I believe they were fraise de bois on top; the dough itself, unproofed, and heavy. I would like to have seen some custard on the inside with the chantilly cream on top, but it just fell short but had potential. It was an odd set up with the pastry station right being the front counter and I noticed that most of the girls working were slow due to watching the customers come in. Very distracting. This was my first time here and I will give it another shot but after they are open a bit longer. I wish them well. This again, this is one persons constructive criticism.
