Stopped by on a rainy Friday morning around 9:30 and this place was packed. There was no seating available and people appeared to have made up their own spots to sit. I had driven out this way, so I checked out the food and drinks. I ended up getting a jalapeno cheddar scone and the monthly special orange vanilla latte to go. Since there were several cars driving around looking for a parking spot, I decided to take my items home instead of enjoying them in the car. The latte was good but the jalapeno cheddar scone was fantastic. The scone was scipy and while crumbly it was not dry. Now I know I should plan on a to-go order next time. read more

This might just be one of my favorite cafes now! The interior was beautiful and felt cozy. They had limited tables outside. The service workers were so incredibly friendly. More so than what you have come to expect these days. The food here is phenomenal! I had a breakfast galette that was so delicious. I also took home a slice of basque cheesecake that I'm itching to try. I got one of their seasonal drinks, an iced Neapolitan Mocha. I don't think I've drank a coffee faster! Fantastic place to grab an espresso coffee option. The place was busy and clearly a fav of many. It's not far off the freeway, so it's an easy detour. I got my usual hot latte. Worth another visit! Stopped by the Ocelot Cafe after many years and am so happy I did. The ambience is spacious, yet cozy. Tables for larger groups as well as smaller seating areas for singles/couples. We were greeted and helped quickly by pleasant staff. Many good options to choose from; we got the eggs Florentine pocket. It was unbelievably good! The everything bagel seasoning on top of the puffed pastry was a nice touch. Would definitely order again. Also got the cinnamon roll and apple pie puffed pastry- had to try them. These were delicious too! Had to check this out after seeing the great reviews. Really enjoyed my London Fog and broccoli-cheddar quiche. Misunderstood other review. Thought you could get made to order sandwiches; that is not the case. Most everything is made fresh in the morning and then that's what's available. So this is not a place for eggs & bacon, but instead grab a slice of breakfast focaccia. Took home Nutella muffin for kiddo and received great feedback. Can't wait to see how the cherry scone & turkey breakfast sandwich do. And yes, the fire is super cozy, especially on this rainy day. Comfy couch, too! read more

We stopped into Ocelot Cafe on a busy morning and were instantly charmed by the warm, welcoming atmosphere and kind staff. It has that perfect small-town feel with a touch of artisan flair. We ordered hot tea, the focaccia bread, and a scone--and every bite (and sip) was spot on. The tea was self steeped, served hot and aromatic, just the way we like it. The focaccia bread was fresh, fluffy, and flavorful with just the right amount of herbs and toppings. I wish it did not have an over hard egg. It was simple but so satisfying. And the scone? Easily the star of the visit--delicate, not overly sweet, and paired beautifully with the tea. read more

This was the second time we have had lunch here on our way back home from Dayton. It did not disappoint. We both had one of their prepared sandwiches plus their fresh soup. Again the soup was outstanding as were the sandwiches. The people are very nice and friendly and the place is clean and comfortable. We were thrilled to remember this place for a second go. The food and coffee were spot on. Sesame sausage roll was very tasty with the inclusion of mustard. Not overpowering but a subtle hint that elevates the taste. Coffee was smooth and HOT! Went there 2 Fridays in a row just to make sure the first time wasn't a fluke. Wow, what an amazing find. I stopped in here, because I thought they carried loaves of bread which they didn't but I also saw some great photos of Coffee online. The atmosphere in this place is amazing. A see-through fireplace. Lots of windows free Wi-Fi currently Christmas decorations, lovely, mellow, light music. I purchased a coffee with unsweetened almond milk and it was amazing. I was lucky enough to meet the owner James who was super outgoing and friendly. So pleasant and explained all his products and how they make them, etc. they make all their pastries and baked goods fresh every day in the early morning. Then around 10 AM they start their lunch Menu of fresh made sandwiches. They also have some amazing quiche options that are gluten-free and regular. They also have quiche options that are vegetarian or bacon. The owners here are James and Elizabeth. They do an amazing job at their baked goods and coffee. They carry local coffee beans from AKRON, coffee roasters, and Bent tree. They have plenty of parking. This is a great place to have a meeting or do schoolwork or work outside at the home. I can't stress enough, how great the atmosphere is, the food, and employees. If the weather is decent, they also offer outside seating that has a cover to it on warm, rainy days. I purchased some of their fabulous pumpkin bread. They don't make regular loaves of bread just fancy cake, type breads, cookies, muffins, scones,..... As far as a drink, I purchased the macchiato. Not the high sweetened large type drink many people know as a macchiato. It's a little 2 ounce glass with two shots of espresso and two shots of whatever your dairy preferences I like the unsweetened milk. It was delicious. When I first drove by ocelot for the first time I thought that it was some sort of cat cafe similar to the cat cafe that was in Tremont. When I got inside and asked about the unusual name I came to find out that Ocelot has nothing to do with cats walking around the cafe but rather an obscure song that the owner likes. My second visit, I had the pleasure of actually meeting the owner. He appears to be a nice guy who is trying to build a customer base. He and his wife are working 60 hour weeks trying to make a go of it. They are definitely trying and it shows. If you happen to be in the area swing by and check out the warm fireplace, good coffee and yummy muffins. read more

We're driving from Chicago to NY and found this place on yelp based on reviews and the reviews were right, their baked goods are yummy and has great vegetarian options! Ordered a: 1. Meat focaccia 2. Total gem! I've been here twice now...once for breakfast pastries and once for lunch. Both offerings were excellent and did not disappoint. One of the owners, Jason, walked me through everything the first time I was there and was incredibly helpful and friendly. They have a good variety of pastries and rotating lunch options (some of which are always vegetarian, which I so appreciate)! Today I had the mushroom galette (mushrooms, caramelized onions, goat cheese, and hot honey) and it was fantastic. The friendly girl behind the counter heated it up for me and it was SO. GOOD. My friend had the Caspian sandwich and said it was phenomenal also. We hung out inside for a couple of hours and didn't feel pressured to leave even though it was close to closing time. For dessert, the Gochujang cookie is a favorite of mine...huge and flavorful with just the right amount of spice. This local business is absolutely worth checking out and they have so much to try. I was in the area visiting CVNP and it was freezing so I decided to get a coffee and warm up. Not only was the coffee warm but the ambiance was also as well. Everyone working there was so kind and the decor was cute too. I feel like they really care about their customers, I have been following them in instagram for a while so it was cool to go in person.
