Decided to look at a subaru impreza they had for sale advertised with 120k miles, but in reality had 150k miles. The first time I showed up they were "working" on the car. It had a misfire, so we went home. They called me back the following Friday saying it was good to go and to come drive it. We drove the car and it ran as expected. We purchased the car for 4000 and drove home. Not two hours after getting the car home it started misfiring. We tried to work with the dealer but they will not take the car back or repair the vehicle back into a working and driving condition. The car misfire's so bad it cannot be driven and it over fuels and cuts out when you press the accelerator. It's been 3 weeks and all they have offered is to tow the car to their mechanic and have us pay for the repair because they don't want to go through the "hassle of replacing parts again" which means they never had any idea if they fixed the car, just threw a few parts at it and sold it before they verified any "repair. All we wanted was a running vehicle or our money back. We have documentation telling them the car was not fixed and not drivable. They towed the car to their mechanic to diagnose the car then have me pay to fix it to running and driving condition, except their mechanic couldn't fix it. So after another several weeks of trying of trying to get the car running right, there had been no solution. I diagnosed the misfire and told their mechanic how to fix it but there is still a problem in the wiring harness and/ or the ecu for the car that causes the car to stall when under throttle, dangerously affecting its ability to pull into traffic safely and they still refuse to take responsibility for it. There was also a massive axle shaft seal leak, when my personal mechanic had to fix it he discovered a broken wheel stud on the driver's side wheel, it was completely broken but they screwed a lug nut on there just enough to make it look like it wasn't broken. They're proudly selling a vehicle they knew was in bad enough shape that they could not fix it, slapping it together enough to sell it before it failed. This is a warning to anyone who is looking for a vehicle to purchase at this dealer do not but from them and expect to sell you a good working product. These vehicles are purchased at auction then they throw a few parts on and detail it and sell it quick. Be careful and stay away. read more

I purchased a Ford F250 from TexasCarsDirect back in September. I flew in from Chicago to pick up…read morethe truck. Upon arriving and meeting with David Urby, I took the truck for a test drive. There was some minor issues but the most glaring was the check engine light. David said the issues would be taken care of, go to lunch and come back in a couple of hours. He called me and said they needed a part that would not be there until Monday. David paid for my flight home and said the truck would be shipped to me. I received the truck late the next week. When driving from where I received the truck, the check engine light came on. I notified him of this issue and he said to have it fixed locally and he would reimburse me. It has been several months and many texts and calls and still no reimbursement. Up until this point, David lived up to his word but I am extremely disappointed to have to write a partial negative review due to not receiving this promised reimbursement. In addition, the check engine issue took two times to resolve, the second requiring an additional cost which I decided to absorb thinking I would get the promised reimbursement. In closing, David did live up to his word on everything until this reimbursement issue so I can't give a 5 star review due to this

Tire Damage and Service Dispute After the first service was…read morecompleted and I returned to collect my truck, I was informed that one of the tires had two noticeable gashes. I was told that replacing the damaged tire would cost me more than $300, which essentially negated the savings from the complimentary service. I questioned the service manager about how he could be certain that the tire damage did not occur while the truck was still being used as a demonstrator, or perhaps during transportation, offloading, or while being moved on or off the service rack by a technician. There are numerous possibilities for when the damage could have happened prior to my purchase. However, the service manager could not provide any evidence to support his claim and that I was responsible for the damage. Despite this, he assured me that the gash was my responsibility and that I would have to pay for the replacement tire. When I again asked if it was possible the damage happened before I took delivery of the truck, he admitted he could not prove otherwise but insisted that I was still responsible for the replacement. Lack of Support and Final Decision Since I purchased the truck, it has seen minimal use and has never left paved roads. Given this, I am unable to determine how the tire could have been damaged during my ownership. Nevertheless, Hall's Chevrolet refused to warrant the tire or absorb any part of the replacement cost. As a result of this experience, I have decided that this will be both my first and LAST purchase or service visit at Hall's Chevrolet in Canton, Texas. Money over customer satisfaction here The lack of accountability and unwillingness to address customer concerns was disappointing, especially considering the reputation I expected from a dealership like Hall's Chevrolet. I believe that customer service should extend beyond simply performing routine maintenance and should include standing behind both the vehicles and the work provided. This situation has left me feeling undervalued as a customer, and I sincerely hope that others will be cautious when considering their own purchase or service decisions at this location.

