After that, two of the biggest electrical contractors in town came out, told me everything was wrong, and insisted the job needed a full overhaul with all new hardware. I knew something was off -- the original work looked solid and came from a trusted source. I called Dan, the owner, and he immediately answered and came out himself later that week. He diagnosed the system and confirmed what I suspected: the existing hardware was perfectly fine. It just needed proper wiring and completion -- which he and his right-hand man Shawn handled quickly, cleanly, and professionally. My HOA had Tap out to replace several light fixtures and change the manual timers to automatic. The…read morelight fixtures were 2x4" white fixtures (warm light) that were replaced by 6x8" black fixtures (cool light). Tap did replace the fixtures with the proper ones 3-4 later. We had 2 interior wall outlets that worked independently from the exterior light until Tap changed the timers. After 5 weeks they still have not corrected the issue.

The electrician who is also the owner showed up and repaired my son's ceiling fan and also found a wire that was not connected in another outlet. He was very nice and explained everything to us, gave us electric upgrade advice. I recommend Blue State Electric to all of my friends and family looking for electrical repairs and or upgrades.
