there was absolutely no light pollution so we slept really well. This would be a great place to get away with some girlfriends anytime of year - the innkeeper is just wonderful. The inn even offers Elopement packages! We look forward to our next visit! read more

Five stars is not enough for Noble House Inn! My husband and I recently returned home after a week at this lovely in near a lake. Began the days drinking coffee on the porch where Cindi would serve her amazing breakfasts as a cool breeze blew past. (And Cindi was always kind enough to share the recipes for her incredible creations! Her blueberry french toast with cream cheese was one of my favorites!) As the days warmed we would walk to the lake or embark on adventures in Bridgton and surrounding small towns. Cindi always provided us with great information on places to explore. (Portland is less than an hour away but we never made it there since we were having so much fun around Bridgton.) Returned in the evening to drink wine and read on the porch, and when we went to bed there were always fresh baked cookies in our room. Such a lovely and peaceful vacation. All we could ask for! We had our wedding here in the summer of 2013. It was perfect and amazing. We wanted a small wedding in Bridgton since my family vacations there every summer. Cindi called me and asked my preferences and then took care of everything! She ordered the flowers, the amazing cake, the post-wedding snacks, and the photographer. It was exactly what we wanted in our simple, small wedding. My family thought the food was amazing and the staff treated them kindly (even when they helped themselves to a diet coke from a non-guest fridge). I would not change a thing about our wedding day. It was exactly what me and my husband wanted. We had a small, family wedding that felt like a combination of a traditional wedding and an elopement. I loved that all the arrangements were taken care of by the staff and we just showed up in our outfits and got married. All the people (many children) felt welcome and pampered that day. read more

Phenomenal inn! I have been to many B&B's and by far this is the best! The inn keepers were so welcoming and the inn was meticulously taken care of. This past weekend my husband and I stayed at this inn. I did not want to leave! Everything was perfect, from the cleanliness of our room and bath right straight up with making new friends with the inn keepers. Take a little of old world up to new updates and you have the perfect combination in this Inn, as well as the delicious breakfasts that they served. The Innkeepers, Cindy and Kennedy could not do enough for us too. They were never too busy for us and for all their guests to make conversation. We felt right at home.