Thefts, untrustworthy and dishonest !!! Took my truck there a few weeks ago for high fuel…read morepressure mind you the truck would start and ran before I took there just ran rough. Turns out the dealership said there was some kind of foreign substance in my fuel. They quoted 11,000 dollars tried going through insurance we had the fuel tested through my insurance adjuster fuel came back clean so insurance would not cover it. I Asked for my truck back so I can get a second opinion the dealership charged me 400 bucks to put the parts back on they took off to see what the problem was which was fine. Towed the truck home when we received the truck from the dealership both batteries which were a year old were dead. After charging the batteries I went to try and start the truck to move it into the garage the truck would not start now looked under the hood at the injection pump where they said they took stuff off and found my injector pump FCA sensor was barely hanging there on not even plugged in also found my main fuel line was not connected to the injection pump. Tried calling the service writer back after dodged me for several days finally got a hold of him. He told me the mechanic did not have enough time to install the parts back on the truck I was mine blown the service writer tried to blame the mistakes on me . Why would you release a vehicle When it's not put back together 100% but still charge the customer sounds like stealing to me. I would not trust these people and definitely the service writer of this shop I'm still trying to deal with the issue but can't get anyone to communicate with me over there!

So, without further ado..... This was the absolute best experience that I (or anyone I've known) have ever had buying a car. My situation is pretty dire. My husband is very sick, we've hit financial unbelievable hardships and I was out of a vehicle. My folks (God bless them!) had been, unbeknownst to me, looking for a replacement they could get for me. And, by a miracle, chanced upon Pittman's. I can't begin to tell you how fortunate I am for that. First, the Pittmans are incredibly friendly, kind, warm and compassionate people. They were extremely sympathetic to our circumstances and listened patiently to all our concerns. They worked within my family's price range to get us into a car that was both dependable and affordable in the long haul (IE: gas mileage and upkeep). They were knowledgable about their products and were willing to go the extra mile to help us. Further, their employee, Billy, was a treasure. He made sure that the car we chose was in top notch condition above the excellent service provided. In general, I simply can't say enough good things about the entire staff. They're all saints in my book. Second, they really stand by what they sell. Apparently, we were the first customers to benefit from their new warranty program. Each used car now comes with a four month warranty, which includes up to $1,500 in certain repairs, roadside assistance and other perks completely unheard of in the used car business. Then, they threw in some of the most incredible extras: in-depth detailing, an oil change, a topped off tank of gas and, most unbelievable of all, a brand new set of tires. How amazing! I understand they undoubtedly wouldn't do that for every customer, but I am here to tell you how shocked we were that they would do something so wonderfully astounding for us. Considering it would've taken me forever to save enough money to do that myself, this was a godsend. I mean, wow. Finally, they also on the day of pick up, had a really beat surprise for me. I wasn't raised in the country, so I was enamored by some of the restorations found on their showroom floor. One of which was a lovely old tractor. Well, when we got there, they'd brought it out for me to drive around the parking lot for a while. How cool is that? For this former city girl, I was in heaven. Not many companies would ever go through so much trouble to make your shopping experience such an unmitigated success. And my family was so impressed by Pittman's every step of the way, that they not only bought this car as a gift for me, but found them an awesome SUV as well. Plus, my mom who is a very shrewd consumer, trusted John and Marla so much, that she sold them her beloved older pickup. It was just a win-win-win situation. In closing, I highly recommend Pittman Motors. If I'm ever in the market to buy another vehicle (which I can't imagine -- this one is so perfect, I bet it'll last forever), I have every confidence that they'll have exactly what I need and will be able to afford. I'll never shop anywhere else again and I'm equally certain that my folks feel the same way. I will gladly tell everyone I know to give them a try and see how extraordinary they are. I HIGHLY recommend them. 100 out of 5 stars. :) Thank you, Pittman Motor family. You all are angels.
