So I'm joining the club in posting a five-star review for Cabinet Craft. Johan did all the work himself, and he is the most meticulous, conscientious, hard-working perfectionist I've ever dealt with. Every day he left my kitchen cleaned up, all his tools and equipment neatly put away for the next day, and at the end he so thoroughly cleaned inside all the cabinets and then cleaned the whole kitchen thoroughly. My house is only 6 years old and we had to have all (kitchen, office area, and two bathrooms) the cabinets refaced. Did the same exact color--white. But these doors are solid and can withstand washing. The builder cabinets (upgraded nonetheless) had one coat of paint and no sealer so washing them washed off the paint! We also had them make an extra row of cabinets for the kitchen so they are now up to the ceiling. Looks so much better. Victor did the install. Was here 7 days (even the weekend) and did a great job. Cleaned up daily. The finished product looked better than the original cabinets. I don't like hardware so I opted to have the doors/drawers routed so you could finger pull them. Big mistake. Not their fault, it was mine. At least I kept all the original hardware and had it reinstalled. Had a problem with some trim coming off. Had me send a photo of the problem and someone was out to fix it immediately. He said the nail gun originally used was probably out of nails at the time it was installed and it just now pulled away. I had another company come out to give me a quote. Cabinet Craft was 40% less for the exact same work. Barry and his son were very professional when they came out and when I told him the cost of the other quote, he knew exactly who it was. Barry knows his business. Now it is a pain to completely empty ALL the cabinets, but it gives you a chance to purge stuff you haven't used and rearrange if need be. Couldn't been happier with the job they did. read more

I love my new cupboards. What I am not happy about is that there was NO follow up. The installer broke my microwave door. He also scratched up and dented the side of fridge. He did not alert me to this, I found out later. There was nothing from cabinet craft about the damage. This worker also left me with a business card hoping to do more side jobs however, did not tell me about the damage he did. We priced having our cabinets painted and resurfaced. The best value by far was having them resurfaced with new doors and drawer fronts and the price was the same price as having them painted. James made the deal with us and did exactly what we agreed on, which we appreciate when doing business. Victor did the installation and what a treasure of a craftsman he is! I cannot say enough about how grateful I am for the courtesy and professionalism of Cabinet Craft. Maz and Randy assisted with a small project that involved changing the opening dimensions for a built-in oven and adding a drawer below. Five - count 'em - FIVE other companies or people looked at the job before Cabinet Craft. A few bid and then cancelled when we went to confirm, saying they got a bigger, better job. A couple said the job was too much for them. One just ghosted us. Cabinet Craft stayed with us to the end, and did a great job on the cabinet. This is really outside their wheelhouse as they deal more with re-finishing entire kitchens or baths. But they agreed to help us and treated our job as important as any of their big jobs. They were 100 percent responsive, on-time, and courteous. If I need bigger remodels in the future for my personal residence or rentals, I am calling these folks. I stopped in their store just to take a look and was help by one of their reps, Ashlee. She was more than friendly and was super helpful in guiding me in the right direction. She was attentive to what I was interested in and showed my different samples and material of cabinets. Leo installed the cabinets in our last house and we knew we wanted him to install the cabinets in our new home. Leo does FANTASTIC work! Had kitchen and bathroom cabinets refaced in October. We had builder grade oak cabinets which over time had faded and dried out. Didn't want to spend enormous amount of money replacing all the cabinets so went with refacing. Very happy with the result and everything looks so much better than before. Kudos to Alex, he was the lone installer and he did it all, removed old cabinet doors and drawers, sanded the cabinets, and installed the new doors and drawers perfectly. He worked hard every single day and stayed as long as it took to get the work done. It was a big job considering we have two and a half bathrooms and a hallway storage cabinet in addition to the kitchen. Took a little over a week but the wait was worth it. Fair disclosure: this one-star rating is the average between the cabinet work (five stars) and everything else (run!). Hire CabinetCraft for cabinets; but be careful with everything else that they may sign on to do--that risks ruining the impression. If cabinets are all you need done, CabinetCraft is a top choice. Victor (the installer) was punctual, reliable, and efficient. Bravo! I cannot say enough good words about that part of the project. The final product looks great and seems durable--all at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, cabinets are not always the only thing you need done. In our kitchen project, we also needed new countertops. This is where it got interesting. One concern was about what seemed like a