If I could give 1st Class Medical a "0" I would. BUYER BEWARE! I purchased an Inogen, and when it needed repair, they told me the machine had been discontinued and could Not be repaired. Main Clinic Supply proved that to be a lie when they repaired my Inogen and returned the machine to me within 48 hours. Admittedly I believed 1st Class Medical when they told me my Inogen couldn't be repaired, and purchased another $2,000+ machine from them. I sent the new machine in for repair and did not receive the same machine back! I placed identifying marks on the outer case of my machine before I sent it, because I knew they had lied before. I called FCM and was completely ignored. I emailed pictures to show them. The representative stated over and over that she didn't understand my concerns. My concern was/is I want MY machine back. Again, I emailed them pictures! I urgent you to learn from my mistakes. Do Not have any business dealings with this company. read more

My dad needed to replace his oxygen concentrator as it had stopped working. we were trying to decide on whether to buy a new unit or save some money and buy a refurbished unit. we were offered a buy back on old unit and Giovanni really made it seem that no matter the condition, we would be getting $500 back. This is what convinced us to go for the newer, more expensive unit. Turns out they went back to the recording of our conversation. according to them, he did mention "once" that it depended on the condition. he must have slipped that in and he did not stress it and left us both with the wrong impression. they only offered us $100. we are very disappointed with the not really up-front sales technique. read more

First Class Medical Inc. 2140 SW Main Blvd Lake City FL 32025 I bought a brand new Inogen for my mom in January 2019. I also paid $100 extra for a longer life battery. At the time of the purchase the salesman assured me they would buy back the equipment at a good price. Sadly three and a half months later my mom died. When I contacted First Class Medical for instructions on returning and buy back, they told me it was now only worth $700. So I shipped it back to them, but feeling very disappointed that I wasn't even getting $1000 for a concentrator worth more than $2000. Then they called me and said the DC converter plug was not in the box when I know darn well I put it in there. I should've taken a photo before I sealed the box, but I was grieving so I didn't take that precaution. Also they said the battery was bad - the long life battery I'd paid $100 extra for not 4 months previous. So they offered me $500. I took the offer feeling ripped off, but my mom was dead so what need did I have for the Inogen? They have slick commercials on TV but offer poor customer service. I sent in an Imogen portable Ox machine for my father, who needs it. I sent it priority to 1st class medical for emergency maintenance. 2 weeks after they received the unit, I still have not gotten a call back from them. When I call to find out the status, I'm told I'm "on the list." My god this is bad. read more

Do not buy from this Company. I bought an inogen oxygen consentrator a couple months ago. The cost was over $2000. This unit does not work unless it is plugged into either the car plug adapter or in home charger. Once unplugged the unit stops working. I have called 9 times in two days and told someone would get back to me. I sent 5 emails. This morning Carlos called me this morning and said Inogen should take it back, he said he would call them and call me back. NO RESPONSE. Would've given a star but had no choice. read more

Buyer beware for sure!! I purchased my Mom an oxygen generator Aug 2020. She used it one time, to get to the hospital in mid Jan 2021. She passed away Feb 1 2021. My father and I also got ill and were hospitalized shortly after Mom. Dad passed away March 2021. And I was still in hospital and then recuperating for months. I contact 1st class medical to purchase a cannula for the unit and they told me they'll buy the oxygen generator back. I send it to them (unit, case, manual, cords, two batteries). I hear nothing for weeks! I call and call and finally ask for a supervisor. And they tell me my mom financed it and they're not buying it because it's financed. I provided proof from the credit card company that the unit was paid for in full by me that they were not telling the truth and asked them to send the unit back. I paid $3,600 for the unit and it was used once. They kept my Mom's unit and will not send it back. I last spoke to them on November 13, 2021. They have never returned the unit or made an effort to pay for the unit. It's very sad when companies take advantage of a very bad situation and make stressful times even more stressful. They have no excuse. I am also administrator for both of my parents estates and have full rights to take care of any of these matters in my parents behalf; therefore, there is no reason for this company to have taken the unit and not returned it...except that they can sell it to someone else for $3,600, perhaps. We ordered the replacement columns for our Inogen 3 And told we would receive them in 3-5 days. I called 5 days later and the order was never processed but they charged our credit card. I told them we were leaving town in one week and needed the replacement columns. They processed the order and we received them on Friday afternoon and they sent the wrong replacement columns. I called them immediately and they were sending out the correct columns but could not guarantee I would get them prior to our departure date. I had to pay $45 for overnight delivery in order to know I would have them. I called back on Monday requesting they refund my $45 and spoke to a supervisor. I explained I was placed in this situation because of their 2 mistakes - failure to process the order and my having to call again and then sending the incorrect column. Because I asked for overnight delivery I was responsible for the charge. They would not budge even when I complained they created the problem. I asked them if it was worth it to them to loose a customer for $45 - silence. Would recommend purchasing directly from Inogen And not deal with these middle men companie. read more

I would never recommend this company. OH how we wish we had went through INOGENE company. Had 2 repairs in 2 years, shipping & handling charges ridiculous. Just paid $350.00 for loaner, would not trust me to return loaner next day. Please go directly thru the company inogene. read more

This company is not to be used if you are in need of oxygen and accessories. I was recommended to this company to rent batteries for my portable oxygen machine. Ordered three which they did not take insurance for and we had pay over $300 for 3 batteries that were supposed to be 100% charged as required by Delta airlines to fly overseas. I received 1 100%, 1 25% and 1 75%. Who charges or sells batteries not fully charged. Also we were not told that we would need a charger which of course would have been extra. When calling them we were directed to a customer service representative who was rude, ignorant and very defensive. I had a prescription for oxygen as I was a lung cancer survivor and a senior who also recovered from CHF. So if you need services do not use this company. They not only did not give us what we paid for but did not respond to any questions afterwards. Not a good honest company to deal with. read more

I purchased a portable oxygenator and a home oxygen unit from 1st Class Medical in December of 2015. I received both units within two days of purchase and both arrived without any damage, sent by UPS. The portable oxygenator internal battery was 100% charged. The portable battery had to be plugged into the unit for it to charge. The only complaint I have about my ActiVox is the straps on the carrying case. I had used an Inogen before I purchased my ActiVox and the straps on the Inogen were easy to change and handle. The straps on the ActiVox are more restrictive. I received excellent attention which I was dealing with Customer Service. They answered all my questions and provided me with the best unit for me to purchase. Medicare would not pay for the purchase of these units. That is a problem any person buying the oxygen equipment will run into. read more

i wrote a review by the first young answered the phone when i called them ands that set me off. after talking to owner and manager this item was corrected and i received the help that i knew customers get from this company. i must say they are super . dont let the first voice you hear set yopu off like it did me. keep up th good work. read more
