We loved working with this co until.... The cabinets are great! Delivery was great with a few exceptions... a couple of doors needed to be replaced. The owner had them marked with an X. We asked for a few shelf's to be replaced and add a couple of more shelves. The owner agave a thumbs up. Now from this point is no communication. We paid half down and paid the balance upon delivery. Paid in full. Now we can't get communication back. We are so disappointed as we have neighbors that want cabinets and we want another house done. read more

Terrible customer service! We made an appointment for 4pm. I left work early to be here on time to meet with the estimator. At 4:15 pm we called the main office, no answer, and left a message. At 4:30 pm Mario the estimator called my wife and told her he was going to be here between 4 and 5. Keep in mind it's already 4:30 and thirty minutes past the 4pm set appointment. She said do not bother as he was already thirty minute late. He then blamed her, my wife, for the issue as if it was her fault he is incompetent. Do not use this company. If their estimator blames the prospect just imagine how the workers are going to behave. read more

I am very pleased with my new cabinets for my garage from 1rst Choice Storage Cabinets! The entire process was quite easy and hassle free. Saw a great deal on an advertisement and gave them a call. They sent a gentleman out to take some measurements and provide some options. We wanted to keep it simple, see how it went, and maybe add more to what we have down the road. The rep who came to our house was friendly and respectful and never pressured us to spend more than what we were comfortable with. I really appreciated that. They were very accommodating to our request for scheduling times and sent the installer by this morning to install the cabinets. I never usually review any company until I have actually seen them work and seen the products in place etc. In this case we have not yet had the cabinets in our garage yet but I am exceptionally confident in this company to build fantastic garage cabinets. The show room shows the cabinets all ready assembled and they are very sturdy and well built. They sent a guy "mike" in our case out to look and measure the area. Mike told us the price and collected the appropriate deposit. Absolutely a fantastic transaction all around. If I have something to update I will write an addition but I expect to have a fantastic experiance. You need to try these guys they're fantastic. read more

Mike did the consultation and he was great. He explained everything and was upfront with pricing. The installation was done by a different gentleman. As shown in pictures he must have been missing the stud or something because there were over 15 holes that were drilled before final placement. Some holes were covered with spackle. He didnt bother to cover or move my tool chest therefore drywall was all over my tools and box. He also didn't bother to sweep up his mess. For being a legitimate company i would expect them to leave the area clean as it was when he first got there. read more

I got my cabinets done by them years ago and one of the doors fell off the hinges. I asked them to stop by and give me a quote on repair or replacement last year. They came by and we went over all the options. I've call so many times to get a update. They keep telling me they're working on it. Sadly they still haven't called me back. It's been 4+ months. Final Review. My issue with 1st Storage Cabinets was resolved on Tuesday, 2 July. Daniel, the foreman, upon reading my initial review, reached out to me and made sure my concerns were addressed and rectified. He showed up Tuesday afternoon and did an ocular of the finished job and understood my valid slight disappointment. He promised (and we shook hands) that he would send the installer back the following day and fix what needed to be fixed. Jose, the installer, showed up the following day and adjusted what needed to be adjusted and spackled what needed to be spackled. All finished in matter of less than half an hour. This time, I did my post-job inspection before shaking Jose's hand goodbye and I was happy with the outcome. I'd credit, Daniel, the foreman, the upgraded rate and the extra 2 stars for responding to my concern (he called apologetically more than once and left a message on my voicemail) and for showing up, again, apologetically and verbally made sure the job would be done according to my liking/standards. The actual face to face interaction I had with him was an added touch. He also called and left a message a few days after to check and ensure that everything went alright. I could not, however, give them a full 5 star considering what transpired after the initial installation. Again, kudos to Daniel. read more

From beginning to end I had a positive experience with 1st Choice. Within a few days of speaking to Elvie, Mike stopped by my home to measure for kitchen cabinet rollout drawers . He was on time, efficient and very professional. Also very kind to my yappy pups (big + for that). He took time to answer my questions and explained the process, as well as the pricing, so there wouldn't be any surprises. Their prices were so reasonable I ordered twice the number drawers. Mike said they would be ready to install in a week. Wow the bids I got from other vendors were twice the price and would take 6-8 weeks for delivery. True to his word, a week later Jorge arrived to deliver and install. He was a very polite young man and had the work done efficiently and professionally in a about 2 hours. So I just got the cabinets installed yes they look great but the reason I am giving them a 2 star is cause they are not organized. The sales tep Mike was a good salesman $800 cabinets are a great price but this is what it comes with a 3-4 hr window for installation is what he said. Which actually took a lot longer, more like 17hrs total. They sent 1 guy at 11am and he stayed at my house till almost 10pm. He couldn't finish cause it was so late he also blamed his company for not giving him all the right pieces, so he had to schedule to come back. Guess what the day he said he was going to come back he said he couldn't come cause his boss gave him more work. So he comes on Sunday an installs the other cabinet. Well then he drills the handle screw right threw the door. He schedules the fix to be in 2 days and guess what he cant make it cause they have to order the door. I had roll out shelves installed in my kitchen. Price is average. Shelves are OK. The rails and hardware are of low quality and light duty. The worst part is the customer service and follow-up experience. We found workmanship problem and asked them to fix them. It was like pulling teeth. It took forever for them to come to look at the problem. It has to be on the day when they happen to have a job close by. All together it took about a month to get the problem fixed. Can you believe we had to pay for them to come back. They charge us trip charge to fix their problems. I don't believe they accept credit card. If I had charged it, I could have decline payment until the problems were fixed. If possible, charge for the service and the job. That way you have recourse against this company. read more

About 3 years ago they did my garage cabinets, a year after that they did the storage rack above my garage door, and then today did my kitchen cabinet roll outs. Good product, when I asked when I could get them installed, the salesman told me they only have one installer right now, and he leaves at 2pm. You got to be kidding me. He told me a price of $1,000 for what I wanted. When I looked at the estimate it was $1,077.00, I asked him what was this and he replied, what , do you wants a deal. So he can stick it. Went with 1 st Choice . Placed the order on a Wednesday , had 17 pull outs, set of garage cabinets, and overhead storage that next Tuesday. We purchased 12 slide out cabinet drawers and 1st Choice is a class act from start to finish. I called Elvie and she scheduled us for measurement within 3 days. She proactively communicated with us by phone and email throughout the process. Mike showed up right on time and quickly measured our cabinets. While he measured, Elvie scheduled us for our installation within a week. Elvie called a day prior to install and the install guy showed up early and knocked on the door at the appointment time. He installed everything fast and did it right the first time. The pull outs are really high quality and my wife and I love the results. Bottom line. I would not go anywhere else.
