It…read morefeels like The Property Manager at Eagle Drive Storage may be stealing people's personal information in an attempt to steal their customer's identity. Sherri Garvin, The Property Manager, was secretively on her personal phone with a random person while discussing my private information, and at first tried to ignore it, and then try to act like she wasn't doing anything wrong. I only noticed she was on her phone, because the person on the other line sniffled. I politely asked for her to tell the other person that she would have to call him back, and to please hang up the phone while discussing my private information. Keep in mind, we had already discussed my full name, address, and she was asking about my credit card information when I finally noticed she was on the phone with another person. She did nothing after I asked her again to get off her phone. She acted like nothing had happened. It wasn't until I demanded for a 4th time that she finally told the other person on her story phone that she had on speaker that she would place him on hold. I have no way of knowing if she placed him on hold or not. She just tapped her screen real fast and moved her phone away, but not out of sight or ear shot. So, I refused to give her anymore information until she hung up. She did after trying to have me provide her with an updated credit card, and I wanted to talk to her boss. She tried to tell me she was the boss, but then gave me the name of the Other Property Manager. Bottom line, don't ever do business with this place. This lady will have your identity stolen. She saw nothing wrong with what she was doing, and even went as far as to accuse me of doing something wrong by asking her to get off her personal phone.

We stopped to safely let our service dogs in training to go potty in front of the buildings being…read morebuilt beside this business. The office lady came out and harassed us and said we weren't allowed to use the grass. We explained that we carry poop bags and will clean up after ourselves. She proceeded to threaten to call the cops if we didn't leave immediately. We just ignored her because I know the laws about allowing service dogs in training anywhere accommodations are made for those with disabilities. I wish I'd snapped her picture so I could share it here. I've sent an email to their inbox but haven't heard from their general manager. I would not recommend anyone with a disability, visible or not to use this facility as they are uneducated about the rights of service dog access.

Got everything secure and headed there to finish signing up. I get there and there is surprise after surprise about how much everything would cost to get started. The counter clerk said the price I was quoted was for an upstairs unit, which I would have had no problem renting if they had an elevator, but guess what they don't? I was also informed there would be a $29 service fee, and in addition to this, a lock was needed that cost $17. So what was supposed to be approximately $85 with tax has now become $150. Bait and switch and scam at work here. When I told the clerk about the promo price, her response was that it was a mistake on the quote, no offer to accommodate. Poor customer service! She also asked about my homeowners insurance to protect my belongings. Otherwise, I can purchase their policy, I had to go back and get the policy from home, which was an inconvenience. All of this could have been told to me beforehand on the phone. The unit itself is climate controlled and is a 10x10. Also, my unit is on the farthest reaches of the property towards the back. Unfortunately, there is nothing positive to note on this review except that it is literally 3 mins away from home.
