I will say I reached out to Joe right away and within 24 hours he had me scheduled and came to our house. We had a little mishap with our shutters, someone bumped into them briskly (thank you, teenagers), knocking four slats out of place. Joe came over today and fixed it right up! We had a great experience here when we found ourselves in need of pendant lights. You know how it can be at the design center when you're buying a new home: can you really afford to upgrade one more thing for hundreds of dollars more?! So here we are, four years later and I'm dragging my husband in here to pick something out. Our salesman made it so easy (and much more affordable) to look through catalogs and see many examples on display. We found something we liked, and they sent someone out two weeks later to install our new lights - free of charge. When one of the lights had a defect, the handled the problem with ease and came back a short time later with a replacement. I would fully recommend this business to anyone. read more

Who knew buying ceiling fans could be such a great experience? After searching online and looking at big box stores, I checked out East Valley Fans and Blinds before making the final decision. The store was very nice and I didn't feel pressured with sales at all. Patrick was friendly and really helpful. He printed out some spec sheets on the ones I was deciding between, marked the price on each, and helped me understand the information on the pages. Air movement was really important to me and it was clear on the spec sheets which one was the winner! I went with Minka Aire, a manufacturer that was already top of my list, and the prices at East Valley Fans and Blinds were the same or lower than I'd seen elsewhere, and included installation! Installation was scheduled about a week and a half after my order - pretty amazing these days. I had a few questions in the meantime and when I called the office, it was always a great experience. Samuel came and installed the fans as scheduled and was great. He worked through a few challenges on my electrical wiring (done DIY by previous homeowner), gave me the warranty information, and cleaned up the packaging. Pretty cool place that has a lot of options. I placed an order for a replacement glass shade for my ceiling fan and they were helpful over the phone, and quick to order my replacement. When arriving home to compare the shade with other ceiling fans I have up, it's slightly different but it will be in another room, so no biggie. I just hope it fits when installed from my fan guy. read more

I knew from online research that MinkaAire 44" Light Wave was the fan I wanted to buy locally if practical. I expected to pay about $100 to have my fan installed. My very pleasant surprise was that although that fan was $20 higher at East Valley , installation was FREE! The friendly installer worked quickly and made no mess. The fan works perfectly and provides plenty of air at even the lowest speed. read more

Love love love our shutters! We went back and forth on whether we wanted wood blinds or shutters, or mixture of both. We bit the bullet and splurged on the shutters all throughout and I'm so glad we did. We ordered them just before Christmas break and they got installed mid February I believe? Well, an update on my 1-star review, they came and installed the correct blinds, and I called the office after the installer left and they gave us a $42 discounted price, which I thought was fair,( I was hopeful for at least $50) but was fine with the offer of $42.So I changed my review from 1-star to 3-1/2. All I can say is make sure you see the order before it is sent in, for some reason people have a tendency to not listen. read more

We started our relationship with EVFB with a stop into their showroom, looking at fans. That stop changed our minds about purchasing fans at HD or Lowes and installing them ourselves. Our initial conversation was with Patrick and Joe, the owners of the company, the discussion was very clear cut and very helpful. They have a selection of fans that is amazing and can access just about anything you can imagine. Joe and Patrick were very helpful with what types of fans to choose from AC or DC and the size of the room vs. the fan size and type. Needless to say, we were sold and we purchased 5 fans with lights from them, the best part, the price was super competitive and the price came with installation! This was a no brainer. We set and installation date and time. The date for installation was getting close and sure enough we got a call from them confirming the installation time and date. They showed up on time and with everything they needed. The installer was clean cut, courteous and knew what he was doing. The installation was clean, no hand marks on the ceilings and cleaned up after himself. Two of the fans about 3 days after installation developed a very slight wobble, we gave a call to the office and Joe answered the phone, told him what was going on and he said he would be out at the end of the day and would take care of it. Joe showed up and sure enough, about 30 minutes later everything was perfect. Not a bid deal. I will have to say that we were super impressed with everything about how they operate, they did what they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it, on time and complete. The installers they use are absolutely top notch and know what they are doing, John was our installer and he is amazing. We were so satisfied with our initial experience with EVFB that we started a dialog with them regarding our shutters and sliding glass door coverings. They set an appointment showed up and gave us a quote a few days later. Zero issues. We chose shutters for the whole house and roller screens for the sliding glass doors! The set a date when the roller screens would show up and within 2 days they were at our house installing them, the roller screens showed up first, then the shutters. John again showed up to do the installation and again the installation was perfect and the operation and looks of the screens, were way more than what we expected. The shutters show up about 2 weeks after the roller screens just like they said they would and John again showed up to install. This guy is amazing, again the installation was perfect, zero issues! The shutters look amazing and again we are more than elated at the quality, look and installation craftsmanship! We have referred more than a few people to this company. The owners of this company have earned every bit of our trust, and the integrity and honesty of this company is absolute! Joe went above and beyond to help us resolve an issue that we were having with two of our fans. He got the replacement parts and came and installed them. Fixing our fans for a portion of the price that it would have cost to replace them. Just in time for the heat of the summer to hit. We bought 6 fans and a blackout rolling shade for our sliding door. We spent around $2,700 with free installation. We also asked them to install some light fixtures we had from a previous house and for a little extra money, they were more than willing to accommodate us. It was way cheaper than hiring a handyman or electrician. We got great customer service during the entire process from the owners and their crews. Everything went smoothly.