waste of time. You see, Barry (designer/salesman--and apparent owner) doesn't travel with samples in his trunk. He wants you to go see Anne (his wife--and apparent manager-owner) in the showroom. There, you can look at a few small squares of countertop material (which could easily fit in a carry-on) and pick one color. My wife and I did. However, I ended up not finding that color at the tile & stone store (Arizona Tile), where CabinetCraft sent us next. What was the point of that showroom visit? At Arizona Tile, we selected another granite color pattern that was on display. I coordinated with Anne (who, in turn, coordinated with JDS Surfaces, the fabricator) to ensure that this change went into the paperwork, which I signed when making a 50% deposit on the countertops. The next step: going back-and-forth with Arizona Tile about actually "tagging" some slabs for the project. You see: if something was on display, it was not necessarily available to us. A week later after a few frantic phone calls (including us, Arizona Tile, and Anne), we had our slabs lined up. That was the first step to get the countertop part of the project started. The second step was to get the measurements for countertop fabrication. Since the fabricator was a different entity (JDS), precise coordination with them did not seem to be CabinetCraft's job. So, a JDS guy showed up unannounced--but, at least, on the day when he was supposed to show up. Well, okay. I rushed home from work to make sure we discussed what needed to happen. The third step was the wait for the countertops to be fabricated. From the get-go, Anne communicated that it might take a week or so--her own recent experience was twelve days without a kitchen. Well, okay again. Our installation ended up scheduled for Day 11 of the project--although nobody called to make sure that it was a convenient day. Day 11 was inconvenient, but I settled for what it was. I then got excited when a call came from JDS on Day 10: they had an opening, and could complete the installation--the fourth step--earlier than expected. That was great news! Until it wasn't. The window of time for the countertop installation had to be pushed an hour or two--there was a hold up at the shop with some piece requiring last-minute work. Well, okay for the third time; my schedule obviously was less important. Finally, the crew called me with a 30-minute ETA and arrived 40 minutes later. When I looked at the truck, I knew something was wrong. The granite slab delivered was not what we picked out at Arizona Tile. The paperwork accompanying the load confirmed that (so did a call to Arizona Tile--our slabs were still there). Whoa! Not okay. That made me pretty mad and dismayed. What now? I got on the phone with CabinetCraft (inside the house), the JDS guy got on the phone with whomever (outside the house). Then the JDS guy marched in through the door without knocking with some sort of an update. No knocking? No conversation. Without any profanity, but in a firm and elevated voice, I instructed the "intruder" to leave. And so he did. We were now looking at nine more days without a kitchen. The clear problem here was that nobody actually "owned" the project. CabinetCraft did our cabinets and "pawned" us off to JDS for the countertops. We became "hostages" to JDS: after the demolition of the existing countertop, we were without a kitchen and at the mercy of the fabricator. If something went wrong--and something did--there was no real accountability. Did anybody ensure that the right slab went into fabrication? Probably not. I would have to confirm with Anne. When she is back from vacation. What about other stuff? Well, CabinetCraft could sell us a Karran sink. Anne gave us a brochure with a quote. I found the same sink at Home Depot for about half of that. Reconnecting the plumbing? No. Backsplashes? No. We got a one-pager with a short list of handyman references. I spoke with a couple of those handymen. Some were not licensed. Some sounded expensive. I ended up taking care of the work myself. Be prepared to do the same. That is unless cabinets are all you need. read more

Barry saved my butt! I called in CabinetCraft to remedy a botched cabinet refinishing job that had gone way wrong. That refinishing job damaged several of my cabinet doors beyond repair and so refacing seemed to be the obvious solution at this point. Along with CabinetCraft i had two other companies coming to quote the job of a kitchen, 3 bathrooms, and a laundry room for refacing. Barry was my first estimate and he was very understanding of the position i was in with my home in a bit of disarray, as well as my confidence levels in another company coming in to do work on my home at this point. Barry was spot on with my cabinet job, he was honest, super thorough in his explanations, and was simply a no nonsense kind of professional which was a breathe of fresh air for me at this point. My installer was Victor. This guy is good, and let me tell you i am not easy to please being meticulous myself about most things. He not only REALLY gave pride in his attention to detail, but the guy worked relatively clean which really made finally clean up easier on me. He was punctual each morning, and was great with communication on when he planned to start/finish each day so you can plan your day. In the end a refacing was a larger investment than a refinishing of my old cabinetry but to be honest with you i am so glad things worked out this way.
