Communication at first was great, then they failed to call me the day prior, I had to call them. I confirmed with them again what was needed as far as truck, lift and provide the dimensions weight everything. The confirmed and said nothing to worry about. they tell me they would arrive between 8-10am then get texted at 10pm the night before saying 12-2pm. 2pm no call no show, 2:20 the driver calls telling me 30-40min. I again to make sure the information and what type of truck and lift gate needed. Driver shows up just before 3pm with a truck that is smaller then needed and with a lift gate smaller and unable to handle the move. Their driver was extremely nice guy. He tired to call his manager who could be heard over the phone bothered that we was called. Worst of all refused to speak with us or rectify the situation. Said we can wait till Monday to speak with the estimate rep. 1st class moving failed and Could not deliver. Cost my business time and money. read more

Ripped my couch and charged me a full month of storage when I only needed a few days to store my belongings

The busintess owner responded with two statements. 1) That "I was paid 2.5 times what it (my claim) was worth to make me happy". The truth is that I held up my end of the bargain and put in the time to document the damage to our possessions and provide legitimate, researched estimates for repair or replacement cost only to have management reply with arbitrary small numbers and no backup for their estimate as if this was some sort of negotiation rather than an insurance claim. My request was fair and after months of back and forth and insults I settled for half of the value of what was broken just to close this chapter. 2) That it was odd I stated "I have moved 5 times and filed 5 claims and this has been the worst experience". What I actually said in the preceding paragraph was "I've moved 5 times and this was by far our worst experience." I haven't had to file damage claims for all my moves, and this claim was an order of magnitude larger than my other one thanks to the wide array of stuff that was ruined. I stand by and amplify my original statement that in my opinion this was by far the worst mover I've ever worked with. In my opinion they were both unprofessional and provided substandard service. read more

We had a small move -- transplanting some furniture and lots of boxes -- from our home to a new residence (for our adult child.) They moved some really heavy items with no complaints, they were professional and took care of my items. If you hate moving, call 1st class! You may think your move is too small like I did (from a 1 bedroom apt to another 1 bedroom apt), but Hassan and his team were happy to assist me with my move. I was a little nervous about timing as I had to reserve the freight elevators at both locations, but the movers showed up right at 8am! And they were done even faster than anticipated. They wrapped my couch, boxed my picture frames and took extra care of my China dishes. The staff was friendly and courteous and saved me and my back so much stress! We just used 1st class moving, and were really impressed, jose and two other movers showed up on time, and finished earlier than expected. They made sure to only move what we needed and even helped move furniture left at our new house by the previous owners. The quote was much less than others and the final bill was even less because the quote included items we ended up moving ourselves or selling before moving day. They came recommended by our agent to perform local move. Move was late, overtime and seven items damage even though they supposedly wrap all furniture in blankets. Grandfather clocks pendulum was damaged,even thought they move them all the time. Just pay an extra fee. Piano and 5 pieces of furniture had either dents or deep scrapes all the way through the veneer. The move was insured but apparently that doesn't matter. They denied my more than fair claim (for just new pendulum and fixing furniture scrapes) after making me wait nearly two months because they claim it wasn't noted that night just before midnight when I signed their bill of lading. Their foreman knew there was damage. I asked about the claims process and he said I just get in contact with their claims department. I also read bill of lading before signing and it said nothing stating you waive your right to make a claim by signing the paper at the end of the move. This is also like my sixth move in my life. NO moving company has ever held that position. Have seen other complaints from their victims stating similar experience with a claim. I highly recommend you don't use this company. read more
