I contacted Mike's Countertops to replace my quartz master bathroom countertop and sinks and overall it was a good experience. They were very responsive, with Mike replying to my Yelp request the next day. He came out and took measurements within a week and had the best estimated cost of 3 companies. We set up the replacement for Friday between 3 PM and 4:30. At 5 PM, I called Mike, as they had not arrived. Somehow their communications had broken down and he did not have a track on his installers. They finally showed at around 6 PM, Mike called me at 6:30, and he did not know they were here. They took out the old countertop and replaced it in an expeditious fashion. I am happy with the install but a few small issues. The timing issue above was a pain, they did scratch up the wall in a few places (I'll have to touch that up), and when they took the old sinks out, they leaked water down the stairs. Not sure you can prevent that. Mike did call several times trying to work out the delay and called back after the install. Their install was good and the price was reasonable. I ended up calling Mike early on Saturday morning and I sent him pictures and he gave me a rough estimate over the phone. I had asked him if he does Countertops in Pahrump and let me tell you he arrived on that same Saturday with samples to show us. Mike is extremely knowledgeable and he along with his helper did an outstanding job on our kitchen and bathroom countertops. If you have any questions for him he will give you an honest answer. When I do a contracting job, I usually go to google and yelp and I find the three top reviewed contractors in the area. I then contact them, get estimates, and go from there, comparing on what they offer, the quality, and turn around. First of all, do not use Lowes or Home Depot. They use a third person contractor, have VERY long wait times, and there's a middleman fee there. Instead - give to a local contactor such as Mike. Not only was the turnaround (Less than a week!) surprisingly quick, but it was a positive, excellent experience. I asked him to visit me again after the initial consultation since I was second guessing myself and he was kind enough to show up the next day with samples so I could confirm my choice. His crew did excellent work overall, the seam is nearly invisible and the counters are really lovely. I went with a Quartz top and he called me the one day to tell me the piece that came in was not up to his standard and he apologized for the delay but he wanted to have another piece. Are you kidding? You're apologizing for giving me the best quality you could?? Absolutely not, I'm thanking you! On top of that, he took his time going over the kitchen with me, how it would butt up against the walls, troubleshot some issues from the terrible crew that installed my cabinets, and the final product was beautiful. It GLEAMS. And best of all, due to the hot/cold and the odd installation of the cabinets, I had some minor cracking of the silicon caulking used to seal the edge. I texted him and the NEXT DAY he was out there with his crew repairing it in 15 minutes at no charge. This is quality service and I would happily use him again for other properties and rooms. I also had him replace my stainless sink with a quartz sink along with new faucet and drilled a hole in the kitchen counter and installed a push button for the garbage disposal . Met with Mike on a Saturday and new countertops were installed that Friday. He had a lot of colors and veining to choose from. I would choose the more expensive color for my quartz, but it did go well with my cabinet restoration. I thought I wanted a solid white, but putting the samples side by side in the kitchen and seeing it against the dark blue cabinets and upper white cabinets I ended up going with his suggestion.
